Hi

Well we are okay here alot of water and alot of our trees are down. I will try to post a picture if I can figure it out. The power went out for about six hours. It was pretty scary but all is well I had about 11 pages to catch up on.

Probably not. It has to be a state certified birth certificate, with some kind of state seal on it, either embossed or in the background or something. Hospital reports of birth (such as Cindy's with the footprint on it) or other such cards are not a valid birth certificate. Can't really make mention of this enough.

Yes! Do be careful. If you're using a birth certificate, be sure it's a raised seal. They almost wouldn't let me board on the '03 Member Cruise because the birth certificate I brought wasn't recognized as official.

Cyndy,

Last cruise where/when? They've tightened things up a lot, especially in view that in the near future everyone will need passports.

Sorry to hear it, been hearing things like a million without power at one point and lots of flooding. :(

So glad you are okay! That must have been frightening, especially having no power in the midst of the winds + rain!

I must be getting a late start and it's only 8:47am here. I have a 40 min drive to work though too. :) Here's my attempt to catch up:

Amy: hope you and the kids fill better soon!

ohiominnie: Homeschooling....you are the bomb! No way I could do that. I have a hard enough time just helping Ahja with her homework and she's only in the 4th grade. New versions of teaching math is what has been getting me. :rotfl:

GTKY ?s:
Chocolate – white!!!!!

Toilet Paper – over

Treats – Salty or Sweet? Both

Pop or soda? soda

DVC Points – bank or borrow? Both but more banking than borrowing so far.

Now that we know some of the special guests onboard, Who are you most looking forward to seeing on the cruise? Everyone I've talked to so far through this thread.

OK...this is probably long enough so I'm going to get to work and check back shortly! :sunny:

And to catch up on something from last night...

Linda/seaulater and I were referring to a 'diva' we had on the 10 day cruise. This woman brought what to most normal people might be their entire closet along with her. Linda was not joking, it was this mountain of luggage.

And the funny story. At the end of the day at St Maarten, we hadn't cast off yet, and they were separately paging a 'family' and a name over and over on the shipwide speakers. So I and a few others were standing on deck 4 overlooking the dock, waiting for dinner and to see us cast off. Finally they pull the ramp in and are getting ready to leave when this golf cart comes zooming up. Out comes this woman, clutching a handful of those little shopping bags with 'names' on them in each hand. Outfit was more like dinner formal than 'I'm going to the island to shop'. She casually walks over to the still open hatch and just stands there staring at it with this 'you're going to put that ramp out for me' look. They eventually do, but I was sooooo hoping they'd just have cast off and left this person who is so self absorbed. It's not like they don't beat the all aboard time in to you everyplace before you leave the ship. There's huge signs both onboard and at the bottom of the gangway with the posted times we all need to be back by. They also announce it on the shipwide before we dock as well. But not for her, I guess.

WOW!!! I go to bed early and wake up to 6 pages to read!!! :earseek: :earseek:

Well, it's official, we're all sick with colds. Emily is coughing and has a stuffy nose. Chris has a sore throat. I'm all stuffed up. I'm sure when Maddie wakes up, she'll be sick too. At least we have a week to get healthy!!!

Sorry you guys are under the weather, but glad you getting it over with before cruise time! Get well Amy.

Here's my attempt to catching up!

Amy - hope you all get better soon

Sneaky3 glad to hear you all are safe.

Georgie hope the back is feeling better

Annmarie, not sure how long your passport has been expired or if that matters, but you can renew it on-line instead of going to the Post Office or Passport office. I doubt you would have the new one back in time for this cruise.

Mark :earseek: Some people just think it's all about them! I bet she was a sight! Can you imagine her actions if the ship started to pull away with her standing there - now that would have been some entertainment.

Gary had a nice chat with Cameron's teacher and he's all set to go. Some work will come home ahead of time, the rest will be expected to be done when we return.

Glad to see it worked out... we'll have to figure out some homework time on the ship. I'm sure the boys would love that. Stacy, does Nick have any homework??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh my goodness - it's really been a busy time here and I had about 12 pages to read thru to get to the end but there is no end in sight - unless of course it will be when we all get onto that glorious ship! :goodvibes

I'm going to start packing this weekend and go thru my many lists to get everything together by Wednesday so I can pack the van and hit the road Thursday afternoon. :moped:

Is it time yet!!!???!!! :Pinkbounc

I"m very excited this morning. I finally convinced my cruise buddies to do the Pirate hunt on Sat night! WOO HOO! So we are all signed up. Who else is doing the hunt?

I've tried hard to keep up with this thread and search for topics, but it put my brain on tilt! You all are great and I can't wait to meet you all. Just can't keep up with all the different topics on here.

So is there a Pirate hunt list?

Deb

No sorry - to add a little color to the table Mark and I will be in matching Disney tropical wear from the Disney store. Dark blue with Mickey and Minnie print!

We have the same things. I have the skirt and shirt with the matching sandles. My dh has the shirt. I'm sure there will be others wearing it too.

Chocolate – white, milk, or dark? Any type of chocolate is good

Toilet Paper – over or under? Over

Treats – Salty or Sweet? sweet

Pop or soda? pop Diet Coke for me

DVC Points – bank or borrow? borrow

Now that we know some of the special guests onboard, Who are you most looking forward to seeing on the cruise? I am most looking forward to meeting all of you
