Sept 2018 Park Hours Updated Today (8/10)

Heads up for Sept folks. It appears park hours for much of Sept have been updated today. Mainly MK it seems, didn’t see a lot of changes at the other parks at the moment.

Good time to check your plans.

I was hoping for later hours for DHS and AK, 9/22 and 9/23. Both closing at 8:00.

I think maybe they are still in the process of updating hours. The app now shows 8:30pm for DHS on those two days, they were previously scheduled as 8pm closings. I think the app gets updated first then the website a bit later.

Not that 30 mins is much to get excited about....

Thanks - I just saw 8:30. I am hoping to snag Slinky Dog fastpasses when they are released. The top of the app has 8:30 now but no new fastpasses.

Sept hours - bigger update Friday 8/10

I figured there was a reasonable chance today would be an update.

One thing I noticed sitting here refreshing was the app appeared to have the new hours first, then the website came later.

Ooh, our first AK day went from 9-8:30 to 8-10.

It is not patron friendly to close the parks down at such early hours and it makes no sense. Let us enjoy the parks as long as possible, the tickets certainly cost enough.

I wondered the same thing. I checked as soon as I got the email from Touring Plans and there were no new FP+s available, so either I wasn't fast enough or they haven't added them yet, because they added two hours to the schedule, so it seems that some FP+ would be added too.

Does anyone have any thoughts on whether or not they will change the start time of HEA on Sept 2nd now that they've moved MK closing to 11:00pm? I have the after dessert party booked that night and curious because it may push it later than I want. I had a call from Disney today (I missed the call, but it was on my call log) but they left no message and I usually only get a call if the timing of a special event has changed on my plans, so I'm trying to piece it together and that Sept 2nd night is the only thing I can figure they may be calling about and I'll keep speculating until they try to reach me again.

It would be odd for them to change the fireworks time, but who knows these days. Please let us know what they called about!

Its not patron friendly, but it is pocket book friendly for Disney.
