Sept. 26, 2009 Magic

The BLT pictures look awesome! Personally I'm still a huge fan of BCV. Epcot is our fav (well use to be now with Bailey that might change). Plus we love not having to uses the buses as much to get around. It's such a nice walk to Epcot and DHS. But I would love to stay at least once at BLT. My dad is the DVC member and we're going again with him and mom in December. Right now were in Saratoga b/c that's all we could get. We're on the waitlist for BCV or BWV. Crossing fingers we get in.

The walking possibility to Epcot and DHS is exactly why I'ld want to stay at one of the resorts in that area. Fingers crossed indeed that you'll get what you hope for before december comes around. Great to be able to go back so quickly. :thumbsup2

No, actually we'll be doing 3 nights at BLT or BCV (only 2 days at the parks) and the 5 night cruise on the Wonder, with 2 stops at Castaway Cay. If I recall correctly, the 7 night choices were pretty sparse for 2010...but maybe they were just too point expensive, so I didn't even try. We're going to book our cruise portion while we're on board in September, so I'm hopeful we'll get some sort of stateboard credit or something...but, with DVC, I'm not too hopeful I'll get any discounts...they've already got us. :rotfl:

Then, for 2011, we're going to be shooting for either staying at Hilton Head for a week in the summer, or going to Disney World for the 2 weeks at Christmas!!

Yes, I'm lovin' this DVC thing I got myself into. :goodvibes

As you should be! :rotfl:

Of course, why didn't I think of that? :headache: I know the 7 days are far and few in between next year due to the European specials, sjeez. Double dipping, nice choice!

I actually joined DVC at AKV but backed out prior to closing when I learned they did not serve Patron at the pool bar.

The DVC-rep. simply didn't know who they were talking to. If they had known you're THE FatCat-FatCat, they would've told you there is a special supply to be made for FatCat.

I love hilton head. We've been going since I was little. My dad had a client near there so we always went with him. It's such a great island.

And I just noticed you're in atlanta. Where at? We live inside the perimeter but my whole family is out in Loganville and Dh's family is in Tucker.

We're in the burbs of Douglasville, but I have the extreme pleasure of commuting into Midtown every day.

WooHoo.

Just got Free Flip Flops at Work

You know, I should show DH your post...he refuses to believe that men can actually enjoy wearing flip-flops. I'm buying him some for the cruise, but my guess is that they'll stay in the suitcase...where he believes they belong. :upsidedow

Oh my I can't imagine doing douglasville to midtown each day. Thankfully I work at home most days but once a week I have to drive to my office in loganville (work for my dad). I use to leave at 6am just so I could get out there by 7am b/c there is no going aginst traffic on 285. :)

And men can wear flip flops or at least my dh wears these http://www.rei.com/product/734200 If you notice they have a bottle opener on the bottom of them. It actually has come in handy when we were at a party at a park and no one brought a bottle opener.

Ah, always a pleasure to look at recent Navigators. Thanks for the heads up! First thing I noticed is there no longer being a staggered dining time at the Magic anymore either. Knew they did away with it at the Wonder, but hadn't read it about the Magic yet.

When is the dining time?

1st and second now that it is not staggered?

I always had the hypothesis that this kept Kids club check in/out and elevators congestion down.

I second you on the latter, although purely based on my common sense.

The navigator mentioned 5.45 pm for the first and 8.15 for the second dining.

Yeah, my only saving grace is that I only work three days a week - - Wednesday-Friday (of course, we're gearing up for trial on the 17th, so my poor self is going to have to work a full Monday-Friday for the next 2 weeks. Boo-hoo. :guilty:

Those flip flops are always the hit of the party. Dh wears them ALL summer and I'm sure he'll have them on during the day on the cruise.

Is it just me, or is my prediction that this will be the first cruise-meet-thread that'll have it's own flip-flop uniform? ;)

They have not combined them yet though. :confused3

One style has the bottle opener
One style has the flask

They need to make one with both. :cool2:

Or Buy two similiar pairs and wear one of each. :teacher:

We can have our own little flip flop matching service.

New topic on our facebook where we can post which style one has in which size. Got the bottle opener in size 6, looking for the flask in size 6. Switch one flip flop with another cruiser, and now 2 cruisers have both styles for the price of one.

FatCat, that saves them how many drinks instead of having to by 2 pairs themselves?

I just updated page 9. Have another addition to the FE list and also a cat 9 cabin has been added to the cabin tours. Let me know if there are any more changes that I need to make.

Not long now!!! :cool1:
