Finally got in. Site is VERY slow but got our Cabana Massage for 10:00 and Palo on Tuesday at 7:30. Kids are signed up for the club and I'm off to bed. Mission accomplished.

I got up at 4:00 and checked and it said the site was currently not able to make ressies. But at 7:00 I was finally able to get mine and Southernmouse's Palo ressies! Yippee! I'm going to register my kids for the club after church this morning(if I'm still awake!). I figure not a huge rush for that! Good luck to the rest of you. I had problems a couple of times and had to close the window and reopen and start over. They must be busy this morning!

Morning all..Boy am I tired!!! Here is a tip for those of you who will be doing this in the next few days: you may need to do this in Internet Explorer rather than Netscape....it took me 20 minutes to figure this out last night, so I didn't get to bed 'til 2:30 am....

I suppose now when I get around to trying to make reservations for something, they will all be full. Guess I will take a look-see here in a few moments. Everytime I have tried to use my reservation# to access the DCL site, I can't get in. It has something to do with having made the reservation through DVC.

Did I notice that someone "confirmed" the Latelys Dinner Reservations were successfully linked? Did it give any indication on the Dining Room Reservation?

SmilingMouse - When does Palo's have a brunch? Chrystina would like that. Perhaps ... Have been to Palo's before ~ Very nice change of pace.

Unfortunately, the Disney reservation syatem is down for the moment (I didn't do it, honest). I believe days were offered. I'm having brunch at 10:30 on day 3, tea at 3 pm on day 6, and dinner at 8:30 the night we are in Key West.

If anyone wants to join me, I would love to have company....

Congrats to those who were able to make their ressies! I still have 15 days to go Hope there is still something left to book.

I can't see myself staying up until 3 am to make ressies when it's my turn. ...........Bah! Who am I trying to fool??? I'll be up!

It still looks like our cruise date is available for most categories, so maybe our cruise won't be fully booked. That gives me hope for a better chance!

yes the Lateys are confirmed as linked . Didn't indicate the Dining Room Reservation.

Brunch is on At Sea Days - Monday and Thursday. We're booked for Thursday and have babysitting already reserved

Well, for all that stayed up all night ... It just took me about 5mns to make all my excursion reservations ~ ~ No Mess, No Fuss, No Lines!

Chrystina is still thinking about Palo's Brunch ... I think she is weighing it against a quality assurance survey of her pillows. Well, I guess the honeymoon is finally over now.

bpicard - Try as I may, I cannot locate the "linked reservations". Perhaps I cannot see it because your reservation# is linked to mine??? However, I believe you ... So it should all work out.

Time to wake the "rented kid" up and take him fishing.

I hope everyone is happy with their online reservations. I hope you all took naps today to make up for the loss of sleep. Good grief. I hope we don't have trouble when we get to online book. 15 more days for me. Everything good will be gone. I am so jealous of you Castaway Club members!

I was also looking at that Xcaret thing. Wow. It looks great. It makes me want to reconsider. I think that cave sounds like a great experience.

I am still reading and reading and reading my Passporter I received in the mail. I am about 1/3 done with it. And to be quite honest it hasn't given me any information that I already haven't learned from this board. So to be quite honest, I am disappointed in it. This board is just so informative!

Is anyone making a cool magnet for their door? I'm not sure exactly how to do this. I need to do a search on the main board. Will Kinkos copy something onto a magnet for you? Or how do you do it?

I would love to have Barney on Wednesday! Thanks for the offer.

Dennis- loved the picture of the cat. I love cats. It is funny on the post. Because the way you have the pictures lined up on top of each other, it looks like your cat is staring at that big fish in your hands.

Love the picture from the Giles family. It is so exciting as now I don't have you pictured as a man.

Julie- the formal night outfit is so fun! Did you find that online? Surely you didn't find that in Kansas City!

I am extra impressed by the dedication of those who stayed up so late to get reservations (especially ErinC's since she so graciously made my reservations too !!) I was at my parents house and couldn't bear trying to do all that with dial-up internet

Didi-I'll bring Barney home with me. I'm sure my cat, Keypha, will love him.

Julie-I've been meaning to tell you, I have a Baylee, too. She's 20 months old. Maybe I will get around to adding her picture to my signature one of these days. I couldn't see your picture of Jack's outfit (my crazy computer picks and chooses which pictures it will pull up ) but I am sure it is super cute. I am so addicted to shopping for Baylee, I have to keep making myself not buy too much too soon for the cruise. ErinC and I bought her 3 girls and my 1 matching dresses for formal night. They are so cute!!

Well after a weekend that consisted of one wedding, one fellowship meal after church, and one bridal tea, I am pretty sure I gained at least 5 lbs this weekend. Must hit water aerobics hard this week!!

CujoBugs - The picture of Socrates was taken not long after Chrystina decided to turn him into a "house cat". Previously he had free roam of the outdoors in Alabama where he brought back all sorts of interesting things. BUT unfortunately, he also got very sick - so after a VERY expensive rehab, Chrystina decided he would stay in. It would appear to me that Socrates is simply expressing his opinion of that. Good news is that he has a deck where he can "sunbathe" in ELP.

Hi everyone! I am happy that everyone has made all of their reservations. Wasn't early Sunday morning crazy? Let me tell you what was going on with me. I, like SouthernMouse, was at my parent's house. They not only have dial-up, BUT they must have about 500 billion viruses or something on there because it was literally 7-8 minutes to bring up any page on the Disney website (and anywhere else). AND, I was in the tiny bedroom that Jack was sleeping in from 11 to midnight trying to be quiet and figure out what the heck was going on. So, right as I decided I was going to go to bed and stop trying, he wakes up, and says "Hi, Mommy!! What are you doing?" Like it was time to wake up and party. Luckily, he was fine going back to sleep. I got up at 8:00 am. the next morning (9am Eastern time) and called Disney to make our shore excursion reservations. That's when I found out that the submarine excursion in Grand Cayman ends after the Sept. 10 cruising of this year. Luckily, there is one in Cozumel we are going to do, but that means we can't do the Dolphin Encounter through Disney because they conflict with each other due to the dolphin encounter's time length. Plus, I had a big beach day planned in Cozumel. But anyway, we will make it work. I was just disappointed for a while, then I realized that we are just lucky to be able to go on this trip in the first place. We will still have a great time! Anybody have any ideas for what to do in Grand Cayman??

Sorry this has been so long. I just got back in town last night and this morning read up on everyone's posts. Sounds like everyone got what they wanted! That's great!

Southenmouse - I love shopping for cute clothes for Bailey and Jack. It really is an addiction. I just bought Bailey a dress on Ebay for formal night. I am so excited to try it on her!!

Deanna - I know what you mean about the passporter. I have been reading these boards for so long, I knew almost alot of what was in the passporter. Oh well, that doesn't keep me from reading it all of the time anyway! Oh, and no, I didn't get Jack's captain outfit in Kansas City!! I got it on Ebay...I can't wait for it to get here!! Poor kid, I'll have him in it 50 times before the cruise! So cute!

Given the metal doors, some people like to decorate their cabin doors with magnets. (May make it easier to find after a pub crawl )

anyway, some are elaborate, some simple. Here's one from the main board that I thought was cute.

Deanna - I was wondering about the magnets, too. I meant to ask on here a while ago if anyone else was making them. I kind of started working on one, but it is very poor quality!! I'm not so good at stuff like that. I know the basic idea of how to do it and then print it out on a sheet of magnet paper. I am just embarrassed about how mine looks so far.

Dennis, Deanna is talking about door signs for the cruise. The doors are metal so some people have made door signs out of magnet paper to put on their door. They are used to show other DISer's that you are from the boards and to just help you find your room better! I have seen pictures of some really good ones on the main board.
