Hey everyone! I haven't been on in forever. It's been a crazy time with being pregnant. I'm 28 1/2 weeks and have been on bedrest with pre-term labor issues since 24 weeks. And pretty much I'll be on the couch until 36weeks then they will let him come when he wants too. We're still super excited and can't wait for Bailey to take his first disney cruise.

I think I saw several people say they will be going WDW beforehand. We'll be at BCV from the 23 until the cruise. I think we're trying to go to halloween party that friday. Can't wait to dress up Bailey!

Ok going to go read about what I've missed.

Since we'll be taking DD out of school for the week, we will be driving down to Orlando on the 25th and staying at BLT. But, we are planning on attending MNSSHP that night too. I just bought DD an Aurora dress on clearance at the Disney Store and she's already asked to wear it to MNSSHP, but I hate doing that to her since the deluxe princess dresses are sooo pouffy. Since she's a thrill seeker, I know that we'll be on Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad all night. Oh well, I guess even princesses like to have fun.

Just so excited I had to share!!!!!!!!!!! WE have bokd our pre cruise Stay at Port Orleans Riverside. And The cruise is almost paid off. I'm getting super excited

Crystal, is it an idea to let TB wear her new dress for going trick or treating during the party and later on chancing her into something more.. durable for getting on the rides? It's a bit of a pain to drag along a second outfit, but I can understand her wanting to wear the dress and you about it not being a great thing for her on rides.

You seriously made me laugh out loud this morning when I read your post - "TB" - why didn't I think of that?!? Very witty, my dear!

As to the whole dress thing, she has turned into such a girlie girl. Yesterday, she dissolved into tears when she couldn't wear a dress to school - - can you imagine? So, if I let her wear the Aurora dress for MNSSHP, she will want to wear it all night long. My only chance in getting her into a second outfit would be to find something just as girlie and sparkley and flashy, and even then it would be a longshot. She's also celebrating her 5th birthday tomorrow - I can't believe it!

I bet you are doing the happy dance about your AKL confirmation - - and you are staying conceirge, you lucky girl! You aren't going to want to leave your room - LOL! I can't wait to be able to stay at AKL - I bet it is incredible!!

Can you sell it if you turn it around? First rides in a more durable outfit (pink, ribbons on it, go have a ball with a cheaper pink t-shirt and let her decorate it ) and than trick or treating as Aurora? Hmm, sure doesn't sound like I've got a 6 year old girly-tough-girl-sis, right?

I know, I'm very happy with CL! That's bounce back and 40% PIncode working for me. Am a bit worried that I don't want to go back after doing CL, but I'ld better worry about that afterwards. I mean, AKL, savannah view, CL, how good does it get!?

I'm here...just been busy at work. We are having some major issues with a new lease on our building. Long story made short, been at same location for 18 yrs, my manager quits, goes to competion (?) w/store records, contacts landlord offers more money for lease, they give them a lease if they get a license. Filed a police report on manager, being investigated...in other words, I may have to close my store, if that happens, going on this cruise might not happen

But, this may be a blessing as well, I'm taking the police exam the first week in May. I believe everything happens for a reason....our local sheriffs dept. is hiring 4 new officers. I have been praying that GOD would open new doors and I believe this is it....

I will keep everyone updated, I REALLY NEED AND WANT TO GO ON THIS CRUISE!!!!

Keith, first off, love the tattoo pics in your signature!! Second, I hope you don't mind some unsolicited advice, but here you go: I don't know about the laws in your State, but have you considered filing an injunction/TRO against your former manager? A court should grant a TRO given the circumstances which will have a twofold effect: (i) your former manager will have to return the company documents; and (ii) he should be restrained from taking any further action regarding the new lease. Also, have you thoroughly reviewed your lease? You may have a breach of contract claim against the landlord for not giving you proper notice before terminating the lease. I would also tell the landlord that you have filed criminal charges against the former manager - that may shy him away from further dealings with your former manager. If you have a state or magistrate court in your county, they are more friendly to pro se litigants and you should be able to file a lawsuit with very little out of pocket cost with a fairly quick fast track to a hearing. Either way, best of luck to you, whether it be continuing to run your current business or with the police academy.

Man, good luck with that one. I hate to see people cancel something they've planned for awhile. I know how that can happen.

You can give her 2 options to pick from; either not wearing it during MNSSHP or start MNSSHP of in regular clothes and doing some rides and than finish it off as a real Princess, wear the dress and go trick or treating. She'll probably like the second option better. You could even 'sway' her more by making plans together. Which rides will you plan to do first? What strategy to follow when doing T&T? Download a MNSSHP-map from 2008 and get creative together. She'll feel somewhat in controle, you get done what you think is right for her and it's simply so much fun to plan together.


I have IPO doing some shopping for me. Or that is; hunting down a very specific mug we bought my dad last year. He fel in love with it so much, he's already asking for a new one. So I send IPO a picture and they're going to hunt it down to see if it's still available and get us some. What's IPO? Sounds very cool if they deliver results like that. When we went in September, the one item that I wished I had bought was light-up drumsticks. DH tried to find them everywhere after we got back with no success. Thankfully, we were able to find them during our March trip, but that IPO sounds like it could have helped... Please, do elaborate.

Yep, Disney sure knows how they can get into your money. But then again, I knew that getting into this and decided this is going to be The Trip Of A Lifetime. So, that means of course a DCL cruise with a larger than life balcony, AKL, CL, birthday bash, some good shopping, well..... going overboard really. Hopefully not literally though. And for that, IPO is a great helpfull bonus!

I've come to realize that every trip to Disney is a trip of a lifetime - - Disney just does it right every time! (That's why we all keep coming back - LOL). Seriously, we're all going to have such a fabulous time! I just read that the Wonder is testing new menus. Maybe some of the new food will trickle over to the Magic? One of the new items is a dessert sampler with 3 mini dessert offerings. YUM!!!

I read the same thing! Sure makes me wonder if we'll have new menus by September also. Allthough I hope some of the things on the current menu aren't going to disappear. Did you see the DCL-food-thread? There's a great picture on there with a plate full of all tastes of gelato they offer at Palo. It looks like to die for!

You are right though, Disney is doing a great job all around. I'm a loyal customer after all they've taken care of on my trips.

And now back to business. Some stupid telecomprovider keeps sending us bills for my late grandfathers mobile phone. Never mind we've told them he's been dead since january, never mind even sending them the deathcertificate, they just keep billing us. Oh and get this; 'he just took out a year long deal in november, so we can not shut it down and you'll have to keep paying ma'm'. Never mind laws state they can not do this, they keep trying. So I'm on the phone as we speak, just gave them 24 hours to take care or else. We've got a great system of watchdogs us consumers can go to in these situation and they scare the bliep out of these companies. So, now they're frantically trying to get things sorted out. They'ld better!

Thanks for the advice, I have spoken with the the officer handling the case, he told me this is fraud and he has to "THINK" like a defense attorney to make this case stick...

The only problem with the landlords is my lease did run out, but I told them I would sign a longer lease if we could get the payments right. So, they put it on the market and got no takers. The "for lease" sign came down over 4 months ago. My lease expires on March 31, but they called and asked if I would go on a month to month until we work out something, 4 days later I get a letter from their attorney saying we have to be out by April 30. The new tennets have to get their lic. approved, (they did not want to miss a month of rent)I did go to the Comm. meeting to voice my complaint, but it was just the first reading, they will "vote" on April 12. My problem, I do not want to wait and see what happens, I have another location I can move to, but it will not be as "profitiable" (sp?). There is alot that can happen before then, I'm going to wait until April 2nd to have the "BIG GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SALE" I do not want anyone to think it's an April fools joke, we have been here 18 yrs.

I'm hoping to get a call from the DA's office, if that happens, then they will put the lic. app. on hold....

Awwwww, Hon, that just makes me sick! We are starting to get reports of companies doing that here in the States as well, particularly credit card companies continuing to charge interest and late fees. I wish you the best of luck in getting it all straightened out.

Well, it definitely sounds like you got some great people on your side, and it sounds as if you've got a game plan in place if the authorities aren't able to help.

Keith, as Crystal already said; sounds like you got a good game plan. Hopefully when April 2nd comes around, you'll find yourself not having the sale but have an almost boring same-old-same-old yet another business day. One of many many more, fingers crossed!


Doesn't surprise me that companies in the US are starting to do the same, Crystal. Some of these large companies seem to have no scruples or something. Like they're thinking 'people are to busy with grieve and doing all the other stuff, they wont notice another bill and pay us' or something. At least this situation has hopefully been put to bed. The telecom provider has credited 2 months of payments, as a 'sorry-gesture'. We would've been in title to about 1.25 months, but if you ask me this was the least they could do. Now let's wait and see if they try to send us another bill for April.

On a more fun note; I've ran into the cutest little handy FE-gifts! Little, but by the time you get enough for all of the FE's, it's a pretty large bunch of stuff anyway. Thank goodness for 2 suitcases.
