It is so much sadness and despair that I have to inform everyone that I had to postpone my trip til next year!!!
I recently lost my job and had to postpone certain things...like any type of fun stuff. I am so sad... I have set my new date for Sept 17th 2009.. I just hope I can get a job that paid me as well as my last one so that I do not have to cancel completely. I will be thinking about everyone who will be having so much fun!!! and praying for no hurricanes or any type of nasty weather! Everyone have a great time!!!!

I am also upset about Disney automatically changing my Palo reservations! We also had reserved the last night at 9:00 p.m. and now every other time is booked. If the prior post is correct, my reservation is now right in the middle of the Pirate Party! I have purchased a pirate costume to wear....which I do not think is included in the dress code for Palo!!! Hopefully I will be able to make a change once onboard.....I hope.......

You know, if Disney has switched all of YOUR reservations for Palo etc that means that they have switched all of the people that were previously on the night that you now have.

There are sure to be a ton of people (Not DISers) who had picked their evening for a specific purpose.

Therefore it only stands to reason that when you get onboard there are going to be other cruisers who prefer their original evening and time.

I'm thinking that there will be a lot of people standing inline to change their dining days and times.

So, I wouldn't stress too much about it. It may all work out just fine.

You are right about not worrying too much about the changes associated with the new itinerary! I am not going to stress about it. If I can't get another time for Palo, I can just skip it this trip! No matter what I am going to have a fabulous vacation and a wonderful cruise!!

Have you tried to give them a call to see if they can switch this? I think someone else was able to switch their Palo dining but they either had to call direclty or use the conact us function. With this situation, they may be able to get the Palo dining you want. And it is something you could do now instead of once you boarded. It may help ease your concerns.

i have a party of 9 i have to get in palo i really would not care if i missed it but all of my group this is thier first disney cruise but if we dont get in we will just have to rebook on board so we can get into palos next time

Me, DH, DS12 and DD9 will be cruising for the first time, but we are bringing our own big group of 18, also. Looking forward to meeting others on the Sept, 28th Wonder cruise!! We are cabin #7610

Welcome! Glad you all are joining in on the FE exchange. I also have a DS12 and a DD9, and we are traveling with group of 11 (I thought we had a big group til I saw you had 18!).

Hope you can make the 'meet' so maybe our kids can meet up. It'll be here before you know it!

We got a call today from our TA,
docs are in,
so I went by to pick them up.

Luggage tags for our land and sea are kinda aqua colored.
I had seen pics of yellow ones on trip reports (??)
but they have FRCH (port orleans french quarter?) and our cabin number on them.

I've been watching Accuweather.com for weather updates.
It looks like we might get a break from the thunder storms...
I hate to jinx us,
