The FatCat is going to be on this cruise I believe.

Was just on the 9/27/2008 two calls to Castaway Cay.

I was on the 9/22 Western in 2007

So for all of you who seem to do the end of Sept. cruise I may know some of you fine folks already

Should I go ahead and add you to our list or are you still trying to decide if you will be on this cruise? Hope you will be joining us!!

Thanks! I will be updating the list. We are starting to get a large group so this cruise should be lots of fun. If anyone has any ideas on group activities, just let us know.

On some of the cruises I have been on, there have been...Mickey Bar Eating Contest, Jammie Breakfast, Scrapbooking, Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, Wine and Cheese Meet, Cabin Tours. This is just a few things I can remember.

hello all ... just wanted to quick post to introduce ourselves. we will hopefully be joining you on this cruise next year (pending my DS passing 2nd grade with flying colors ) Will be me (DW 35), DH (35), DS (will be 8) and DD (will be 5). This will be our 3rd DCL but the first 7day .

I have read some of the posts re: group activities and sounds like fun! I'm sure the kids will be thrilled to wear PJs to breakfast . We have a fe too!

I also just wanted to maybe put a new cause out there for all who don't know: September is Childhood Cancer awareness month. We know that we don't get as much publicity as breast cancer in october but certainly a worthy cause. (my DD is recovering from kidney cancer - feel free to visit her website in my sig ) There are lots of t-shirts created by kids with cancer and their sale benefits cancer research. check them out at www.curesearch.org

Anyway, we are looking forward to our 4day dcl 11/30/08 and so forgive me if I'm kinda scarce for a while

That sounds great. We just need to make sure what the copyright laws are so any wording or pictures that we use are allowed. On the recent 5 night cruise I think someone made a design and some people just copied it onto their computer and were able to use it on transfer paper to make their own tshirts.

Welcome to our growing group!! As you can see on pages 1 and 9, we have a roster along with some activities that we plan on doing. It is all still in the planning stage, so any additional ideas that anyone might have are welcomed.

Hi all thought I better get over here and intro myself... I too am one of those Double dippers that booked this cruise while on board 2weeks ago (Hi Jen, Maggie, Chris and Paul... did I forget anyone?)

We had intially booked this as a "dummy" date as dh and I were going to push it out to the 11day med cruise. But after a long conversation, we rethought it and figured it was hard enough getting our boys to tour the Grand K there is no way they will want to site see in Italy and such... SO your now stuck with us LOL as we ventur into this eastern itinerary!

Introductions...
Me- Drea (OCVP, obsessive compulsive vacation planner)
DH- E (Elbert, everyone just pronounces his name wrong so I keep it short for that and well cuz im lazy LOL, US marine, has now embrased my planning and the DIS.. you wont catch him on here but I catch him reading over my shoulder LOL)
P- Phoenix ds #1 will be 11 on this cruise
J- Justice ds #2 will be 7 on this cruise

we are in room 2626 (Hoping for that upgrade again guys to the walt suite since I didnt get it last time LOL)

Totally up for F/E again we had a blast with them, But I told E I will not go overboard (literally) like the last one.. so yall need to help keep me grounded LOL.

Secret Mickey was also fun. Im more then happy to help with either of these as I was incharge of it last time so its still fresh in my mind LOL. Also in for whatever else this group has planned. Lanyards were also a fun thing... great for the 1st timers too Like us!. Plus its a great way for everyone to notice other DIS'ers from our group!

Alright off to finish unpacking.. were still living out of suitcases all in my room. Not FUN! I would rather be PACKING again. Oh well guess in less then a yr I will be.. sooner then had anticipated.

Cant wait to "meet" everyone!

I am hoping all you smarties can answer a ? for me. We booked our 9/26/09 cruise when we were on board 9/14/08. We got the on board credit of $200 I think, but I have heard of people saying if you switch to DU you can get more on board credit? Can someone explain this to me? How do I switch my ressie? Thanks in advance to the advice. The 9/14 was our first cruise so there is a lot for me to still learn. We were on the Wonder, btw and had a blast. I am trying to catch up on the thread. Hope to chat with ya'll later![/I]

We sure are a growing group here!!!

I havent had the time this weekend to do much... spent too much time on the lake practicing for our last race of the year. But it is getting colder and looks like I'll be draging out the dive boots soon!
So I cleared the calendar this week for some computer work for the group magnets.

hal001... checked into your site... found some items I may want to buy for the cruise. DH could always use a new tie for semi-formal night and I have a dress that could use a beautiful scarf!!!
