Sept 4-8 2005 Wonder S.S. Member Cruise! Part 2

Stacy can back me up here, we have no zoo, our museums are pretty crappy, or in a crappy area. There is a children's museum in Saratoga, that I hear is very good, but get this--they don't allow strollers!! So we'll never go there until the girls are too old! Trust me that double stroller is my best friend, and it's coming on the cruise, so make room for us! I just have no choice right now. Julia doesn't walk and Emma is too young to listen. Although I'm told they never listen, so I should just give up hope now!

There is some stuff around but not really for the littler ones.
I haven't been to the children's museaum in Saratoga either.
We should go together some time.

I wonder who their customers are?


Note to everyone, watch out for Diana after she drinks that $200 worth of konk kooler and is ramming that stroller up the back of everyone legs! Best to stay out of her way!

I know, absolutely bizarre. I mean, we've been to plenty of places that make you park the strollers for portions. Like at the Bronx Zoo in the butterfly place, no strollers, so you can't run them over. Totally understandable. But the entire children's museum?

Now, now, I'll only run over the people who don't keep my konk kooler glass filled up!

Gal , we do the application at our county clerks office. Which is exactly where we can get new copies of birth certificates. So we will be fine.
Sounds like the rest of you guys are budgeting WAY too much on bags. You need to budget more on RUM!

Sure Castaway Cay is all about fun in the sun, but what if you want to get out of the sun for a little while?

Here's the tip. Head on over to Castaway Jo's (also known as the Grouper Pavilion). It is a covered game room full of family fun. Shuffleboad, foosball, billards and ping-pong are all available. There is also a giant checkerboard.

This area at the far end of the family beach is often overlooked so is usually uncrowded. A nice way to get the family out of the sun for a little while.

Shouldn't we be getting another Cruise News before we sail? I think last time I remember that we knew about the entertainment (Andrea McArdle) and some other things before we boarded, right? I think DVC is SOOO mean for keeping me in the dark!! I can't handle the suspense!

Good morning everyone!! It looks like you guys had a fun chat last night.

I can't believe that a children's museum doesn't allow strollers, absurd!!

I don't have a budget, so keep an eye on me, otherwise I might go crazy spending money. (And, we don't have a ton of it either)

I can't believe that in just 2 weeks some of us will be on our way to WDW, or will be finishing our packing. We've been planning for so long and it's finally just around the corner.

Diana, we only had two updates before the last cruise so they are doing much better there. We did have one about two weeks before we sailed which listed the entertainment. Maybe we will get one more before we sail. Either way we know we are in for lots of fun. Face it with this group we could have fun even if Disney didn't plan anything for us!

After 6 cruises my favorite activity is still sitting on my verandah and watching the water go by. There is nothing more peaceful to me. Especially early morning or late night. A great place for me to feel closer to God.
