pssst.....deanna if your artistic we could give Ingrid body art via sunscreen application for her to show all her friends back home

Yes Ingrid we can locate a feeding tube for you but you will need to be awake to use it.....How about you lay on your back, asleep, and we can set up a schedule so someone comes by every hour and pours your nourishment in your mouth??? :rotfl2:

Ok I got to go to bed,
See ya all tomorrow
One day closer :cheer2: :cheer2:

I've been working for Trendsource for about two years. I do Kroger-owned grocery stores, Blockbuster, occasionally Staples or Best Buy. A friend signed up for ......?? I can't remember the name - Service something - based in Canada. She does lots of fast food restaurants. With three kids, it's a cool job to have. I like the flexibilty.

Hey Deanna,
When you are spraying me with sunscreen, can you hook me up to a feeding tube too? I bet that chocolate souffle will have just the right consistency to go down very nicely.

My ear is hurting like a sun-of-a-gun again. Maybe it's just nerves and tension. Maybe I need to dig into my DH's muscle relaxants...or maybe something stronger.

I found this great travel journal for kids! I'm printing it out right now and putting it in a scribbler for Channi.

http://www.themouseforless.com/downloads/kids/journal/journal2.shtml

I'm just soooo thrilled that the teacher cooperated and allowing Channi to actually treat this as an education experience! (and also one less thing for me to worry about) She will learn about geography, and travel..and of course, the most important educational experience...exactly HOW many Mickey bars CAN she eat in a day?? :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar :mickeybar

Yes, Girl Guides is like Girl Scouts up here in Canada. Actually, it's rather funny though, because we have Boy Scouts here in Canada, which girls can join if they want to, and they have Girl Guides, but boys can't join it. Whoohoo (Wahoo!)..now that's GIRL POWER!

Ingrid - I printed this off for Bailey a couple of weeks ago, put it in a folder and we're ready to roll. The teacher didn't say we had to do it, but I thought it would be a cute kind of keepsake for her of the trip. Gettin' excited!

David - You reminded me I need to get my change turned into bills. Woo-Hoo! One more thing to do!

Didi - Way to fight that sleep! Right now it is 12:40 am your time and I'm sure you are sawing logs now that the carry-on bag is safely in your hands again! :goodvibes

OK - So my husband is SO not like me when it comes to planning. Today he calls me at home and asks me if I know of a place that can "let out" his suit pants because he's pretty sure they don't fit him anymore. Well, needless to say, I shrieked. But now I'm pretty much ok. So what if he doesn't have pants for formal night. right?

Didi- GASP! You will never make it. You probably have your DH posting for you. And you are REALLY in bed snoring away! (and giggling)

Okay east coasters, it sounds like we will have Didi right where we want her for the morning. She is gonna be a little groggy from the "late" night. So now's your chance to get that early post win! Come on now! You can do it! Kick her while she's down!!!!!! Uh, sorry, the competitiveness is coming forth again!

Have a good night. I'm sure you are zonked by now, Didi! deanna

I win, I win, I win...... :cheer2: :cheer2:

Didi

Still sleeping Deanna and Kim? :rotfl2: Rise and shine. :sunny: Gosh I feel like a mac truck hit me, I'm going to need to pop some more of those Chocolate covered expresso beans again. ::yes:: :hyper: :hyper:

Julie, I had my DH try on his shorts, pants and shirts last night, if they didn't fit in the garbage bag they went for the homeless. I made him promise to go the Big & Tall Store today to get some shirts. He has really long arms and can swing like a monkey. :rotfl2: He's not to happy about going to the store but I laid down the law around 11:45PM last night. pirate: He'll need those shirts for the formal and semi formal night.

IM SO HAPPY I FOUND MY BAG. :cheer2: In it I packed one extra outfit for all of us, and undies of course. This is my carry on. I made the mistake of not doing that on a trip to CA, and waited three days to get my luggage.

I've got to get some coffee now, I hope I don't fall back to sleep. ;) ;)

I win, I win, I win. :rotfl2: :rotfl: :teeth:

Didi :wizard:

I saw that DiDi already posted this morning when I got up at 4:30 so I decided to read and do my laundry first. I think she is cheating with an alarm clock!! or this is her late night bathroom run. But I am going to wait until she not looking some morning and WIN :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I will have to check with her DH to see if she went to bed last night :cloud9: if not she is disqualified. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Today is the company cookout don't really understand it they are haveing Wes Ribs deliver and it will be dished out in the conference room so :confused3 :confused3 where is the cook OUT :confused3 :confused3 oh well at least I don't have to pack lunch and I get to wear jeans.

Dpicard9 - great pic

Went over the trip with hubby last night, don't think he lissened so tonight I will give him a test at dinner.

Back to my Laundry now. then to work.

I agree with Marsha. That must have been her middle of the night bathroom break! I smell a cheater in the house!
Deanna (sorry, Didi, I just hate to lose!)

Julie, Your DH sounds so much like mine. Eventually I KNOW I'm going to have to pack for DH, because he won't even think about it until the night before. And then he will be in a panic because he does'nt have something he wants to take. And then we are hopping in the car making it to a store five before closing. A week ago, I asked him to take one of his old red sweatpants and cut them up for pirate's night. They are STILL sitting on the dresser..untouched.

ok..so NWA has gone bankrupt. Is that going to affect our flights in anyway? How does this bankruptcy thing work with airlines? Boy, did I ever pick the wrong airline! Actually, it was'nt me..it was my TA.

Dennis

Hey guys. Go grab a six pack of Sol...it's quite tasty and will get you in the Cozumel spirit. Sadly, it's not cheap either but it's festive! :drinking1

Marsha and B&J's mom - I can't take it...I need to go shop! I will go to Old Navy today and see if I can find an XS or 3T for Lora and a 6ish for Bailey? I think they came in 4/5 and 6/7...I'd hate to get one too small for her. I'll let you know later today how I made out. I'm on the hunt for some inexpensive accessories to stretch the outfits that I'm packing.

Tonight...Back to School night for DD, Meredith. After that, hem some pants for DS, Spencer. I think (?) I have all the ironing done. Just need to try everything on to see if it still fits. Can you add me to that drop 5 pounds prayer???

NINE DAYS!!!!

This is what I have to say to those hurricanes.... :earboy2: STAY AWAY!

Well, here's an answer to my Stingray question...

"They're starting with onboard bookings. It's unknown if that's how they're always going to book these, but for now this is the plan.

The Magic will have onboard bookings beginning this Saturday the 17th. The Wonder will begin on 9/22.

The price is $35.00 ages 10 and up, $29.00 ages 5 - 9. Children under age 5 cannot participate and children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

The session lasts one hour."

I'm wondering if we'll be able to snoop around and do this without snorkeling with the rays in the lagoon. That would freak the kids out but I think they'd enjoy watching them.

Good morning everyone! I caught up on yesterday's posts last night, but I was too tired to post. Just before I fell asleep, I was telling DH about the "new" DCL dry dock stuff(thanks to MKUsmile). He said that sounds really cool, maybe we'll have to book another trip! You know, I was thinking, it's kinda sad, I feel like you all are such a neat group of friends, but DH doesn't know any of you.(except for Bill's weather report) Of course, he doesn't post on the boards, and I kinda fell like this is my territory, if he starts reading, I can't talk about him! :rotfl: So I thought maybe, I will print out all our posts, and read them to him as we drive to the cruise.(What a novel) Of course I would skip all the parts where I wrote anything about him that wasn't glowing! ;) What do you think?

bpicard- you are going to have to beat the girls off that boy when he gets a little older. He is so handsome!

Marsha- at least there won't be flies, heat, and ants to contend with at your "cookout".

Okay everyone, guess how much money I saved DH yesterday? :rotfl: I went shopping for jewelry for the cruise. We have a Claire's outlet in Foley. They had a 10 for $5 sale. Oh my, I had a sackload of jewels when I walked out of there! Lots of stuff for the girls, necklaces, hairbows, picture frames! I had a great time!

Well, I need to get the little one dressed for preschool. She says she's not going.....but I have a hair appointment today, so she IS going! :rotfl2: She still cries every Tues. and Thurs. when I take her. But she quits within seconds of me walking out her classroom door. But I'm still feeling the guilt. After the hair appt. I going to sit with Briley while she eats her lunch, I refuse to eat that nasty school food, and then off to work the uniform distribution at the church building until time to pick the girls up from school. So far we have helped with uniforms for 127 families displaced by the hurricane.

gilesfamily- so glad the Chantels teacher is not giving you a hard time. I was just about to post the mouseforless journal link to you when I saw that you found it. Briley did 5 pages of language last night, tonight we will work on her makeup spelling assignments. Trying to get it all knocked out before we leave. Hope the wedding plans are going smoothly, and that your ear is feeling better!

Check in later!

Good morning all!

Well, it's official now... Season's definitely into 'getting ready mode!' :rotfl:

I came home from work to find Season had dragged out the 'big red monster' (our giant cloth-sided suitcase that scares the folks at the Southwest counter) and laid it in its usual 'time to pack' spot in the corner of the bedroom. A quick look in the bathroom confirmed it, as there was already a travel back full of our 'trip toiletries.'

She's also been inspired -- okay, okay, so have I -- by a picture of someone's cabin door from a previous cruise, with all sorts of pictures and such. She picked up a pack of magnetic paper on the way home, and I've started working on the pictures.

Alright, time to get back to work... but not before:

1.) The "No Hurricane Dance" -- :cool1:  :cheer2: :dancer: :thewave:

2.) The "Show Me The Passports Bounce" -- :jumping2: :jumping3: :yo-yo: :hyper: :jumping1: :maleficen :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Hello everyone!

Oh my goodness, I slept until 8:30 am this morning. It's almost 9:30 now and Jack is still sleeping! :cloud9:
***

ok, he's up now! :goodvibes

***

Ingrid - I have seen that article somewhere. It's pretty amazing! How are you feeling this morning? Hopefully you'll get in to see the doctor today. It seems like ear and tooth pain are some of the most unbearable pains to have. Hope you are doing better. Oh and I am leaving all pants problems up to him to handle. No matter how much I want to jump in there and physically force him to try on the pants, I will NOT. He will have to get it figured out on his own. I am being strong. :bitelip:

Didi - Good morning! (I know, I know, I'm severely tardy :teeth: ) On my first cup for you!

bpicard9 - Wasn't it you who asked about distributing everyone's clothes throughout all of the bags? I think it's a great idea, I just need to do it! I have pack a pair of undies and a change of clothes for the kids in my carryon. I remember last time with the wipes and dipes, I had them in every bag - just in case!

Marsha - Have a fun "cookout"! Don't forget your sunscreen! ;)

Jamie - If you see a shirt, something around a 6 should be fine - thanks so much for doing this!

Dennis - Is work going ok?

Later! :sunny:

Ingrid,

I'm flying NWA too--it's the only airline that sservices Duluth, so I dont have a choice. I'm on their e-mail list, and I just received, no current flights will be affected. I think most changes will happen later, but we should be ok in the short-term. So far, my flights have not been changed at all :sunny: :flower:

Good luck :goodvibes :goodvibes

Thanks smilingmouse. I read the e-mail too. But I have a somewhat of a "mistrust" problem with huge companies. Of course they are going to say nothing will be affected because they don't want everyone suddenly cancelling their flights. However, I will try not to worry (yeah, right). :rotfl:
