I still can't believe that she posted on your thread!! What a JOKE!!! Whine, whine, whine. Like it was a personal attack on her and DCL did it just to mess with her vacation.

Ummm... didn't they??? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

OK, so my brother who never calls me, called and I had to catch up with you guys again!

I just read somewhere that the new Pooh Playground Spot is going to be open September 1st! :cool1: Something new for us to see in the MK!

Where's that going to be at?

Directly across from the ride, I'd expect. they've already remodeled the walkway past the ride to look 'woodsy'.

Ahhh, that makes sense!!! Emily loves the Pooh ride, except that she calls it the Heffalump ride.

Wow I go away for a few hours and it moves along and then some.

First, I point you all again at my favorite point for reliable tropical info.

http://www.boatus.com/hurricanes/tracking.asp

Right now it's still a tropical with 53 mph winds. If it makes cat 1 by the time it reaches the shore it will be just barely. Doesn't look all that organized and it'll probably fall back to a storm once it gets overland again. Hope for the best, there's still people with the blue roofs even this long after the last messes there.

And the game I play is more like VMK on steroids. I have quests but they usually involve puzzles or battles or some combination therof to accomplish them.

And yes, Imgettingtooinsane is still around unfortunately. She posts under a new name and is in WDW right now as we read, visiting with Verandah Man while her husband, the one who refused to wear pants for the cancelled cruise (only wears scrubs, because he's a lot more than just pooh sized), is in the hospital where he is recovering from removing a kidney due to cancer. The doctors told her 'he's cured' right after the surgery. Riiiight. Nobody is declared 'cured' right after. So off she goes to WDW while he lives or dies in the hospital. Every time I hear something about this woman I can't believe the further depths of insanity she can go to.

For anyone who don't know who we're talking about, she was scheduled to go on the cruise that got cancelled by Norwalk. She went ballistic, posting about how when she was put up in Port Orleans she'd go to guest services every night in tears begging them to remove the model of the Magic because it was depressing her. Who went on for an entire year looking for openings on the main cruise board to lament her lost cruise. And that is the teeny tiny tip of the iceberg with her. I could go on for literally pages describing how much I know about this extremely messed up individual, just from running across her posts when reading there. But I won't go and bore anyone with that.

Hey where did everyone go! I was out lurking - I could have saved myself 1 1/2 hours if I would have read Mark's last post :rotfl2:

I guess I will make it an early night too. Have to take dd to the doctors tomorrow for a chicken pox vaccine. I forgot about the letter the school sent me telling me she couldn't come back to school with out it. Since school starts Tuesday, I guess it's time to get it done! Another mother of year award for me :rotfl:

Hey guys - Madison woke up crying, so I'm waiting to go back to bed until she's definitely asleep.

Anyway, Mark, GREAT explanation.

Uhhh, there goes Maddie again. See ya.

Wow! Night time is the only time I can find to read and write on this board! Days are way too hectic trying to get everything done before vacation!

Do you have any pets? One dog, a sheltie, named Pippin (from Lord of the Rings) who is our joyful little sweetie

What was the last book you read? Hubby and I are reading KG 900, I just finished Sheba by Jack Higgins and I'm reading Munich Signature from Bodie & Brock Thane's Zion Covenant series. Is the Secret of Bees the Sue Monk Kidd book?

Do you like to cook? I love to cook, which is why I'm fluffy!

Are you good at cooking/swimming/etc? I'm a great cook (just don't mention the peanut butter rice carrot casserole I made two months after we were married!), I love to cross stitch, but have had to stop in recent years because the arthritis was making it a little too difficult.

Have you ever met a famous person? I've gotten a lot of autographs - mostly of Christian artists. When I was younger I got Grandpa Walton's signature!

What are your hobbies? I love to read, but am learning to enjoy riding my stationary bike because that's when I can read! I watch probably too much tv. I collect cookie cutters and paper dolls (second childhood?) and lots of Disney stuff!

What countries have you visited? Canada, Mexico, Bahamas

Are you a 'morning' or 'night' person? Since I'm the only one up - definitely night!

Which do you prefer, sunrises or sunsets? Sunsets - those are meant to be shared.

How many times did you move as a child? Here's where I separate from the pack - over 11! My dad is a semi-retired minister and we lived a lot of different places. Once I left home my husband and I moved another 9 or 10 times, but we're staying put now!

Are you a task oriented person or a people oriented person? Task oriented - have tons of little notes to myself organized in lists! I love to hear people's stories and sit back and observe - I'm trying to get more involved in my own life....

On the other chats today - I loved Constantine! He blew it on a couple songs, but he was the whole package! I liked Bo, too, but wasn't too upset when Carrie won. Wasn't a Fantasia fan and actually called in to vote for Clay!

Love the House series with Hugh Laurie - so flawed, but appealing. Love mysteries - especially BBC - not so gory as ours. I do like the criminal procedural dramas - my mom worked in law enforcement for a while and I love trying to piece things together - and love Numbers, too.

I have never been to Europe - only in my dreams. My folks went to Europe on one of those 31 countries in 30 days kinds of things in 2001 - less than a month before 9/11. I've always wanted to go and that's my dream vacation - hey, maybe with my million dollars!

Good night and morning all - Kristi

Ron Dougay!! Stacy, he was my ultimate crush as a teenager. I bet no one else has even heard of him! :rotfl: I had NYR season tix my 4 years in HS and I would take the subway into MSG every game early to watch them practice. I even got a signed puck from him!! I just thought he was super cool for not wearing a helmet!

All the ladies had a crush on him!
The Rangers used to practice at a rink in Westchester where we used to skate before they moved their practices to Rye NY.

Diana I have heard of Ron Dougay! My loyalties were with the Chicago Blackhawks. My favorite also didn't wear a helmet. Do you remember Al Secord? I think he and Ron might have danced on the ice together once or twice (trying to think of a nice way to say a hockey fight).

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

You don't have to be a child to eat like one!

DCL has some wonderful food and some very decadant desserts, but sometimes you just want something simple and classic.

Don't hesitate to ask your server for a Mickey Bar for dessert (off the kid's menu). They will be happy to deliver it to you. It comes in a bowl, covered with sprinkles! We find them to be a much better quality than the ones in the parks.

I've also heard you can order Mickey Bars from room service - now that is decadant :mickeybar

Awe, Mark, now we won't have anything to talk about on the cruise. :rotfl: :rotfl: ;)
