I just booked ours. Spirit Airlines, direct flight out of O'Hare, $89 each way. We leave the 3rd, return on the 11th. I can live with the $89 each way. But....I will watch the airfare. Last year, Spirit gave us a credit towards a future flight when our airfare went down. I would love to take a trip with my DS10 for his 11th birthday in October (just the two of us). Maybe it will just work.

One question for anyone that has stayed at Ron Jon Resort. Is it worth $190 a night for a studio? There are not many hotels in Coco Beach area that will just book a room for Sept 3. We would rather stay near the beach for that night. What do you think?

I think that $190 per night is a little steep. I sure would go on line and find something a little more reasonable.
I would rather stay somewhere a little cheaper even if I had to drive 1/2 or so to get to the ship.
There is plenty of time to try and find something cheaper

I think this may have been said before, but regardless of what you are told about the Radisson, they are not sold out. What they are not telling you is that they have a two night minimum for that week. I am guessing that it has to do with it being Labor Day weekend.

Right now I have reservations for Friday and Saturday nights. Not sure if I am keeping them or going to stay at WDW. Radisson wants $169 for the cheapest room. I think I have enough points for one night at DVC. Heck - I could rent points and stay at WDW cheaper.

Okay - update - had a whole 23 points left in 2006 - so I have borrowed them and am staying at BWV on Sat night. So where was the party?

We got a room at the Holiday Inn Express for the one night before the cruise. This could come in handy in the event of an emergency on the ship , cause I could say no problemo as I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express.

Seriously, Lynn really likes the shower heads at the HI Express'.

Exactly, and if they told me that instead of a lame lie of 'another group selling them out', I wouldn't be half as annoyed. Honestly I now have no trust for them. Even if it is available, I'll be looking at staying someplace else in the future before a cruise. And more importantly, I won't be recommending them to anyone else in the future for this reason.
