Hey everybody! I am glad to see more people booking. We sure wish we could do back to back but the kids start school the Monday after this cruise gets in and German schools do not let you pull them for vacations.
The last Med cruise and the WBTA sounded wonderful. My best friend, as well as other friends, was on it and I ended up posting his blog entries for him because the ships internet would not let him access the blog directly.

Right now we are very excited to go on a Celebrity cruise on basically the same itenerary leaving on 30 October. By this cruise we will really know this port I guess There is so much to do at each one it is nice to ahve more times in every one of them

Disney Sweetie--I think your kids will love Europe. It is a great place for them with so much to see and do It will be good to see you too.

Hi everyone and welcome to 2011.

We are still planning on this trip. We actaully did not do ANYTHING in the ports on the Celebrity cruise I posted about--Marika got her foot caught in an escalator at the train station two days before we sailed and was on crutches the entire time. Heavy rain, narrow, cobble stone sidewalks and crutches just don't mix well. So our round two of these ports will have to be THIS cruise.

I wish we were doing back to back but the kids start school he Monday after this cruise. The 2007 TA (eastbound) remains the best cruise ever in my book. We made some great friends along the way too. Did any of you from the recent TA meet Erik and Jason? They are some of my very best friends and I met them on that TA (I am posting from their house--a short visit in our 3 weeks back in the states for the holidays).

I am tigginthehoops DW! Very excited as this will be our first Disney Cruise, Can't wait for September. We have been officially recruited by our Cousin steamboat_will to Dis Boards, who didn't need to convince us too much to join him on this Med cruise! We love Disney!

Since no one else has jumped inand started keeping a rollcall, do you mind if i do? We can either have one page in the thread that I keep updating as more comes in, or i can set up a webpage for it (but I am not very tech savy so it will jsut be a simple webpage--nothing fancy with lots of links, etc).
I would also like to provide lanyards to all of us cruising (I should be able to handle that as a ift from jsut us if the group stays pretty small--if not, on previous cruses we have gotten toegther a "lanyard team" who all chip in to provide custom lanyards (much softer than the DCL ones) with mathcing nametags for the whole group (so we can easily spot each other and get to know one another onboard).

For roll call (and lanyard and maybe even Fish exteners eventaully) purposes can you all please PM me the following information (and I will post in into a post for now and if the decision is to go to a website I can move it over later):
DISname (or names--I see at least one couple with both peopel posting under different names).
First names of all in party (and ages at time of sailing if you are willing to share).
Where you are from
How many cabins totaly the party represents
and are you doing a B2B?

That is the type of thing that the roll call would be awesome for. So far only two people have responded though (I will put up the list of what I have tonight and try to get a website of some sort going this weekend).

In the interests of making everyone's luggage manageable, what we did on my last cruise was someone organized breaking the Fish Extenders up into smaller groups with one to two cabins delivering each day. If we did it that way, you would be looking at enough for 6 or 13 (figuring you are one of the cabins) cabins worth of people (I would suggest doing the two people per day since it is such a shot cruise--13 goodies is not hard to pack; maybe plan on 16 because if there is not an even number you just spread the extras out among the other groups). It might be that this group never gets big enough to even need to split up, OR we might get a lot of bookings closer to sailing (which happened for my May sailing this year).

Welcome to the cruise AND the DIS. It is nice to see more posts and more families coming along. I am glad to know you will be doing FE's Maybe I should add something on the roll call to indicate those who want t odo FEs--what does everyone think?

Thanks for offering help on teh website. I may well end up taking you up on that Honestly, I have not done wnythign about it at all yet. With so few people--and our entire family ill in the last couple of weeks I have just not bothered I will get there though. I will feel more like it once I quit running a fever.

I have to say that I think it is pretty fun that out of the 5 groups on the roll call so far we represent 4 countries

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news:
Our travel agent just informed us that DCL sold this cruise to a private company!

We do have the option to move our dates to any other 7 night MEd this summer at the same price and receive $250 per cabin OBC and they will pay change fees for any airfare already bought--it will mess with many of your plans though I was looking forward to meeting you all--perhaps some of us will get to meet on a different date.
