Oh, forgot to add that yes, it was a long walk to the front of the ship, and yes, you do feel vibrations, but we still really love being at the stern of the ship. Not everyone loves it though, you'll have to decide that for yourselves.

We are getting on the Fantasy a month from today so if I am totally focused on getting ready for that trip.

We are in 8682 this trip (one of the oversized cabins/verandas) full Aft this year and then 9674 Full Aft next year.

Yes, we were in 8188. Would have booked it again if it were available. I'm sure we will be just as happy right above you. I do have pictures of the balcony and the cabin. If you want to see them, PM me your email & I'll send them to you that way. I'm not at all good at posting pics here so it takes me FOREVER to do it, that's why I'd rather email them. BTW, I really hope you DO knock on our door at some point, otherwise I'll have to come knock on yours!

Same floor? Aft? Just curious, I promise I'm not going to come knocking on your cabin door. I'm sooooo excited about having a balcony this trip. Normally we save the $$ for other things but we will have a toddler and expect to spend more time in the cabin.

Yes, it makes us next door neighbors! Totally unplanned! We are in 9176. Doesn't sound like next door but since we are directly mid ship that's where the 2nd digit of the cabin #'s changes from 1 to 6. Looks like we will be taking over the stern of the ship!

Mareeld86, you're 2 decks directly below Renysmom. We had 7192 on our 1st cruise which is just port side of center on deck 7, you're just starboard of center on this trip. Puts you just above the flag so it won't bother you while we are in port.

Can you tell I took those pictures before we got our bags delivered? I wouldn't even let DH bring in our carry-ons before I took the pics! We're not really that messy, but I always take room pics first on arrival because I know the room will never look quite that good again!

Elizablake, glad your DD liked the pics, and thanks for posting them. I was trying to show the verranda size but it was hard to get the whole thing in one shot. The best I could do was to show one side.

I'm glad to see the countdown is under 1 year. Now all I have to do is finish paying for it!

I do the same thing - take pics before the family can unload. I have DH trained, we get in a room and he says, "Get your pictures done!" I love that man!

We're in!! Not officially booked till out cruise in dec for NYE (onboard benefits baby!!!) but I'm positive it will be me and the DH (celebrating out 5yr anniversary) and I'm trying to recruit my DM and her DH for their first cruise!! Btw I'm a dis junkie so I'm ALWAYS on here!! Got the iPhone app!! I may be quiet but I'm always watching lol!!
