Happy Friday to all!

Today I finish up at work and go on a nice week of vacation. We are going to Nantucket for a week to visit friends who live on the Island. I will not have my cell phone and have a couple of good books to read for some serious down time. The DS probably will be bored, but we are hooking up with other friends who have an 10yr son. I am quite sure they will bond over legos, game cube and the vivid imagination all 9and 10yrs have.

We are all 1 more week closer!!!!!! We are getting so excited. Starting to get the little things that we will need. Got the shoe hanger and a fold up clothes basket. We all need to make plans for lunch one day.

We are leaving in 63 days for a quick 3 night cruise just to get a way from the kids for a weekend. Wish we had 63 days left!!!

Hope everyone has had a great week. With all the bad weather in Tennessee last week we are still picking up all the pieces and waiting for contractors to start fixing the houses that they are able to save.

New job is great...very busy so not too much time for posting, but it makes the days fly! Good for passing the time till I cruise!

I am now on my double digit dance for meeting up in Disney World with friends from our cruise last year...2 families from California, 2 from Florida and maybe some Texas folks! I can't wait!!!

Wow, Kim I do hope you had no damage done to your house. We heard about the bad weather you had on the news. Pretty scary!!! Nice to hear you are getting away with the hubby. A pre cruise, cruise... I'm envious!!!

I'm up for getting a bunch of us together for lunch. We should plan a meeting at the bon voyage party too!!! You know what is neet is that once the last bunch of us hooked up, we all kept running into each other on the ship. We even planned a group of us all going on an excersion together. It was awesome. We need to get going with excersions and get together plans.

Okay everyone I'm paying off my cruise in the beginning of May!!! Thank goodness for tax refunds!!

Betsy, so glad you are enjoying the new job. Once the dust settles a bit, we all hope to hear from you on the thread!!! Isn't it awesome when you actually like your job and the people. I feel that way about my job.

We are off to VA next week to visit family and then hitting WDW May 5-12 (I am doing the "Minnie Marathon"). Cannot wait to get my Disney fix!! Then it is home to pack up and move! LOL! Busy busy

We are getting ready to pay off our cruise too....thank God for tax returns!

So, where is everyone staying the night before the cruise?? We are still deciding....

Didi - we had High Tea on Sunday last year

It was alot of fun and perfect for getting together over tea and yummy sandwiches!

ok..I am going to Sawgrass Mills today..it is a big outlet mall here in Ft Lauderdale...they even have a Disney outlet store!! I got a Castaway Cay sweatshirt last year for $9!!! It was great for on deck in the morning!

We had minor damage but everything very fixable. Brother had more extensive damage but they will be able to move back in after a few fixes. Hoping for no more bad weather.

Just checking in and bumping us up from the 2nd page!

We will be out of town starting tomorrow until next Tuesday. Gotta go up to NC for the home inspection on the house we are buying and then on to VA to visit family for a few days. Hope everyone has a nice week and weekend.....
We are already counting down till the cruise! Cannot wait! It will be great once the 90 days hits and we can prebook stuff...make it more real

We are off to WDW on May 5, so that will give us our DISNEY fix until cruise time!

Tax returns are great, aren't they!?! We are paying off our cruise with ours too. So, when do we get to start making reservations???

Only 2 more days and then we are off to Disneyland for a long weekend. DS will turn 8 while we are there and I'm surprising him with a trip to Legoland -- he has no idea but I'm sure I will win the Best Mom Ever Award. Plus, I get my Disney fix. Ahhh......

Sounds like a lot of our fellow cruisers are moving -- my sympathies! I can't imagine packing up my house after I've lived in it for so long.

Just wanted to jump in on this thread. We are booked for the 9-30 Eastern. This is our first Disney cruise. My family includes DH, DD(9), and twin DD's(5). We are also going with my sister-in-law and her family and they also have 3 children.

It's been a long time since I first signed on. Had lots of problem with my DD and her broken neck and my Father in the Hospital then rehab and scheduling home care givers. Anyway We just got back from the 4/15 Magic, I've started a cruise report. Needless to say it was a Magical Cruise. While on board we booked the 10/07 to complete our B2B we're a little nervous about it by Thursday we about had eaten everything in site and were ready for some home cooking. But I want to do this to test the waters. With the price of airfare it seems the wise thing to do. DW thinks we should cruise for a week then go to VB or HH for a week. It's late and I need to read the whole thread and catch up. Hey Kammy & DiDi

Back from the week of vacation and threw myself right back into stress mode.

Hello to Cindy, welcome Newbie!! Looking forward to meeting you. Our crew consists of, me of course, aka DiDi DH,Bill and DS (9) Patrick. We are going with David, also known as kb1sex (pain in the butt BIL).

Gotta love the BIL, I got my deluxe Cruisng PassPorter for free from the man!!!! He's the man!!!

Hey Jokensten welcome back my friend. Soooooo, the cruise went well. I am certainly going to look for your trip report. Sending you a support hug.

Kamy, the count down is on for your trip. How big is your suitcase? Hhmmmm, can you please take me. By the way, we are going to Ron Jon's prior to the cruise. Meet up with us and party!!!! I promise to stay up til at least 8:15 PM, okay, really 9 PM is my limit.

Oh Angela, are you back yet from DL?

Besty, love the pics with the gals. High Tea sounds good to me. Do we have to hold our pinkies up when we drink our tea?

Got approved last night for a mortgage, now I have to get this lovely piece of property on the market and look for our new home. This weekend we will be sprucing up the joint. I don't know if I feel excited or if I need to hurl!!!!

I know most of you are verterans, so I'm sure you can answer this. When I pull up my DCL reservation, it says 6 PM dining. Now, that does really mean 6 PM or could it be 5:30, 5:45, or 6:15? I know that the times are staggered.

HEY DiDi (pronounced "die die" and not "dee dee"), we need to book airfare. Also call me about the St Martin plans.

Also, We are traveling with my DW - Kathy (DiDi's sister) & our 2 DS's (13 & 10). How could DiDi forget her sister?

Lastly, I suggest everyone check out the thread on the main forum about sharing your DCL obsession. It's great. Make this whole OCD DCL thing seem really normal.

We were confused to, but 6pm Dining time carries over to your whole rotation. Just as the 5:30pm stay on there rotation. I think they did this to cut down on the huge crowds wanting photos outside luminere's, at least that sounds good. Of course all our cruising plans hang on my DD getting pregnant. When is the big question. Our Feb 07 plans may go down in flames, have to move them to Jan. We'll surely know something by Sept. So nice being back on board with you guys. Did I tell you someone sent for green braclets and they were a huge success could spot each other a mile away, They were like 2.40 with shipping, had the date of the cruise, the ship and DCL on the bad spelled out. They are now mounted on our picture as a momento. Nine o'clock is the magical time for us too DiDi except for Pirate night we manage 10pm Just missed the fireworks on 4/15 cruise the allergies were kicking up, can you image that far out at sea?

Hello everyone and welcome to Cindy!! Got back from DL late Monday night (more like Tues. morning) and rushed into work - well, more like dragged my sorry exhausted tush to the office that day. Took the fam about 2 days to fully recuperate from the trip, which is today. We'll never do a "quick weekend" again. DH said 5 days during off season or nothing - how can I argue with that? We got lucky and had sunny skies most of the time -- I even got slightly sunburned, but it sure did feel nice to have the warm sun on my face.

Now, enough with distractions and let's get on with the cruise!!!! It is time to seriously start planning things. Anyone doing any excursions? Snorkeling? Stuff on your own? I think we are just going to wing it -- DH and DS want to rent jet skis at Great Bay Beach, but other than that we don't have anything planned. I want to try snorkeling, but DS and me aren't great swimmers, so we'll see.
