Sept 2009

Hello everyone! We were lucky enough to get in on the LMT $1 deal and will be staying at POR September 20-27. DH hates not being on the monorail but he'll have to get over it. The room is free and we probably wouldn't be able to go without it.

So anyway, its been awhile since we've stayed at POR and I'm excited. I've always thought it was a beautiful resort.

Anyway, this is the farthest out we've booked a trip I think. DH is such a last minute person and it makes it so hard to plan. When we took DD for her first trip in 2007 he didn't agree to let me book until the end of February I think it was for our early June trip. Then last year I think we booked in July maybe for our early December trip. I feel like I should be planning away but there's no park hours yet and it's awhile before any ADR's can be booked.

So I guess I'll be doing some planning based on guesses of the hours and EMH and stuff. How do you estimate what the EMH will be? Are they usually the same from year to year?

I have read that codes for free dining have been going out, check your email!!

We just booked Free Dining today! I got the PIN code last night in my email. We're going September 19 - 27 and staying at POP!!!! Our last trip was February 2008 so we're going through withdrawal! :)

you beat me to this LOL :thumbsup2

Good luck to those that want free dining!

Also I am sorry I haven't been on this stomach bug going around my house :crazy2: I will update the list today sometime :rotfl:

Also whoever wrote about doing a photopass share it's still open I really just need to make sure that I can do a resort photoshoot and a photopass share. I am 95% sure that if I organize it I shouldn't have a problem.

Hi! We changed our Sept 12-19 resort from POFQ to CR:cool1: It will be nice to be back on the monorail!

AMEN to that! :)
Currently we are booked at the Beach Club with a great bounceback rate for end of September/Early October, but I would be so happy with Free Dining too!! :)

We sadly didn't book bounceback when we were there in December for September, decided after we got home (2 weeks later) that we'd do a birthday celebration for my Mom and are now going but with no discount....could really use one!!!!! Keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed for us!!!;)

I forget where but someone said that when they called a CRO they said their name was linked to a do not email list...you may want to call and make sure that you are on a list to receive emails.

Just a thought!

Thinking of all of you that want dining! :grouphug:

This may be a stupid question, not sure what a CRO is? Thanks!!

Thanks for the heads up. "If" we get free dining, I think I might be able to talk DH into flying. You know, using Disney math.

Hi everyone :) My name is Marie, I live in Alberta, Canada. My family(DH, DS13, DS16, and I are going back to the World Sept. 1-12, staying at AKL Club Level. Our first trip to WDW was last Jan/08 when we went as a family and shared my husband's military leave from Afghanistan with him. We had a blast, and stayed at AKL CL then too, thus our choice of resort again this trip... we fell in love with our "home away from home" :) My husband just got a job offer for the Sheriff Dept. and he will be retiring from the military after 21 1/2 years service next WED. Our trip will be a big celebration of our 18 wedding anniversary, hubby's retirement and new career, and friends of ours who have never been will also be joining us for 4 of our 10 days in the parks. We are all excited to be going back to the happiest place on Earth :cool1:
