Sept 5 2010 "Labor Day Getaway"

I think I've got it all straight. Our meet is set for 1:30 in Studio Sea. That should fit in for everyone to be able to pop in for a minute or two. I'll have copies of the list for everyone. Jut need the last couple of cbin numbers.:goodvibes

Just heard from another poster. The list on page 10 is updated and correct. Still just need to hear from Tina and Patrick and AnnMarie and family.:goodvibes

You are probably the primary person on the ressie so your name is on all of them. Then you get 2 and he gets 2 but if you need more you can get them at the terminal.

Oh, ok that makes sense. I had a feeling it was something like that because yes, I'm the primary person on the ressie, but I wasn't 100%. Thanks for the info! :)

Hello!

I can't believe we've hit the 30 day mark! I am so excited! In the final stretch of preparation, I am working on my gifts for the FE exchange. Do we give a gift every night? Once for the cruise? Please give some advice!!!!!

It's whatever you want to do. Some people give a gift every night, some give it only once per cruise, some give a gift to each person and some give it to the entire stateroom. It's really just personal preference and whatever you choose to do will be just fine! Have fun with it! ;)

I thought it might be fun to see our fellow cruisers before we meet on the cruise. Here's a picture of Mary and me.

Anybody else brave enough to post a picture?

Hi All!

Haven't posted in a while and just responded to the private message I received. I won't be participating in the FE this trip. I was really hoping I would be free from using a walking cane but unfortunately I still need to use it. Last year, when we cruised, it was extremely difficult to make FE deliveries due to my limited mobility so I have decided not to do it this year. I hope everyone enjoys themselves and gets a lot of wonderful gifts from fellow cruisers. I can't believe we will be cruising in 4 weeks from today! I can't wait!

Cute pic! Is that at SeaWorld?

I think you should be ok with those type of shoes since Disney really doesn't have any floorless or hanging coasters which are the usual culprits that make it necessary to remove shoes. Both RnRC and EE have floors so you could definitely ride them and the rest of the attractions are nowhere near "shoe losing" ability. LOL! :)

OK everyone. There's only 1 group I haven't heard from, so it looks like we will have 34 adults, with 2 more possible, and 11 kids with possibly 3 more. A total of 16 possibly 17 cabins. That's a nice size group. I'll bring lists to the meet for everyone, and update it on here the week before we leave. 4 weeks from today we'll be on the ship!!:yay::dance3:

It's best to go ahead and cut it off now. That will allow people to plan, get materials and pack appropriately. Whoever's on the list now should be it. If people want to pack extras to cover the group that is not communicating, that would be up to them.
Bringing lists is a great idea as I know people sometimes forget them and then are running around trying to find everyone, not the best way to spend vacation.

Woo Hoo for 4 weeks!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

You can do it however you like. We've done it both ways...out first cruise we delivered gifts everyday and our last 2 cruises just a couple of times...it's however you and your family want to do it! There honestly are no rules, just however and whenever you want to do it! Hope that helps!

We got ours today... :cool1::cool1: HOORAY :cool1::cool1: It all seems so close now!

Also, with our docs we finally got our room number. We are 5514. AND... the best news of all was that we got an UPGRADE!:cheer2::cheer2::dance3::cheer2::cheer2:

Only 5 doors down from us! And I thought we were going to be the only ones from this meet on that deck...

We just got back from the OBX yesterday, so I have to schedule a pick up of the docs from the TA.

Just over three weeks left and every day will seem like an eternity....

Hey Gang! We are almost there! A quick suggestion/request on the FE list. For people with multiple rooms/people in rooms, can you post a breakdown of who is in what room? If anyone is personalizing FE gifts, it makes it easier to ensure the right person gets the right gift...it also helps with organization/packing.

Thanks!!!:thumbsup2

Is there any way I can get a copy of the FE list early?

Thanks :)
Ginny
