Sept. 2009 @ WDW! Be a Pop Tart 2009~come share your(Bounce Back or NOT)Dates !!!

Melissa, if I have any wisdom it is because I gained it the hard way, through many mistakes.

You look far too young for what age you have to be. See what going to Disney so often does for one? :lmao:

SG

How ya doing? It's been few years since I ran into ya at Pop. I will be at Pop Sept. 9 ~ 17. Hope to see ya there! :goodvibes

How are you?

Melissa, thanks for asking. The Dr called and essentially I have something that could become cancerous or possibly already in an early stage. She recommends a hysterectomy and said she would give me a referral to a GYN Oncologist if I preferred going that route. It is a 9 to 30% chance they could find cancer. At first I said to go ahead and schedule the surgery with her, but after the news settled in decided I'd like to see the specialist. It may turn out to be fine, but the specialist could do a biopsy during the surgery and then remove whatever else as needed...whereas my Dr would not be able to do that on the spot and so it could mean another possible surgery...or not...it's the percentage of possibility that keeps coming back to me.

Put in a call yesterday, but have already learned it takes days for my Dr to return a call - the receptionist fills out a form which goes to the nurse, then to the Dr... Waiting and more waiting. All will be well...it is getting through the process that kind of scares me.:goodvibes

MsDisney23, hey there gal! Unless you plan to return the first two weeks of December, or again in April 2011 or the first two weeks of December 2011 we are not fated to meet anytime too soon. I am sorry, it would have been fun. How have you been? You are going to become a Pop Tart? You will be in good company with some of my very favorite people.

Christine, it always seems that we worry and worry and it gets us nowhere. You have done all that you can in getting good advice and researching. Now it is time to let go and let God. But then you knew that did you not?

Melissa, what better day to wear your 'birthday suit' than on your birthday? :rotfl2: You know what they say about the best laid plans? Af gang aglee or something like that. :rolleyes1

Life goes apace round here. Odd happenings and such. I survived and have no immediate plans to commit mayhem so the day may end well.

I'll be at POP then. I promise to flush my toilet repeatedly in the middle of the night. :rolleyes1

minnie&nana, that's rather scary news. I hope your specialist calls you back soon. Its so frustrating when you can't get immediate answers.

SG, enjoy the much cooler weather in December. I am sure it will be way too hot to be in Florida next month. My only consolation is Jersey tends to be hot and humid all summer too.

Gee, I will be missing almost everyone I know in December. :sad1:

The only good thing is that I will be missing all that heat as well as toilet flushing.:rotfl2:

MsDisney23, you might want to bring a big stick to beat on Figment's door. OR you could do what I once did to a neighbor who let his dog bark a lot. I taped the noise, waited until the middle of the night and called his house and played it back. It was before the days of caller id. :lmao:

Moral of the story is that SG might be a fairly nice person but do not push her too far or mess with her sleep. :scared1:

Go away for a few weeks and you miss a lot!

JM--I'm so sorry to hear about Constanze, and hope you're doing okay. ((hugs))

M&N--Sending thoughts and prayers and pixie dust your way that it turns out to be the least serious of all the possibilities, and that they are able to do a minimally invasive procedure to get rid of it. ((hugs))

Ms Disney--good to hear from you again! I ran into you at Epcot one day, and then I think I saw you again at the ToT meet a few days later. We'll just miss you on this trip--we leave 8/30. Have a great time!

Hi to everyone else, and hope you're enjoying these last few weeks of summer.

Just 6 days until we leave for WDW! It's been the busiest summer for us--I'm looking forward to school starting again so things slow down a little, lol.

M&N, Keeping you in my prayers. Also pixiedust: that the doctor calls you sooner than expected.

:lmao: So, did the neighbor stop the dog barking? Jonas liked the story too.

And I hope to see you in December.

Melissa, I am glad that Jonas liked that story. I believe I read it somewhere once and when my problem came up I just followed through. It was sort of an act of mercy as misbehaving dogs have a habit of disappearing in our neighborhood. I would rather tie the owner up to a clothesline myself.

December should be even more interesting than last December. We shall see.

I hope to see you and the boy behind the video game too.

Kris should we tell them what we may be doing or wait until we're sure?;)

BTW, you and M&N had better give us some information on that big secret before we come and beat it out of you with our wands. :lmao:

Kris may shoot me for even slightly mentioning it - let's just say for now we are both incredibly overwhelmed!! Once I hear back from Kris via email, will spill the beans either way.:thumbsup2

Here I stand, can opener in hand. Waiting for beans to spill is not my style.

Whats done is done, for better or worse, you might as well tell them :worried:

Ok I get one stinking email from this thread and it is one telling me that Christine and Kris have a secret they are keeping from all of us. Oh the pain of being kept in the dark. lol

You don't have to be sad Kris no need to spill the beans. What we don't know won't hurt us.

Okay, now that it's officially official ;)...please come visit Kris and I over on the POP FAQs #4 thread - we are the new co-hosts. :cool1: Due to my lack of tech knowledge, Kris was gracious enough to have her name on the thread, but we are equally responsible:scared1: ....hmm... :rolleyes1

(see I've no idea how to add a link without the entire link!)

Stop by and say hello soon!! ::yes::

All Hail our new leaders.:worship::worship::worship:

I am hoping you do not change the rules so that us outsiders can still be Tarts. I have wanted to be a tart since I was a wee tot. They seem to have the most fun and attract a whole lot of attention. I do believe that many of them have eye problems though as they seem to need to stand under street lights but other than that it looks like fun!:rotfl:

Slightly Goofy

I can still make those poolside meets from my home down the road. Straight line and then right. I know most everything right off Buena Vista. You should have seen my shock when I went out to figure out how to get to the BC for an Illuminations Cruise and found out how very easy it was. Now, if only I could drive to EPCOT without ending up on the interstate.

No wise cracks about how I cannot get out of the POP parking lot from a certain someone either. :rotfl2:

Slightly Goofy

You can't get out of the Pop parking lot? Why don't you explain to us why. It sounds like an interesting and funny senerio. lol

Ang, it is not as funny and interesting as the fact that both you and Will were in the car with me and poor Duck was following me. :lmao:

Slightly Goofy, who always remembers where things are the day she is to check out.

I may be headed back to TX for a weekend, an old friend is getting married. I am waiting to see how Jacob does in school before making any plans because I don't think I can do it without at least taking him out of school early. Jonas will be overseas, so I have no choice, have to take the kiddo.

Let me know if you need a ride from San Antonio or Austin airport!
