Anyone else getting a little worried about all these hurricanes

Yes, I am, too I really hope that our trip isn't messed up by a storm, but there seems to be a pattern going. I'm in the midst of purchasing trip insurance--there's so much to look at and so much to decide on. I mean, how much coverage do we really need in each category? Do I want a $750 max for travel delay, or do I want $1000? Do I want $50K for medical, or $500K? How much will it REALLY cost if, heaven forbid, we should have to be airlifted off an island b/c of an injury?!? If I ask DH, he'll probably tell me we don't even need insurance I don't dare travel this month without it. I'm leaning toward a Travelex Plus package (can I say that? If not, just x it out, as you do, mods! ), but I've got to figure out if I'm estimating my trip costs the right way. So much to do, so little time!

We have our cabin number 2015! Alas we also did not get an upgrade. I will try not to take it personally and attribute it to the fact that there are only 3 of us. I am so excited that the cruise is less than a month away. We are flying in the day before and staying in a Fort Wilderness Cabin. We have never stayed there before. We will be staying at the WDW Swan for 3 nights after the cruise and will also be attending MNSSHP on the night we get off the cruise. It will be our third year at MNSSHP, but hopefully our daughter, who will be 5, will be able to stay awake for the parade this year. My daughter will be bringing her "Elizabeth" costume for pirate night. I can guarantee that I will be donning pirate gear, but I'm not sure about my husband. My daughter is also bringing her "Wendy" costume to get her picture taken with Wendy and Peter Pan. I ordered a personalized embroidered pillow case with Wendy on it from the same lady I got our fish extender from on ebay!

stop worring if we hit a hurricane well just drink more so we dont know who is swaying more the ship or us

I worry more about the Disney World portion of our trip when it comes to the hurricane. The cruise should be fine in that hurricanes travel so slowly that a ship can usually avoid them easily. It would be most likely to be an issue if it hit a port at the time we are scheduled to stop there...then they would just change the schedule.

We have 24 families (33 kids) but there will be more who might turn up to the meet who are not participating in the FE!

Have we decided that we can deliver whenever we choose (in other words will we 'assign' specific nights to deliver)? Since we have 3 cabins, I thought we might do one each night and spread out the fun. Hope that is OK!

Hi neighbour!

Is your son keen on going to the Oceaneer's lab? Because I have DS15 as well, DS12 says he only wants to go to the teen program. I think he is too young, I'm sure I read somewhere that kids could be 12 yrs and 11 mths and attend the teen program. But he will be 12yrs and 10mths. If your son is going to visit the Oceaneer's program then maybe he will be happy to go with someone else.

My DS12 is not too keen on the Lab either. He would prefer the Teen program but its not allowed. That is why I was hoping that if they meet up they may go to the lab together. Last cruise my DS would only go for video game time and the time that they allow them into the teen areas, and then only rarely. If he had a friend to hang out with, I think he might enjoy it more. I've already told him about your DS, so I'll bring him along to the meet.

The days are down wrong but the information is correct.

I just checked my reservation online.

That could really mess up someone who doesn't figure out the change before they leave.

We have our dolphin excursion booked thru Disney, so we are okay.

But what about those who book motel rooms in Nassau to be able to use Atlantis

JUst talked to customer service.

First, found out that our Palo reservations moved with the change in days. If you made reservations specifically for a certain day, you need to check them.

Second, they are not saying why they made the move .... "to enhance guest safety". It is too far out to predict hurricanes? My only guess is that they want that first day at sea to get the boat out of the way.

We have to change our Atlantis reservation, wondering if we should just cancel...what do you guys think??
