Life here has really been crazy. Things changing all the time. I became a homeschool mom two weeks ago, and it seems as though I have fallen into a pit and cannot climb out of it. I am so behind!!!!

Can't wait till our official vacation starts!!!!

Hang in there, once you get into a routine and are more familiar with it, you will be fine.

I just called DCL to see what the cost would be to upgrade from to an oceanview and he quoted me something like $800 more (way too much for my budget!!!). Right after I spoke to them, I looked on the DCL website and the price difference was only $500. Does the DCL website have different pricing than when you call direct?

I also asked if there is a chance that I could upgrade at the port and I was told that it would be even more expensive there. From what I have read this isn't always the case, can anyone confirm? Maybe I've got the wrong impression.

I've never done the upgrade thing, but that does sound weird. I know I called our TA a couple months ago to see about upgrading from Cat 9 to a Cat 6 and it was $600.

Ok, have what I think is a good ? How do I go about packing a SUIT!? never done this before and need some help!

DH is putting his in a garment bag. Actually with all of my and DD's dressy outfits and DH's suit, dress shirts and pants, I think we'll be bringing 2 garment bags.

They are changing the Castaway Cay Club to add 3 levels. The announcement will be made on Sept 11th on the DCL site.

Here is a qoute from a disboards DCL thread the poster of this got the info by calling DCL:

"The 3 levels are:
Silver- 1 to 5 cruises-same gift-90 day window to book excursions, Palo, etc

Gold- 6 to 10 cruises- little extra gift (ex flowers or chocolates)- 105 day window to book excursions, Palo, etc

Platinum- 11+ cruises- little more extra gift (ex free night at Palo)- 105 day window to book excursions, Palo, etc

The Gold and Platinum members can book the Dream first!"

WOW - that's a very interesting move on the part of DCL. The 105 window is such a huge advantage. As if I needed more incentives to plan Disney cruises...

We are bringing a garment bag for DH's suit, DD's princess dress(es), and my dresses. It will be bulky, but since we drive down, we'll have the space for it in the car with no problem.

This is nice and I hit the Gold on this cruise. It would be really nice if they would take some money off the price of the cruise. I would be happy if they only took 1% off the cruise. (Ex. 6th cruise=6%, 7th cruise=7% etc.). I do feel sorry for cruisers booking Palo and they are only in the "silver", with cruiser now able to book at 105 days they may not even be able to book, since it fills so fast.

Wristbands are in, documents are being received, wedding in 2 days......all this means the cruise is just around the corner!!!

My family is on their way this morning from Florida, other family from South Carolina and Alabama will be on their way later today. Weather might be a little iffy but other than that.....everything is good.

Boss is back today from her trip to Thailand....she will be yacking all day and I just dont have time to listen today!!!

Between home schooling all four of my kids, and doing the books for my hubbys company, remembering to take the dogs in for their shots...since they can't be borded [which is another story ] unless their shots are up to date..and the shots will "expire" 2 days after we leave.. so we have to get their shots. finishing up my FE's, shopping for new shoes for all the kids and getting some new cute outfits for all of them. Finding out that one of our big luggages have a mice hole in it.. [dang us for living next to a leve] so having to buy a new one. Remembering to stop all our mail, along with a TOUSAND other things.. I haven't been sleeping at night.. just about fell asleep at Drama Ministry last night. UUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGG And to top it off I have called and emailed that stupid "Pappa Bear" tour place and have yet to receive even one tiny "we will get back to you later" call/letter. So now I have to plan/find something else to do in St Thomas. and on top of all of that...I think I am PMS'ing I should be with only 20 more days till we leave, but instead I am I hope everyone else is doing MUCH better then I am. I told DH that I need the suitcase taken out of the garage and put in our room so I can pack for the boys..that will take a few things off my list..and hopefully ease some of my stress, well that and a big

Killer deals on the 9/5 and 9/12 cruise though.

I could go for just under $1700 for 2 adults and my 2 kids including forced gratuity and all taxes. Magic Eastern Cat 6

For those doing WDW pre-cruise; watch the park hours closely! They already changed them for both MK and DHS the week prior. They also added some Fantasmic! shows, including there now being 2 on sept. 25th.

PS; if anybody is doing MNSSHP on the 22nd, be on the look out for my clumsy attempt to get a costume sorted out. It'll totally fit within the MK-scenario and is a nightmare come through.

Now, if the latter is because of my clumsy attempt to make a costume or the costume theme in itself.......... who knows!?
