??Sept 2008/Poly..do I wait for free dining

A question for you DIS experts. I am planning 9/26/8-10/1/08 and would like to splurge for Poly (figure garden view@$340 night which is the least price)
My kids will be 11,10,8 and our 1st trip was off site 2 yrs ago.

I am hoping free dining will be offered...should I book now to get the room and then change it if free plan is offered? I heard it is usually in April and a week earlier for Disney Visa card holders.

Have others gotten it at the Polynesian?
If it is not available could I add the paid dining plan to reservation and can I wait till closer to trip to do that?

Would love any responders to share their knowlege on garden view rooms and is there a certain room/location I should request?

Hi,

One thing I can tell you--and I know that one year's results do not neccessarily mean that things will be the same the next year--is that free dining stays in 2007 had to begin no later than September 22.

Thanks Bob...The UK free dining is till 9/27 so I am hoping they will match that!

Having a room does not guarantee you will get free dining if and when it is announced. When they release the codes there are only a certain number of them available.
