We had a great Thanksgiving except for the wonderful VIRUS that 3/4 of our family ended up with! Eeeek! Oh well. Hope eveyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Wow! It is so nice to be missed! Thanks for the email, Julie. I didn't realize there was such an important question being unanswered! The truck is black and silver. Now can you all sleep!? You all are too funny.

Kim- I can't believe she knocks your tooth off, then tells you it will be several weeks before getting it filled. Something strange about this scenario! Have they ever heard of customer service? Sorry to hear about your woes!

We also got a new dog. It seems trendy to either get a dog or a new vehicle on this thread. So we did both. I wanted to be popular with you all I guess. We have a beagle also. Wish me luck.

Julie- I just watched the video of our stingray excursion this weekend. Lori was at our inlaws and she brought her tape. I hadn't seen it before because I didn't purchase since my kid was the screamer! Lots of good shots of ya! We kept telling all the inlaws that was our buddy! You should move to Hollywood!

We still haven't decided about RCCL or Disney for next vacation. I wish someone else could make the decision for me!

Yea, Deanna! Woo-Hoo! We love you! We miss you!!

Silver and black, huh? That sounds much more manly than hot pink. We are actually looking at possibly getting a new car. We need something that has 3rd row seating, but not a minivan. Any ideas out there? Our current top choice is Toyota Sequoia - I love the silvery-blue color!

Good luck with the beagle! Would love to see a picture!

That's so funny that you watched the dvd from grand cayman! We bought it (of course ) just for the fact that I loved the shots of Bailey not being in the water during the WHOLE trip. Money well spent! What a fun time!

Deanna, finally.... just as I was going to send out the troops to find you... Black and silver, I knew it was more than one color! Congrats on the Beagle, Oh I wish you would have asked me about this purchase before making it, I could have tried to warn you! Shall I take pictures of all the holes in my backyard? Shall I take pictures of the chewed up stuff at my house? Be sure and keep all garbage cans and dirty laundry (especially the underwear) out of reach of your new family member. Lilo's residence at our home is still under consideration! Hope you have better luck than us.

Well I'm off to look for Briley's lost library book. She was in tears this morning looking for it! Maybe Lilo ate that too!

Poor Lilo! He's getting such a bad name! Holes in my backyard- well- since I have 10 acres, I don't think I'll notice them. He will mostly be an outdoor dog. Thanks for the warning about the laundry! Maybe if I get behind on my laundry, I'll just feed it to the dog. Then.....laundry's done, man!

I'm so glad I was missed. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Tee hee.

Julie: I did survive, but its always an adventure. I won't go into the whole backwards and upside down story. Needless to say I asked my SIL NOT to bring her "unexpected" additional passenger back to my house on Friday .............

Yeah Deanna's back . I would really like to hear how your Beagle experience go's. You too Erin. That is the breed we are considering for our next dog......WAY down the road, but have heard they can be difficult to say the least.
I will PM you my address..Although your making me a little sick getting your cards out this soon.....

Julie: I will give you a vote for the Seqouia. Thats what I got last year and I LOVE it. I REFUSE to drive a Minivan. The blue is the color I wanted but it wasn't available, I got the champagne brownish color instead. Sorry to hear you all got sick. Hope it was short lived.

Erin: I'm with you shopping sister . I was up at 3:30 Friday morning........

See, I told you so!!! And that 10 acres, can you say "sinkhole" ! The girl at Petsmart that teaches the obedience training suggested that I put a swimming pool in the back yard and fill it with soil, then bury toys and treats for Lilo to find! Yeah right! I'm doing good to make sure my 3 kids are dressed and fed, let alone make sure that my dog has toys buried for fun in the backyard!

Kim, step away from the beagle puppies, and no one will be hurt! If you really want one after Deanna and I tell you all these wonderful horror stories, than I will crate Lilo up and send her to you.

Ingrid - What do you mean, you don't have anything significant to say?? Popcorn kernels in the teeth is a very serious problem affecting millions of movie-goers each year. It needs to be brought to the public's attention!

Deanna - I KNEW it was you stalking me!!!!!!

Boy, all these great dog stories really make me want to go out and get a puppy! I think I'll wait until Jack doesn't let me pick him up and carry him around anymore, then I'll get a little lap dog to carry around in my purse. Then you all can call me Paris Hilton.

My little "angel" asked me a few weeks ago if she could have a Tamagochi for Christmas (I'm sure any parent knows what this is)...She told me that ALL the kids in school have them, and she is emotionally distraught, totally OUT of the "cool" group, and can't cope with life any longer without one
(my drama queen).

....so I go shopping.

I checked seven stores and they are all sold out.

I tell her "Mommy and Daddy might not be able to get you a Tamagochi for Christmas".

She says "it's ok..Santa will get me one."

(envision a hair-pulling silent scream.....)

Gilesfamily, I know the pain you are feeling. A few weeks ago Holland told me she wanted another American Girl doll for Christmas. I said "Those are $100 bucks, and you just got one for your birthday in August". She said " I know, but I want another one, and that's why I want Santa to bring it, because he doesn't have to pay for it, He just has to pick it up!" So of course, I ordered the stupid doll because it is the only thing that she has asked for. If she doesn't play with that thing, I'm puttin it on ebay! Let us know if you don't have any further luck with the Tamagochi , maybe we can help you find one and ship it to you!

I'm not sure what his problem is with you. I can't really give you a great description of the man who paid me to stalk you, because when we met it was in a very dark dark dark alley. But through the light of the moon, I saw three letters on his brown shirt, it said "UPS". Does that give you any hints?! And the other hint I can give you.............as he walked away, he had quite a limp!
