Oh, but I will take a few minutes to answer these:

Chocolate – white, milk, or dark? USUALLY white but every now and again, chocolate

Toilet Paper – over or under? OVER!!!!

Treats – Salty or Sweet? depends on the mood. usually sweet. usually ice cream with Tang

Pop or soda? pop. Coke Zero is my new friend

DVC Points – bank or borrow? Dh does all of this, but we rarely borrow. hate robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Ok guys, it's official. There is NO way I can keep up with this thread! :)

Whilst I am not deep into packing yet, we do homeschool and I'm cramming in school so we can justify taking two weeks off so early in the year! The school day suffers when I give the kids constant breaks so that I can catch up on the thread. ;) Keeping up with all you chatty ppl is like a full time job! :rotfl2:

I'll try to check in now and again, but I may just read the last several posts each time. I suspect I'm not the only one with too much to do and not enough time to do it. :confused3

Visit when you can. If I see a "real" question someone posts, I try to post it again a couple of pages later so that it doesn't get lost in the mix.

Homeschooling -- I give you a lot of credit. How many kids do you have again and what are their ages?

How could I have not posted our school situation update?? :confused3

Gary had a nice chat with Cameron's teacher and he's all set to go. Some work will come home ahead of time, the rest will be expected to be done when we return.

Our last hurdle has been jumped. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

ACK, I HATE packing! I need to learn the art of it.

Who's packed? Who's in the process? And who's dreading it?

Add me to the dreading. I always overpack. I am afraid to start because then I just pack and repack. My plan was to wait until Thursday after work but now I have a dentist appt. to get a crown put on. Just what I wanted to do two days before I leave. Spend $$ and go to the dentist.

Thanks. I give God a lot of the credit!! *I* couldn't do it on my own!

Two kids...KT is 11 and in 6th grade (pre-algebra---OY!)
Nick is 8 1/2 and in 3rd grade.

The hardest thing to do is get over their differences in personalities. KT will argue every subject and assignment. Try to get out of whatever she can. Takes her more time to argue the point than just to DO the work. Nick will do it, get it done, ask what else does he have to do to finish school, and move on!! Hard not to point at Nick and ask KT why she couldn't just do it THAT way!

When she was about 5 we told her she'd make a good lawyer...she asked what a lawyer was. we said "someone who gets paid to argue!!!" She said "Than I'll be a lawyer!!!!"

MARY.....are you seeing a HUGE TZ moment??????

I always save these to answer later and then can't find them so here goes.

Chocolate – white, milk, or dark? milk

Toilet Paper – over or under? over

Treats – Salty or Sweet? sweet

Pop or soda? soda

DVC Points – bank or borrow? bank- now that I have my own points

Now that we know some of the special guests onboard, Who are you most looking forward to seeing on the cruise? All the people I've read so much from on this thread

I better go get ready for work now. I'm afraid to see how many page I'll come home to.

Chocolate – white, milk, or dark? usually none, but if I have to have it, make it milk

Toilet Paper – over or under? over. At one time, it was under but then a boss of mine told me to look at the print and it will tell you which way it should be placed. All prints have the design go over.

Treats – Salty or Sweet? Guess I'd have to pick salty (chips and dip, nachos). Cake/cupcakes things like that in our house are usually thrown out.

Pop or soda? I'm from the midwest -- it's pop and only pop around here

DVC Points – bank or borrow? How do you bank points again? Can someone enlighten me as we've never used this option. ;)

Now that we know some of the special guests onboard, Who are you most looking forward to seeing on the cruise? oh gosh, a hard one. I'm still hoping Roy will show up -- that would be my biggest thrill. For certain, if Chef Gordon is cooking, I'm going. :teeth:

I can't keep up either!!! Maybe if we had 2 threads... one for personal chatty things, and the other for the real cruise stuff. Then we could have all the cruise news in one place! :goodvibes

Oh well... it's a little late for that now :rotfl2:

Sorry about the colds! UGH! They're NOT fun. We will be packing Airborne.

I'm home today with a bad back! Not a good thing!!! Hope to rest this today and get better. Haven't had this much pain for a year or so!

Happy Single Digits EVERYONE!!!

I recently had a bad neck thing. Horrible spasms. It's better, but not all the way. Yesterday it was flaring up again. I'll be packing the Flexiril. At least I'll sleep well!

Cute story. :) Does she still plan that today?

Sometimes I feel like Cameron needs to make his decision now as to what to do when he grows up. A lot of his friends have already decided their career goals. Cameron's specifications so far are that he doesn't want to have to work weekends as he plans to still be part of a Civil War re-enactment group when he grows up. Other than that, he doesn't have a clue.

Just when do these things have to be decided upon? Life is so hard being 10....I'm glad I'm past that sometimes. :)

Amy, did you miss Jenny's post about pumping the vitamin C?

Hope you're all better really soon. Summer colds can either be very nasty or very short lived. Let's hope for short lived. :goodvibes

How's the weather down your way?
I already have Emily drinking her OJ and taking a vitamin. Hopefully, this will be short lived!!!

As for weather, it looks like Katrina is moving a little further West before she takes her turn North, so that's a good thing for us. We're very overcast, and I'm sure that we'll have bands of strong thunderstorms for the next day or two.

Ok, off to get ready for the day. School bus will be going by soon....that's the cue that the kids should finally get up! :) They don't know how lucky they are! :)

Hope you feel better soon. I never understood back pain until I slipped a disk. Really painful. I hope resting it now will prevent problems on the cruise. :goodvibes

Chocolate – white, milk, or dark? milk for me!

Toilet Paper – over or under? over.

Treats – Salty or Sweet? salty, except for that great Paol Chocolate Souflee!

Pop or soda? soda for this jersey gal

DVC Points – bank or borrow? both

Now that we know some of the special guests onboard, Who are you most looking forward to seeing on the cruise? Art Linkletter... but I would love to have Roy Disney... BTW, he just got on board the Eastbound Panama Canal Cruise! :goodvibes [/QUOTE]

Exactly one week from right now, we'll be our cruising altitude and heading to the world!!! :cheer2:

Amy, I'm so sorry to hear you guys are all sick. The silver lining of the cloud is you'll get it out of you systems before next weekend? :confused3

I feel terrible for those people in Florida who got hit bad by Katrina. I was watching Today and my heart goes out to them.

Six Flags--Yuck. Enough said about that.

No...she changed it to being a DCL kids club counselor and then going into a Disney show somewhere. Then it just became a Disney show, although she's not sure about acting now....

Because we thought she'd be in a professional play (her brother trumped her last fall and got a part before she did, but she was promised one) we changed our vacation plans. usually we travel to WDW early december, but with play rehearsals and shows, we changed it to September so that the two would not conflict.

Well....that messed up her OSU football game schedule. She's missing TWO games for this trip. (she loves the Buckeyes and it's special 1 on 1 time with dad!) So now she claims she doesn't want to go into acting b/c it was acting that goofed everything up this year!!! :)

btw, she is somewhat happier now b/c we sold our OSU-Texas tickets on ebay and were able to get 2 tickets to (away) OSU-Michigan and 4 tickets (away) to OSU-Indiana. Yes, we sold TWO tickets and were able to buy SIX tickets with the same money!!! unfortunately ebay doesn't discriminate and i accidentally sold my OSU tickets to a Texas fan....oops!

Do we know if Roy is staying in the Roy Suite? :rotfl2: I don't know why I think that's funny. Maybe it's still a little to early for me.

Oh my, I am an airhead. I totally misread this question!!! As everyone has been answering it "milk" I keep thinking "duh, yeah, what KIND of milk? white or chocolate???"

Ok, mark me down for DARK CHOCOLATE!!
