We are in panel #2 ALL the way in the back in the center. We all have our tie-dye Mickey shirts on that Diana did for us. Chris has Emily on his shoulders and I'm just to his left with Madison on my shoulders.

We are standing to the right of Amy & Family!!! (thanks for wearing the shirts and making it easier for me to find myself!) :cool1:

"Wonder"-ing about the next S.S. Member Cruise?

When Jim Lewis, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Disney Vacation Club, announced the sailing date of the next S.S. Member Cruise during his well-attended presentation, "A Conversation with Jim Lewis," Members applauded enthusiastically! That's right; plans are already underway for the S.S. Member Cruise 2006, when Members will be "Celebrating Magical Milestones" aboard the Disney Wonder®, sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida, on Sunday, October 22, 2006.

Saturday, December 3, 2005, from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EDT, has been set aside at Member Services to exclusively accept reservation requests for the October 22, 2006 sailing. Look for a special event invitation to arrive in homes next month with more details about the next "Wonder"-ful voyage! Moved recently? Be sure to e-mail Member Services with your new mailing address.

Disney Vacation Club will soon debut a Reservation Points chart for this special event on dvcmember.com, allowing Members use of the 11-month booking window prior to the voyage to make their vacation plans. Last year, the S.S. Member Cruise 2005 voyage sold out in just five hours and nine minutes, so be sure to mark your calendar as soon as your invitation arrives in the mail..

When calling in December to book your reservation, be sure to provide your e-mail address so you can receive regular electronic updates through S.S. Member Cruise 2006 Cruise News. This is the best way to learn all about the activities, excitement, and adventures being planned.

Be sure to check back for the latest news and information regarding the S.S. Member Cruise 2006 voyage.

WOO HOO!!!!! :cheer2:

Quick question for anyone who paid cash for this past cruise.
Did you have to pay in full when you book or did they let you make pymnts? :confused3
I can't find my info for booking from this cruise to answer that question.
Thank in advance!

I'm almost positive that you have to pay ALL the cash at booking.

Ok ladies and gents, boys and girls, time for a little fun!

If you participated in the picture on Castaway Cay, I have again redid the picture as last time.

Mark - thanks for doing this with the picture. We are in panel two. Annmarie and Tom

Jeff is already figuring how much we will have to save each paycheck to pay for the next cruise!
Worse comes to worse we can put in on the Disney card and just pay that off to get our percentage back.

We paid cash and had to pay in full at time of booking so we used the good old Disney Visa and racked up some $$ in rewards.

Forgot to mention earlier that on Friday evening (post-cruise), DH and I went to see the debut of Disney On Ice: The Incredibles' Magic Kingdom Adventure in downtown Orlando. It started off a bit slow, but picked up when the family arrived at MK. It's somewhat participatory for kids. They give kids a wrist-band and asked them later to push the buttons on it to over-power the bad guy (I can't remember his name - the one with the wild hair from the movie). Compared to the Princess show, there seemed to be alot more talking and not as much music. They re-created Main Street Parade, Jungle Cruise, the Tiki birds and a couple others. It was an okay show, but left me feeling a little less than magical. Quite a few empty seats remaining. Maybe Orlando just gets Mickeyed out after a while. It was worth the $14 tickets I paid, but I was glad I didn't purchase the $30 ones.

Well the antibiotics seem to be doing their job so back to work I go!

About 1/2 the laundry is done. Still have some unpacking to do and lots of putting away.

I've also ordered by fish extender from Mrs. Lips so I'm more than ready for our next cruise :)

Amy - I spotted you guys right away with those shirts. They were great!

I can spot you also Amy. But, I find it hard to pick us out. Next time, I will remember to be a little more creative. After all, I'll have much more time to really prepare.

Is it too early to start packing for October 22, 2006?? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Maybe we should consider that when doing shirts for next year - something really colorful that we could use again in the picture. In 2003 they gave us shirts to wear and everyone was much closer together. I think there are more people in the 2003 picture as well.

So Cindy - did you find yourself and what panel are you in?

Cindy, I have enough time between cruises this time to make you tie dye Mickey shirts too! After all, it's going to be a VERY long winter!

Mary, I know where we are.....right next to Amy and Stacy. I just can't see us on this screen (bad computer today :badpc: ). It couldn't possibly mean that I need to put my glasses on to give it a good look. I know we are there. If I ever find our real one, I'll see it then. It's probably in the box that's at your house. :teeth:

I'm thinking maybe we should look at some of the other tshirt designs from other cruises. I like the t-shirts Kay had done for us or I wouldn't have ordered it. Gray just would not have been my personal color choice. I saw a beautiful tshirt design on the 11 day (which we are no longer going on) that was really colorful. I am not creative enough to design something awesome that will WOW everyone but I'm certain someone can come up with something.

And, bad news about my DVC/Member tshirt we purchased. Somehow I ruined it while we were bike riding at Castaway Caye. I thought it was just mud, but it must be grease and set in by now. Soaking it all day in Oxy Clean didn't even make a dent in the stains. :(

Diana, you are the best!!

I knew that all along!!

Did you and Bruce get to ride Soarin? I would have been more than happy to stay with the girls.

We did the behind the scenes tour at the Land the day we ran into you over at EPCOT. If anyone is considering it, it was wonderful. Even Walker enjoyed it. We'd definately do it again. And, our AP's got us a 15% discount -- even better.

Within a couple of dinners, our DDE card also paid for itself.

Cindy - oh so sorry to hear about your shirt. Yuck!

I loved the design on our shirts and usually ash is a great color beacuse it works well for everyone. In fact we wore them out to the beach on CC day. I took mine off for the picture because I was getting hot.

I was just thinking that if we were to do something in a bolder color next time it could help with the photo. But then you never know and they may give us shirts for the photo again. Just proves you can't plan out everything. :)

Here's a thought with grease stains - put liquid dish detergent on the stains. You know, the regular stuff near your kitchen sink, like Dawn, etc. I've used this for years for grease & food stains, and it almost always works. I put it on the stains, let it sit for a day or two, and then wash it like normal. It's worth a try!!

When I booked this last member cruise I used only points. I did inquire at some point if I could change that and pay part points part cash. MS said that was fine, but my points that were originally used to book the cruise would stay as Concierge and would have to be used by the end of my 2005 use year. I ended up just using all points.
Now if i want to do the next Memeber Cruise I will most likely have to use cash because I used up all my points!

RE:SOARIN'--Loved It!! We went the Friday before the cruise and it was just awesome!

You mean like the crowns and tiara's they gave us at dinner on Fantasy Night. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I like to think that was a thought they came up with by reading our thread. ;)
