Boy, you'd think that if I put the same effort into cleaning my house that I put into these boards and getting ready for this cruise, my house would be SPOTLESS!! But, I just can't seem to tear myself away for more that a few hours. Ok, ok, minutes!!! :rotfl2:

I'm with you! I have SO much laundry to fold!! I'm going to finish the housework and then work on my door magnets! :bounce:

What about the window chalk? That comes in green. You could put Member Cruise or Bust on the back window.

I've seen a number of cars at WDW that have the windows decorated with it.

There ya go, that's what I need to look for.

....You're from Breezy Point? I have family in Breezy! Breezy is so tiny you must know 'em maybe?

NEW YORK PIZZA RULES! ::yes:: Nothing beats John's in the Village. I'd miss NYC pizza the most if I ever moved!

Back from work (BTW - TDS is my part-time job, I'm a full time Children's Librarian and former 1st grade teacher). The mall was dead. We didn't get the commerative $50 disney dollar yet. I'm all set to buy it :sad1: If I don't get it before I head to Orlando on 8/6 I'll just buy it down there. We do have a lot of new stuff (the summer is slow so I haven't worked in almost three weeks). I bought up a storm (yes, I have a problem!!!!! :earsgirl: ) I got some shopping done after work too. Body Shop was outta the cooling leg gel, so I'll order it online.

I don't knwo if we need to duplicate the scrapbook list, but if you want me to add it to the packing list I'm making let me know and I will.

Gotta go and get ready. My DBF is a volunteer fireman :firefight (paid police officer) and his fire company is celebrating their 100th anniversary w/ a formal dinner at this really nice seafood restaurant overlooking the Hudson and NYC skline. It should be fun.

I'm going to have to catch up on so many posts tomorrow. Ugh :upsidedow J/K

Scott,,, Now that you are a celeb,,(cough, cough), could you sig(h)n Kristen's disney autograph book? PLEASE, pretty please? :goodvibes :goodvibes
Bill
And I want an autographed 8X10 glossy.

Well we were wondering which celebrity DVC might have for us. Now we know!

I feel the need to cast my vote for NY Pizza, of course I've never been to Chicago, but born and raised in Brooklyn/Staten Island....I have to side with the NY!

I've actually been to Breezy Point, had a friend in high school who had a house out there, we used to hang out there all the time!

I see Scott is posting from home while I am posting from work...Hi Scott!

Nezy, back to your question several pages back on dinner seatings, we have decided that we like the late seating, because, although dinner is really late, we do not have to rush to get dressed for dinner after a day out at Castaway Cay, or another port. We used to feel really rushed to get ready for dinner when we had the early seating. Now, if we are running late, we go to the show in our day wear, then we still have time after the show to dress for dinner. If we have time, we will dress before the show. We are never hungry for the midnight dessert buffets, I guess that could be a good thing. But we do find ourselves eating afternoon snacks from Scoops and Pinochio's.

A question for the birkenstock and croc wearers...do the croc's have the same type of footbed that the birkenstocks have? I have neuroma's on my feet and the birkenstocks have a "neuroma pad" built in, so my feet do not hurt wearing them, otherwise, I need to add a neuroma pad to the shoe, or insert an orthodic, which I use in my walking shoes. Otherwise, I like the looks of the crocs, esp the purple ones!

Dan, it is good to see you on the boards! Give Angela our best, hope she is in better shape for the cruise!

Hi Lynn,

I'm a croc/birk wearer! The footbed in the croc doesn't mold to your feet like the birks do, if that's what you mean. They do have a footbed in them different from a regular shoe though. Check out the 'What Crocs Did For Me' thread on the community board. There are lots of people with all sorts of foot ailments who have found salvation in crocs. Those folks over there will probably be able to help you alot more than me!

Hey Mark, help I can not find the button blank thingie to use on a door magnet. I thought I copied it but can not find it.

Just heard on Fox News Vienna Hot dogs wants to challenge NY hot dogs, to see which is the best. I vote for Vienna, without ketchup for sure.

Heard the results on the local news that the New York hot dog won.

That doesn't all that surprise me. My actual fav hotdog is a local hangout one that's been around forever: Fluky's. Can find them in the sandwich meats section of the local Jewel.

Ok Scott(and anyone else that wants it), we've got four different varities of the logo for everyone to use(warning! these are big images):

Version one, the exact original one from DVC. The logo with the DVC logo still in the middle: Original Button(click)

Version two, made by Mary, a preformatted blank for a doorsign, It's the logo, with the DVC logo moved off to the sides of the preservers, the center is lime green, and it has www.disboards.com on the bottom. Our doorsign blank(click)

Version three, is the logo, just with the DVC logo moved off to the sides of the preserver. Logo, blank(click)

Version Four, same logo as three, but with lime green on the outside of the preserver, this is the actual button blank(click)

Enjoy!

Thanks Mark!! I was looking for a logo to have my mom digitize for her embroidery machine. We didn't get the t-shirts from Kay, because we couldn't get sizes small enough for the girls. So, I was going to have my mom make up our own family t-shirts.

Ok, I just got back from a trip to JoAnn Fabrics and found the coolest thing. I got a magnetic dry erase board with a lime green border. It's about the size of a piece of regular notebook paper, and it was only $1.99. I figured, what the heck!!!

Guess, I'm going shopping for something else! The embroidery machine! Jusr one more reason for me to want it more. Cruise shirts! I wanted it to be my Christmas/Bday present, but it may just be Christmas in July this year!!
