In one shop there was this guy selling flip-flops, but there was no strap...they "glued" to the bottom of your feet so you didn't get tan lines or anything. The guy was talking all about them and there was a manequin holding a pair. At one point the guy holds a pair out and says "go ahead, squeeze it." So I reached back and squeezed the manequin's butt....making my siblings crack up. Welllllll.....10 minutes later, as we're shopping in that store, and the guy at the front is still hawking glue on flip-flops....I see the "manequin" step down off the box, and walk to the back of the store. YES, the color of my cheeks very closely resembled the color of this type!!! Oh, and btw, glue on flip flops collect a lot of sand on the beach.

This is everyones first cruise so we are pretty excited. Any suggestions on what the kids should definitely do? Can't do to many excursions due to my youngest but I still want to make it fun for them.
Thanks!
That happened to me once! I was driving to Manhattan to pick-up DH from work. It was pouring a reall"gully washer" (as someone once said).HookdonWDW said:Hi!!!
On the way to pick up Sam from his Book of the Month (school club) meeting my driver's windshield wiper broke... not the best of times.

It was an interesting ride!
HookdonWDW said:Here in AL, most of the rainstorms we get are gully washers! DH and I were just talking the other day about how we missed northern rainstorms. I actually enjoyed driving in the rain back then. I could barely see out the windshield before the wiper broke. I ended up having to pull over and wait for the rain to slow down before I could continue on.
On the positive sign, this was just the thing I needed to make me arrange a carpool with another mom for the rest of the school year. I'm going to take all the boys to school, and they're going to p/u. Maybe I won't cry when I have to fill up my gas tank now.![]()
