Try just "copy link" - I think that's what I did. I hope that works!!! click on the mountain at the top of the message box and paste the link in there. It worked for me from Snapfish.

Does anyone else get nervous about this time before a vacation??? I worry that my kids will get sick and we won't actually be allowed on the ship. We're flying out on Monday and, of course, my asthmatic has started hacking up a lung. We're going in to the dr tomorrow to make sure all is well and getting all his prescriptions renewed. But, it all makes me nervous!!!! I won't be relaxed until I walk through those Mickey ears (do they have those in LA?).

Thank you!!! I don't find out until November 18th, so I'm in weird "graduated from law school but not a lawyer yet" limbo until then. Congrats to your friend! I don't want to take the bar exam EVER again - it really does take over your life!

Technically he took it twice... the first time he was asked to leave because the sound of him vomiting was considered "distracting" to the other test-takers.
Oh I do not miss school. Well I'm crossing my fingers for you! Great time to take a vacay as once you are an official lawyer you will ridiculously busy.

Hey, we are in AG/Five Cities...where are you guys?

We are in AG too. Near the village. Where do your kids go to school? I'm sure we've passed each other dozens of times... this is a tiny town only a couple of grocery stores and one-and-a-half-theaters.

YES!!! I completely worry about this. Actually, I could live through a little cold, however, I am stressed he will break a bone or something weird like that so we've cut out crazy things (like our recent weekend fun of a homemade go kart down a huge hill which ended in bloody knees) until we get back. Also, we were initially going to do the cruise first and Kauai second but I thought if we got Montezuma's Revenge or another travel bug I didn't want it too kill our Hawaii trip too.

Hope your little one is feeling better!!!

My 8th grader is Rebekah, she's into acting/drama, reading, anime/manga (she draws quite well!), and video games (most recently MineCraft and Eden Eternal , an anime based multiplayer world), as well as games on the Wii and XBOX 360 (better than I!)

She's very adventurous; she went with us on the "Outdoor Adventure" our last cruise and really loved the zip-lining.

How wonderful! My DD13 is Madeleine and she loves acting/drama too. In fact, as I write this, she is at an audition for the musical No, No, Nanette that her theater group is doing. Though she'll get on stage and sing in front of hundreds of people, she's not adventurous enough to do ziplines or roller coasters!

Lol. I am so glad I'm not the only one! We actually had a child break his arm while sledding just a few days before our cruise last year. Our dr was great and gave him a cast he could use in the pool!

Stop stressing everyone although I know how you feel. This is our first true family vacation. We have done 2 trips back to the UK though, once when DD was 22 months then again last Christmas when she was 3.5. She caught a really nasty cough at Christmas and we were flying to Norway that morning from the UK so had to go to the local pharmacy to see if there was anything that they could do, but no. DD was a trooper especially as we were over during all the extreme snow (which she wasn't particularly fond of). It was too cold and she could barely walk in all the clothes she had to wear. Born and raised in AZ she has been spoiled. Otherwise we have been to CA twice but always rent a condo. This is our first true vacation where I will also get time off. Admittedly I will start the stressing the 48hrs before that I have left all the relevant info for our housesitter too.

Jennifer I am keeping my fingers crossed. Have you got airborne for the flight or have you been Rosing up on vitamin c in readiness (that is what we tend to do before our UK trips) 1000mg!

Yup!!! We've all been taking extra C for a week. Also extra D and elderberry! Got it covered. Now, I'm wondering if I should pack all those vitamins for the two weeks we're gone. That's a LOT of vitamins!!!

Did you get the cast that could go into water? We were so happy that our ds could swim! (He was more excited telling people how he did it! Such a boy! He was sledding down the HUGE sand dunes on Lake Michigan and fell off a "cliff." Crazy boy!)

So I am laying on my couch too overwhelmed to get up.... I don't even know where to begin. This is my final weekend before we leave and I haven't done a thing except ready the beast of a bag of FEs. Sooooo... we may be nude for 2 1/2 weeks but darn it there will be the FE!

Luckily Fed Ex just dropped off some clothing I ordered online. Yeah.. I shopped in stores for summer clothing too late. It rarely gets too hot here so you can really do short sleeves/jeans/capris almost all year so I don't own a ton of tanks and shorts. Kauai gets ridiculously hot/humid and I'm imagining Mexico to be the close though I haven't gone this time of year before. (Or maybe it was just an excuse to get more clothes )

My DS has a fishing addiction and is convinced somehow he is going fishing during this trip (or off the side of the cruise ship)! Frankly, fishing is torture for me so I am fighting this with all my might. I got lucky and he was invited to go ocean fishing tomorrow so I am crossing my fingers this will give him his fix for the next month... I am being highly optimistic. The only fishing excursion I saw on DCL would be $400 for the two of us and isn't open on the short Cabo day. For anyone who has been to Cabo recently, would there be other options for fishing at port (for about an hour rather than the 5+ hours of boredom Disney wants me to endure)?

I had to buy a new bathing suit last week when my old one got a rip in it! Yea. That was HARD!!! All the summer stuff is gone! I finally found two pieces that matched in my size at Land's End (on clearance even!!).

And, we'll be the other nude family! We leave on Monday (at 4:30 AM!). I just started the laundry this morning. I've been setting things aside for the last couple weeks, but I really need to get on it! I finally tried on some of the clothes I was thinking of taking and had dh take pictures so I could see what I really look like in them. So, I've narrowed down my options a bit. Now, to fit it all into a carry-on!!!

Okay. It happened. We are taking my ds11 to Urgent Care in a little while for an xray. He and ds13 were jumping on the trampoline and ds13 landed on ds11's finger. He can't move it without extreme pain. And, it's been an hour and he's had time for the Advil to take effect. I would wait a little bit, but we leave MONDAY!!!!!

Yeah... we had quite the traumatic (child-type-traumatic) morning. Apparently he was up at 4am willing the thunder and lightning away. I woke up around 5:30 when the house shook and thought the roof was going to cave in from the downpour. That was quite the freak storm. (We never have thunderstorms here). We got a call around 5:30ish saying the fishing trip had to be canceled. Saddest face I have seen in years. Looks like I am on the hook for some sort of fishing on this trip... maybe I can try to find someone in Kauai who will let me snorkel on one side of the boat while he fishes on the other. Though that may be traumatic for me as he is catching the fish I am feeding.

We had a storm like that last night too. The lightning was spectacular. It was still raining (as in POURING) this morning, which really threw my morning off. I do my long runs on early Sat monring and I really l ike to finish early. Didn't happen today!!!

That is too funny! Madeleine played the part of John, the Chinese convert, in Anything Goes this past June. Her wig included a long braid down the back but we had to pincurl her hair for every performance. She was delighted when the director agreed to let her have a mustache so she would look less girly. I'll have to figure out how to post a picture. Madeleine was very excited to hear Rebekah liked acting too.
