Thanks! It is a surprise for now. We are putting together a package, that will be "delivered" to our door by Mickey and Tinkerbell, announcing our trip. We will most likely announce it in July so it's not so far away for them.

Me, DW, DS(4) and DS(3) will all be doing pirates league together before going to MNSSHP! I think I may be more excited for that night than anything else. That is the night I have my BOG ADR (second choice), do you think anyone will mind if 4 pirates roll into Beast's Castle for dinner?

Me boys weren't interested in PL anymore.. thankfully my daughter will be a mermaid or whatever she picks! the boys will do Harmony Barber shop.

We will be staying at CSR August 31-Sept 4!!!!

We just returned from Disney World on March 7th. That trip was so chaotic!!!!! My husband and I, our 6 month old, my 7 and 9 year olds, husband's 10 and 12 year olds, my husbands adult cousin and his 15 year old nephew. OMG never again will we take all those kids.

We need a vacation from our vacation. So.....DH, myself, the baby and his adult cousin will be making ANOTHER trip to Disney in September. Never in my life did I think I would be making two trips to Disney in one year. This is awesome!!!!!

Way too many kids on the first trip. Especially with one having really bad behavior problems.

For this upcoming trip we had originally decided on AoA Little Mermaid room with us paying for Memory Maker out of pocket but it was actually cheaper to go with Coronado Springs with the memory maker included....$14 cheaper actually.

So it's Coronado Springs for us this time.

Thinking about trying a deluxe resort on our next kid free (other than the baby) trip.

Last night we pulled the trigger and booked POR for September 17th through the 24th.

It will be my first time back since 97, and the first time for my wife and three boys (who we are not telling until the day of)!!!!

Booked the dining plan so I am excited for ADR day tomorrow.

Now I just have to figure out a way to keep myself busy for the next 6 months so I don’t go crazy!!

That's my issue, keeping myself busy, lol.

Hello everyone.

I currently have a trip booked for Sept 7 to 13. We will be staying at the Saratoga Spa and Resort. I have made many of my ADR but have been searching continually to improve them.

My husband and I are trying to surprise our children, 19, 17, 15, 15 and 10 (at time of travel) but think we are getting found out.

I can't wait to go, its been a dream for so long, one that was not even spoken about as I never thought it would be a possibility.

Looking forward to doing as much as we can.

Anyone doing any other fun stuff? Pirates league? harmony Barber shop? BBB???

We are doing the PL and Barber!!! so EXCITED! why isn't it Sept yet?!?!

We are booked for BBB. DD insists on getting an Elsa dress though so hopefully they are in stock by then! We are getting it done at 8:05am so we can get in the park early, BUT it's on our MNSSHP day. Don't plan on it lasting that long but dd may want to stay dressed up all day. We'll see.

I begged my kids to do Pirate League but they just didn't like it. They are not keen on face paint. Still considering Harmony Barber but does the hair color come out? We did the hair paint spray stuff at a festival and with the kids sweat running down their face, down came the hair spray and got in their eyes. It was a disaster!

The kids did ask about doing the Pirate and Pals firework cruise again (I had no idea they liked it) but DH and I said no. We didn't like it at all and it's expensive!

It will be the first time for everyone but myself. I went right after graduation in 88, but really consider it my first time, since I don't really remember anything about that trip except the horrid friend who ruined the entire trip for the rest of us. lol

I am so excited and get more and more every day. I agree that it is harder and harder to keep it a secret, I just want to yell it out, lol

To throw my children off the track, we have requested info from a lot of different states, CO, IL, NH, VT, MA, CA, NJ and PA just to name a few. Hope it works as i really want to "shock" them.

I may not be the person to ask about the pirate cruise lol! We had been on one the past summer in Panama City that was like a real pirate ship, pulled up buried treasure, really pulled the kids into the story, "swabbed" the deck, had a (squirt) gun fight/sword fight, shot canon balls, etc. and it was about half the cost. We get to the disney one and it was like meet in a conf room at the contemporary, which really wasn't even pirate themed except for a bar area set up for snacks (chips, cotton candy, ice cream, choc coins). Then it seemed like an hour of just sitting around I guess snacking. They did the limbo for a few minutes. Then took turns seeing Capt hook and smee (our longest line to see a character the entire trip). Then we finally boarded the boat to see it was just your typical disney transportation boat. The crew was just in their typical disney uniform (the employees at the other dressed the part/acted the part wonderfully). The ride out to see fireworks was pretty painful because the jokes were so cheesy. They were pretty much all geared towards adults and marriage. It was just odd. It didn't help that it was DHs big birthday present and the whole time he kept saying he wished he was just watching the fireworks in front of the castle. Ugh! And the kicker was when the big ferry boat going to ttc (?) stopped basically right next to us. DH looked right at me and said....same experience, $350 less lol! Overall it just wasn't what we expected. They have the opportunity to do so much with it in such a magical place but it just wasn't for us....

sept 3 - MK, Breakfast Crystal Palace, pool, Dinner BOG

'Ohana - good food, great resort- awesome day
Tusker House - good food, nice to get out of the hot AK sun in middle of day (always seems hotter in AK for some reason)
Cape May Café - outfits keep with 'beach' motif, cute. Still want to try their nighttime clambake
Hollywood & Vine - great for 'alternative' characters
Garden Grill - excellent revolving theme. Chip n Dale
Cinderella's Royal Table - You Gotta eat there at least once, even if only so the kids can say "we ate there"
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue - DW thinks its cheesy. I loved it. Taking the boat ride over from MK was cool.

Still waiting to do...
Biergarten, Brown Derby, Coral Reef, Luau, Liberty Tree

Did Harmony Barbershop last year. Was raining anyway. Kids loved it.
