SEPT 2009 code watch

Anyone any plans as yet ?It will be fun when we all start planning and can see if we can meet!! I know we are planning to go to Spectro the first night (12th) or Fantasmic if there's no spectro !! DD's tradition is to start the vacation at PH her favorite she loves the decor !!!!

Hi Rosie& Others,
Our planning will really begin on March 17 the 1st day for us to book our dining plans. We'll do the Liberty Tree always last night mashed to die for. Planet Hollywood, Raglin Road, Le Cellier, Rose & Crown, Yak & Yetti. As you can see we're still a couple short so any Ideas for Disney Studios would be nice. For anybody who hasn't been to Disney during DDP It is VERY, VERY important to get dining at the earlest possible time. Its will be the best thing you do for your vacation. I don't know how many people we heard outside dining places asking about reservationsto eat.

I hear you Chuck I always get my adrs as early as I can (date wise ) DHS is tough, SciFi is great atmosphere but many bad reviews on food , I am doing it in May for lunch I'm having acheeseburger which I hear are good ! There Milkshakes and onion rings are DELISH!! I wasn't very impressed with Mama Melroses it was okay!! We did H &V for breakfast las t year and honestly I had no complaints average breakfast buffet. Excellent characters !! That leaves Brown Derby which is a 2 TS and I haven't tried it but I think the friends want too! In Feb I ate at Catalina Eddies but it is outside and I think will be too hot !! DHS seriously needs some better restaurants !! Oh I forgot Prime time , their menu doesn't really appeal

This will be my first time going during free dining (fingers crossed:goodvibes ). I want to make ADR's for a couple of old favorites and the rest places I have never tried before. So far my list is:

Whispering Canyon
Teppan Edo (maybe we have a Japanese Hibachi place here but my DD loves to eat at the "hot tables")
O'hana
Crystal Palace
California Grill
Mama Melrose ( DH wants to do the fantasmic dinner package)
Raglan Road

This is my 100th post

Congrats on # 100 !! Holly !
CrystalPalace is my fav. Love the characters and the buffet Shrimp and mussels and desserts Yummy!1
Raglan Road will be a repeat for me I want to try the chowder this time
Mama Melrosesis just Okay!!
Others haven't done !!

Hi all! I have a question and would love some opinions. We are booked at ASMu in a family suite, there are 5 of us, but I am thinking about switching to POP and getting 2 adjoining rooms. I am thinking that POP looks like more fun! More colorful and exciting themes. Any opinions? It will be myself and DH, DD(18) DS(13) and my mother.

Only thing set in stone..but not really..so set in stone in my head (:rotfl: ) is CRT on our first night, meeting up many times with OhioDisneyLover, MNSSHP 2 nights (just can't get it all done in one night!), seeing fantasmic this time! and doing world show case better!! Oh and hopefully meeting some more awesome DISsers!

In 'O7 I had our ADRs made before the free dining came out, in anticipation. We didn't even have our hotel booked.
Mostly because I needed tables for 16. But also because I didn't want to miss out on any of our favorites.
I think we will try a few new ones next time, if we don't chicken out.

I think we will skip TS at DHS, and use a TS somewhere else. We haven't found a 1TS we like there.
I know it gets mixed reviews, but for CS I really liked Pizza Planet, especially since we could get Gluten Free pizza for our kids.

DD14 are scouring the menus online and making a list, checking it twice. ;)
They'll all probably change by April, but at least we will have an idea. :thumbsup2

I just booked bouncebeck for September. Its myself and Dh. We are staying 8 nights at CSR with 8 day parkhoppers, free dining for 2300. I am super excited because our past 2 trips were with large groups. Well they were all undecided about next year, so it might just be the two of us!! It can be super hard to get through the parks with a group of 8 adults who want to do different stuff.

Anyways I would love to meet up with anyone who is willing. We'll be there Sept 12-20. Now I need to watch for airfare, but we fly southwest and they won't be booking Sept for a while. I'm already trying to decode where to make ADR's. I've never done a character meal, that might be fun.

We will be at CSR from sept 13-22! But your trip seems awfully expensive for just 2 of you??I'm only paying $2700 for the 4 of us (2 kids,2adults) for 9 days at csr with park hoppers and dxdp.... this bounceback confuses me so much!!

I get pretty confused to. But I should mention that we booked a king so that adds to the price. We missed out for free dining this past September, so we actually paid more than that for our stay at POP a couple of weeks ago, than we'll pay for next years trip so I'm happy. Now as long as airfare doesn't get to outrageous we'll be set.

I just noticed we are there the same time!!! I am so excited, we've never stayed at CSR but we ate at the Maya Grill at the suggestion of a CM at POP. It was just so beautiful.

Count me in...While there two weeks ago, we booked the bounceback with free dining. WL from 9/26 - 10/3. DH and I are talking and think we are going to add an extra day or two. (This is coming from DH as well) :cool1: :cool1:

We plan to be at Pop 9/12 -9/20 with about 10 of us bur I am def. up to a meet !!

Place me on the list. My family and I just got back from our first trip to Disney (Sept 19-28) and it was fantastic!!! Everything I had hoped it would be, especially to see my girls faces with excitement and disbelief that we where really there. I would be interested in a Dining Plan similar to the one offered this year. We stayed at the All Stars Music and thought it was good for the price that we paid.

Please please please count me in....:yay:

That's seems really cheap. did you get a deal? We'll be @CSR Sept20-24. And I think we're paying2200 there abouts.

Well I already posted that we are booked for the bounceback from 9/26 - 10?3. DH and I were talking last night and as a xmas gift to eachother we are going to go again in December of 2009 as well for a few days. :cool1: :cool1:

We had a bounceback offer for free dining. I love free dining.

OK and I realized something, I am now DIS obsessed. I woke up this morning and checked out this site before the local paper.:surfweb: .

DH and I returned last week from a great time at WDW and booked our Sept, 09 trip with free dining while we were there. Staying again at ASMU (perferred this time) Going Sept.27th -Oct.3rd. I am going to transfer all the arrangements to AAA. My TA said I may get another discount with AAA. Will wait and see. I hope this thread will continue for the next 11 months.:cool1:

To anyone who has booked without the DDP it usually comes out in early April fot the general puplic (GP ). you will lose any other discount AAA but you will save 40.00 per adult per day. The easist way to figure out your price WITH the DDP is to go to reservations put in your dates, tickets and any xtras do a total and don't add the dining. That should be your price After you get free dining in early April.

Just be careful with AAA. There have been a few threads on the board about bad results with AAA TAs. Not all of its TAs are created equally and you can get the room discount yourself.
