So let me see if I have this straight...... Pack boose bottle:drinking1:drinking1 in checked bag for plane, Then somehow get ahold of said bag with boose bottle:drinking1 and remove said bottle :drinking1and put inside of carry on bag. However.... when your bag is checked you don't see your bag again till it's at the door on the ship, correct?:confused3
I've been packed 99% for 1 month now:yay::woohoo: Just have last min, items and whatevers.
I ,may just forget about taking the bottle all together. Too many confusing things to do.:eek:
Man now I remember why I drive all the time!:headache: I need a drink NOW after all that.:drinking1

I would skip bottle in checked luggage.
I would either buy one in Florida or wait until St Marteen and Carry on from Port

Just read in a note from my TA...no ATMs on board. Crud...I haven't the foggiest what the right amount of cash to bring is. I mean, you don't need any cash on board other than for tips for room service right? CC you don't need any I think?? So just whatever I think we'd need to buy in the other two islands. ACK.

My dh is the one not wearing a jacket to Palo. I'm not wanting to bring a garment bag. I'm trying to make this a simple trip! We're doing a transatlantic in the spring and I'll make him bring a suit then. My dresses are all washable, though, so we'll just get some downy wrinkle release!

As far as ATMs go, I'd bring like $40 in singles for room service and bring maybe $100 in cash for the ports.... credit cards are really the best way to go.

I'm going to pack a plastic pint of bacardi... not sure about dh yet.

Sounds like somebody is excited! :rotfl:

You are totally right. :) Besides that, enough ATM's on St. Maarten and enough spots to use your CC.

Well I got my docs yesterday, and my flight is leaving 40 min. later then I was first told it was, plus my mother is sitting by herself. My T/A said they should be able to fix this at the airport. I called DCL and they told me to call their air dept. today to see if they can fix this.

Budget just dropped several of their rates for MCO.

Trying to adjust mine now.

Their site SUCKS!!! :surfweb::scared1::scared1::scared1:

I am renting a car with Alamo and checked the rates again yesterday and it had dropped $15 so I redid my reservation.

Got FE gifts finished last night. Door magnets are done. Gotta get more motivated on the packing list tho....FE decorating will be this weekend. Gosh I have NEVER been this late in getting things done....:headache:

Just contacted Tracy at DU and she is going to transfer my TA for 2010 to the 2011 PC cruise.....one less thing I have to worry about while on the cruise!!! :)

How many people are going on the 25th to MNSSH?pirate: If you are going do you want to meet up someplace that night? I didn't know how to start a poll lol

I know we have discussed this before...but is anyones DH wearing pants, shirt and tie to Palos?

DH will be wearing a suit this time, but didn't for our last cruise. It was no big deal at all - - he wasn't treated any differently or (God forbid) turned away at the door!

Hey, I've got an idea--how about I stop on the way down and drop off my incomplete FE's and you and that awesome crafty hubby of yours can finish them for me??? :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Compared to what I have in store for him over the next few days, I'm sure he'd prefer helping you! :rotfl:

Just read in a note from my TA...no ATMs on board. Crud...I haven't the foggiest what the right amount of cash to bring is.

We're going to be bringing about $300 in cash. We'll need $100 for our ATV excursion, and the rest will be for room service tips and other incidentals. If it's anything like last trip, we'll come home with 3/4 of whatever we brought. :rolleyes:

Well, again with the waiting to the last moment, DH decided (on recommendation from the Boards) that we needed to buy some packing cubes. We got free shipping because we are Upromise members, and they are supposed to be here on the 17th. So, let's see, my FE and our packing materials are all MIA as of now. Talk about throwing ourselves to the mercy of the mail carriers! :upsidedow

Great news!!! DD5 got the all clear from her oncologist today! No evidence of recurrent cancer! We are so thankful! Now we can dive into the cruise fearlessly!

Just wanted to share the good news with the "online DIS family"

:cool1::thumbsup2:banana::cool1::love::banana::cool1::dance3::cheer2:

I sooo agree with fatcat on this one...there is an ABC liquor store just down the st. from the airport and another near the Port.

I just hit the bank today. I got all our money for tips and got 50 $1 bills for room service and porters. We'll have a couple hundred in cash for the ports probably, but that's it!

OMG how CUTE!!!!!

Thanks!

FE Question

Does anybody know what staterooms PenskeSth1 and DisneyNut64 are in? These are the only 2 left that haven't given their staterooms, I believe.
