SEPT 2009 code watch

Hi everyone,

I've been offline for a couple days. Took a weekend trip to Lake Tahoe for a friend's wedding. The casinos were not nice to me at all:rotfl2: .

I's like to welcome:
scotas
stephgles
EMI
Pegryfun
arbolita

Welcome to the thread. You have all been added to the list on page 1 of the thread. We now have 55 members

LOL! Can you change mine? I decided to upgrade to a suite at All Star Music for the same dates. Staying at POP would have been just silly. With three kids and two adults a suite was better suited for us!

Just be careful with AAA. There have been a few threads on the board about bad results with AAA TAs. Not all of its TAs are created equally and you can get the room discount yourself.

Thank you, I will keep an eye on all the details that they don't change. I've booked the last 2 yrs with AAA, but this is the first time I did it directly with Disney and AAA said that they could take over. I hope they don't mess up with my free dining. Do you think they will offer it to the general public this spring?
Thanks for adding me to the list.

Can I join?

Right now we have booked the bounceback for Oct 1-15th, but I found out that it is not value season during that time. I'm thinking about going a week or maybe two earlier.

We went at the begining of September this year, Is the end of September less crowded? Less hot? Less rainny?

I'm going to start out positive and say hopefully they will offer free dining or a good rate for the suite...but I don't think it was eligible for free dining last year. So if you are hoping for that, you might have to change again.
I'm hoping you get to stay AND get a good deal!!! :wizard:

Just to let everyone know that I did recieve a pin code in my e-mail box this morning. It was for park tickets meals and room for $63.00 per adult a night, Had to be used in Nov so I can't use it. I also recieved something from disney for a saved regastration I made at the Poly I'm not going to use it just want to see if saving a vacation package will help the pin code fairy find me.

Count me in! We cancelled our annual September trip to WDW this year (and we had free dining, too!) back in early August in favor of 10 days in Southern California. We did do 2 days at DLR, but I am so missing DisneyWorld right now! We'll be there from 9/19 through 9/27. Hopefully at the Poly, but probably at POR. Here's hoping for a 40% off code:cheer2:

Well we booked our reception site today, so I think we will be going September 22-29 - still undecided on where to stay, but we've narrowed it down to four possibilities- BWI or Poly if we do a deluxe, POFQ or CSR if we decide to go with a mod.

My DD got the $63 deal in the mail and so did a friend of hers all the dates were for 2008 and the price included park tickets, free dining and value resort for 4 nights at that price !! So my question is what is you wanted 8 nights and 6 people ?? Anyone know !!

Poppers there are a few September open days for a fridge swap at Pop It's on the budget board if anyone is interested !!

They might limit the number of rooms or nights, but it can't hurt to ask!

Apparantly is was offered last year on Suites, according to many others.

Cool. I know at one time it wasn't allowed, so maybe they are changing this.
Good to know!

I am planning a trip next september and hope to hit free dining. Should I book the room only now and then upgrade it in April if/when the free dining promotion will hopefully come out or should I book for a package? I am planning on staying at the Pop Century... but would be open to any of the value resorts. Any advice would be appreciated.

This is exactly what I did. I booked room only, put my deposit down and will make small payments throughout the year so I don't have to come up with big $ at the end. If/when Dining or discounts come out I will change my ressie.

Did you use a TA? If so they are OK with the payments? I got the impression from mine that they don't do payments. I would prefer to send in the money as I have it too rather then wait until the end.
