Sept 25, 2011 Wonder - Mexican Riviera

Bumping this up to the first page so we don't have to scrounge at the bottom!!

Glad your coming, and who is joining you? And yes...I elect you to start the FE list. A BIG THANK YOU.

I have two secret port hole rooms. But still hoping for an up grade.
KImberly

It will be me, my DH Mike and my DD Katrina.......in the other cabin will be my DD Leissa and her DH Charlie.

We took a very quick trip to Walt Disney World last weekend and went to Magic Kingdom. My sister lives right outside of Orlando and has just been diagnosed with breast cancer. She came to spend the day with us at Magic Kingdom along with her DH and 2 of her kids. I have some pictures on my facebook page if you want to see them. (Pamela Copeland Watts)

I will get the FE list posted soon. Let me know your room numbers, who is traveling with you (names and kids ages) and if you are doing a fish extender.

Looking forward to meeting all of you soon!

A couple days ago we switched our cabin to a GTY because I love to roll the dice (I never actually gamble, I just like a bit of extra mystery with my cruising). Also, moving from an 11B to 11C (ex-category 12) saved us $120. We just went to Europe a few months ago and are taking another trip next week so we are doing this cruise on the "cheap." (Who am I kidding? We will use all the money we "saved" on the ship and on excursions.) This will be our first cruise in 8 years without a window, balcony or suite. We'll survive... right? We live near the beach in California... I am trying to reason with myself that I see this ocean everyday... I'm not missing out on anything special :rolleyes1 (this logic isn't really working... but maybe if I chant it "mantra style").

I imagine we'll be without a room number for awhile but I'll keep you posted for the FE as we get closer.

Welcome aboard!

Sorry to hear about your sister. She is in our thoughts. So wonderful you were able to spend some quality time together at Disney! Those are always my favorite family times.

Well, we just added another night at the VGC for our stay at D'land after this cruise so 5 nights total there. We were planning flights home to MEX yesterday and I realized I had some Alaska Air points that could be used for a late-night flight (11:20 PM). We decided we didn't want to check out of the villa at 11:00 in the morning and then just "hang around" for the day so we booked an additional night so that it will be a relaxing last day of pool/spa/food before we have to head to LAX that evening.

Not only are we getting excited about the cruises, we're now starting to think of restaurants in the area that we've missed and NEED to get to all the way from Hollywood down to City of Orange - include our favorite DLR spots, too!!

There never is enough time, is there?

Just got back from a relaxing 7 days in Cabo. The timeshare we stay at is on Medano Beach and we get to see all the cruise ships as they arrive in Cabo. We'll be back there in late February and will be taking pics of the Wonder from our balcony!

Weather this time of year was absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait for our own cruise down the MR and stopping in Cabo.

Just a *bump* note but I am expecting all of you repo cruisers to still be ready to party on the September 25th cruise! Last cruise I did was after a TA (we did not do the TA) and everyone was tired and whiny when we got on. There were tons of complaints about having to eat the cruise food again, seeing similar/same shows, no one showed up to the alcohol tastings, no one participated in the activities... it was like showing up to a party after everyone was ready to go home... or going to a depressing nursing home. I'm not a wild girl (at least not in many years ;) ) but I like my fellow cruisers to be positive, excited about cruising and ready for some adventure! It's a tall order... can our repos handle it? :cool1:

Never held back yet! We're on!

We booked our pre-cruise stay @ The Doubletree in San Pedro today:yay:. Booked post-cruise stay at Villas @ Grand Californian at the 11 month mark, all that is left is flights and Disneyland tickets. Anyone know how Long Beach airport is I have only ever flown into Burbank?

Bumping us up again.....

How many of us are on Facebook? :surfweb: I was thinking about starting a page for our cruise so we can get to know each other a little better. Whatcha think??? :)

I am banned from Facebook. I took a photo in a museum in Barcelona and Facebook said it was indecent (not me... the art). I tried to appeal it a few times but gave up. My status was set to private too... the only reason they noticed is because I changed a setting and someone at Facebook had to look into my account.

That is crazy!!! :headache:

What does bumping up mean??

And I am so excited to go!!!!!!!
