Must be, because every time I log in there are dinners for 1-2 & high tea for 1-2, but no brunches at all....ever....

I'd like in on that!! Last week we mixed Rita's Italian Ice with tequila. The kids were so ticked off and just didn't understand why mommy and daddy weren't being good sharers.

That's pretty funny! Sounds like something that would happen in our house! We haven't "experimented" much with the snow cone machine yet, other than allowing the kids schools to use it. We'll have to have a summer bash and create some drinks!

Anyone ever try for an upgrade at embarkation and get one?

After playing rockband with so many other friends, we bit the bullet this past weekend and got our own set albeit the Guitar Hero World Tour version. We ended up just getting Rockband the game separately. Couldn't pass it up though...only $99 for the whole set up. The kids are hysterical. Not really diggin' the songs they are picking up, but I can't help but crack up at my 3 year old singing, "No.....Sleep..... Till Brooklyn". Gotta love the Beastie Boys.

I know they do offer upgrades if they are available, but we've never tried for one. It is worth it to ask. Sometimes they have signs up that say no upgrades, ship is full.

This rockband thing is sounding really cool. I'm thinking that might be Christmas this year for the kiddos. They love the karaoke here, but this would be even better!

My 8 year old sings "Roxanne." Talk about inappropriate (but hilarious)!!

Gotta love it!!! My 13 year old daughter is a huge country music fan, thanks to her daddy, but she also likes 80's music. It is so hysterical to see her bopping and singing to my "oldies but goodies" from jr. high and high school. Especially when she thinks we are so "old" but she is loving my "old" music! Go figure

LOL! I have a BabyHawk too. I LOVE it now that Matthew is getting too big for the Moby. (He is 18lbs6oz at 5 months). I am so addicted to babywearing...my entire family thinks I am nuts!

Yay I think Bailey likes the babyhawk b/c he's already 14-15lbs at 6 weeks old. Yep he's a big boy.

Grin, you evil one. I poundered a second if I were to post the 'a drink lightens most people up, it can be benificial from that respect' reasoning, but somehow I'm convinced that'll sign my DIS-coma if some have a say in it.


And all of those kids signing and doing fun stuff. Sounds like we should all put them together. Sounds like a heck of an entertainment group! No more worries about shipwreck or pirates entering, at least we'll always have entertainment.

I called. And they told me precisely what you all said. I can only see ressies for 1-2 because there are only 2 adults in my party. However, if I linked my ressie with another room making my eligible Palo adults # greater then I'd be able to see ressies for 3-4 AND 1-2. So no point in calling them to tell them you only have 2. You'd be able to see those ressies if they came available.

Also, the lady today told me she has absolutely no access to the ressie system. All she would do is walk me through how to access the Palo reservations online to see them.

FatCat: Those posts crack me up. People take themselves way too seriously these days. Everyone is so holier than thou. PS: They think you are satan himself.

Yeah, that thread is hilarious! A couple weeks ago I posted something on the transportation board about airline fees/tickets, and you'd have thought I was trying to scam the system from the comments I was getting!

Some people are just way too serious!

You ventured on to the transportation board? You are a brave soul.

Most of the regular posters over there (including at least one moderator) have tagged themselves with, "There is no love lost on the Transportation Board." Once I saw a thread over there from the main mod telling everyone to behave themselves while she was at WDW for a week. They are hard core.

A couple of times a month I go over there just for the sport of watching them bite peoples heads off.

I did not know at the time how mean those people were. I just asked a simple question, and all of a sudden, I had several responses (mostly from one or two people, including the one you described with the tag) where they were basically calling me irresponsible and trying to make me feel stupid.

My randomness for the night... LOL...

Can I have a quick run down on who everyone is? First names... where are you from? I feel so lost... like I switched highschools in the 11th grade and don't know a soul. From what I see so far it looks like we have a fun group!

And I just want to share with anyone who will listen. My oldest son is on contract to be a NAVY SEAL!!! He goes to basic on November 5th. I am soooo stinkin' proud of him and can't believe a kid that smart was made by me. Once I get my post count up to where I can post pics, I will post a pic of him with Matthew. He is a GREAT older brother and Matthew adores him.

Back to cruising..... I am really excited for this fish extender thing. It sounds like a fun way to pass the time planning gifts to give.

Oh and I got "fired" today. Our HR at work "thought" I could take an extended leave till Jan 09 and still stay on payroll, but she found out today that I don't qualify. Oh well. I was not sure I wanted to go back in Jan. anyways.

I just joined this group not too long ago myself, and I still haven't decided what I'm doing for the fish extender gifts. I have several ideas, but I haven't committed to anything yet. I need to get busy with that!!

Hey Lyndi!! I'm hoping I can think of something creative but useful for the FE. It also needs to be small b/c we are already going to have a ton of luggage since we are staying at WDW before the cruise.

I live in the 'burbs of Memphis, so maybe something Elvis related? Hmmm....

Well the thoughts of the Magic and beaches are getting me through this week. DS and I are both sick. We're headed to the pedi at 230pm since DS spiked a fever a little bit ago. It's not a fun week in my house. Oh and dh has a swollen eyelid possible a sty. I need Mickey to make it all better.

Bobbie, def check out our FB page and see the discussion I started about DIS name and real name. I was having such a hard time since most signatures don't have a real name listed. So most have been so kind to clear it all up for me there.

Well, I'm having a great day. I'm at the big waterpark by us with Paige (Corbin is at camp this week) and she is in the kiddie play area with my mom while I soak up some rays. Its finally HOT AND SUNNY here. It only took until the end of July to hit 85 here!!!! They were calling it a year without a summer!! At least I have the cruise to look forward to. It will extend my summer a little.

Ooohhh: woo hoo to me. Got all my FE gifts packaged, labeled and shipped to my mother in laws in Florida where we r staying before the cruise. This way no extra luggage to haul around. So psyched!!!! Now I just need Gradysmommy to come back from vacation so I can order my actual FE.
