Sept. 23rd and 24th

Curious if anyone knows what special events may be driving up expected crowds that weekend. Considering a last minute MNSSHP trip for my Sister's birthday on the Sunday (25th) but Josh has those dates as significantly more crowded than prior weekend and following weekend and the MNSSHP on Friday is highest priced party in Sept./ early Oct.

Knowing what's driving crowds would help me know how if would impact our specific plans and make the trip worth it or not. Hotels/ADRs seem fairly available given how close we are, so I'm thinking maybe convention?

I'd like to know as well. I will be there 21-27 Sep and I don't want large crowds! lol

The tiered party pricing kind of pisses me off.. Every party generally sells out on the day of the party and in theory, every party has the same number of tickets sold. I don't see how there can be tiered pricing, it's not based on the surge of a limited capacity party attendance. Just go to MNSSHP, the surge on calendars is probably what is expected for normal day visitors..

As far as what's going on? second week of food and wine, week before the chew starts to tape. People like to arrive friday and hit MK..

I'm going to the party on Sept 23rd - I have no idea why it more expensive. It's the only weekend that worked with our schedules though.

We are going during that time too and I hope it's not as bad as the crowd calendar is predicting now! We based our plans on the recommended parks and then recently the crowd calendar shot up and I'm not going to change it at this point and hope for the best. I know it won't be holiday busy crazy but hoping it's not too crowded.
