I'm sorry to hear about all of your and from those lucky Castaway Cay members.

You guys are so lucky to have been on a DCL cruise before AND you get to book early!! To quote a movie character: "How Wude!" Can anybody guess what my kids have been watching on DVD? (Sorry but it's not a Disney flick) I have to wait 2 more weeks!!!

RE: Magnets - I was going to pick up one of those dry erase boards with the magnets attached. This way we can send/receive messages to family members & fellow DIS passengers.

I've been checking out some of the threads on the door signs too. I have a question for those that have kids. Are you going to put your childrens' names on the door sign? I'm kinda paranoid about anyone just walking by and knowing the actual names of the occupants in the room(Especially my kids names). I don't want to sound overly paranoid, but it did cross my mind. Not that I would leave my children in the room unattended at any time. They aren't old enough to handle that. Any way, I just wanted some others thoughts on the matter.

I've also done the Cribbage on MSN & YAHOO under KB1ESX. I don't remember which I liked better. Anybody know any other sites? I'm taken to practicing on my Palm/Phone & on the PC. If anyones gonna whup Didi, I'm going to do it for the family honor!

Were both submarine excursions not available for Grand Cayman? If I remember, there were two offered. (Seaworld Explorer and Nautilus) I was also planning on booking a sub ride too. Oh well. Plan B was if Plan A (the sub) was'nt available or all booked was to book something through Captain Marvin's. I was thinking the glass bottom boat tour to butterfly farm.

Hubby is finally taking an interest in the cruise and it's so exciting now to be able to share the plans with another member of the family! And I'm glad I did my research cause now I sound really smart. (tee hee) Bascially, any questions he has about our trip, I have an answer for him! (and if I don't, I make up a somewhat intelligent response) I just hope he does'nt remember..cause otherwise he will be telling me "hey..I thought you said......"

DD6 does'nt really have a concept of time yet, so the only questions she has is..how much longer?

Just checking in before I take off again...
Taking the nephew halibut fishing tommorrow so we are headed down the road today. He does not do 0500 very well.

Hoping to land a 100# or up. Give him a good story to take home with him. PLUS - halibut is running almost $10/lb!!! Chrystina loves halibut ~ bringing some home makes me a GOOD hubby!

Anyhow ... we're off ... so behave, be safe, be happy. Cya in a few days!!!

Southernmouse is trying to arrange a business trip for her husband to come to South Alabama, just so we can have a sign making party! I bought some Disney print kits at Big Lots a long time ago(long before we decided to cruise) and I think they are really going to come in handy! I would love to see anyone elses signs that they finish for our cruise, or for past cruises. Of course with the location of our rooms on the cruise ship, I'm not sure that anyone will be seeing them, unless they are lost! Southernmouse and I are in the first rooms forward. Maybe some crew members will see them. I'm not really sure what's in that gray space on the DCL map.

Well, I have got to get some serious laundry done today. DD9, and DD5 are leaving on a cruise with their MiMi(DH's mom) on Thursday. She's taking them on the Carnival Holiday that leaves out of Mobile and goes to Cozumel (my children will get to see it before me, how fair is that?) They were last minute replacements for other relatives that backed out. So we've been cruise clothes shopping in a hurry the last couple of weeks. Of course after they leave I will only have one child(not counting DH ) for four days. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with myself! DH wants to go puppy shopping while the big girls are away. He has always wanted a Sharpei, I'm not real keen on the whole idea of one or any pet again. We've been dogless for 4 years, and I'm not sure I'm ready for one more thing to have to take care of in this house. But, he has poisoned all of the children against me(just kidding), and they keep telling me they want a Sharpei too. So I'm getting guilty mother syndrome for not letting me children have a pet! Of course we all know who will end up caring for this lovely new four legged family member, don't we? Well that's enough complaining this morning! Hope everyone has a great day! Erin

The Seaworld Explorer and Nautilus are semi-submarines, but they got very high ratings in the Passporter. I think they both got a 9 out of 10. Bailey was excited to go on a submarine that completely goes under the water. The Atlantis Submarine does that so we booked the one in Cozumel at 2:35 p.m. (we wanted the one in Grand Cayman, but you know that story) even though it only got a rating of 6 in the Passporter. So, to answer your question - yes, I think they are still doing the Nautilus and Seaworld Explorer tours.

Dennis - Good luck with the fishing - hope you get a big one!

ErinC - How exciting for your kids to be able to go on a cruise twice in a year! I'm sure they will have a great time. I know what you mean about the dog situation. I would love to have a dog, but I am just not ready to have a third child to take care of! When the kids get bigger I'm sure we'll get one, but for now, I'm not ready yet! It would be so hard for me to look at puppies and not actually get one, though. They are so cute!

bpicard9, what a cute sign! I've been trying to think of what I would like to do for one, but haven't come up with anything yet. I'm hoping to work out that trip to ErinC's house so that some of her creativity can rub off on me . I also like the idea of nicknames on the sign.

bpicard9 - Your door sign is great! I have started all over again after reading more of the door signs thread. I have some really cute postcards from our last cruise so I am using them. We will see how it turns out.

David - It feels good to have the cruise paid off - in a way! It made me feel like it was at least a little closer to time to go.
