Hello!! I made it!! Way to go on your pre-trippie!!:goodvibes

I'm looking at your itinerary and don't see any days when we'll be at the same park at the same time.:sad1: Hopefully we'll run into each other at some point!

Your DD is beautiful!! We had Emma's first haircut at the barber shop when she was 22 months old. She was pretty much bald until 14 months old though!:rotfl:

Loving all of your crafts!! I'm so jealous of your talent!

Can't wait to read more!

Yeah, I forgot about the LGMH!! How do you like Passporter and TGM? I haven't used them since I just get UG and Econoguide from the library for free...

I forgot my ponchos...got to go back to the store to get them -- thanks!

Oh, I can't wait to see those baskets -- they'll gonna be great!

I got the UG too but gave it to a friend so I didn't count it. ;)

I am hoping Walgreen's or Target has the ponchos.

Here is the final pre-trip project (yeah, now I can start to pack!)

I got this from Michaels -- I did nothing to the covers on this one. It was a simple accordian black paged scrapbook but I decided to use it for our schedule.

And here are the details of two pages

It's quite simple. I was going to use tags and pockets, but then decided that would not be needed -- it's just a quick schedule (and something for DD to look at in line when she's bored...)

Thanks to everyone for the fantastic postings - I just stumbled onto this thread and couldn't quit reading. Wish I'd been this crafty years & years ago when my DD was young and "into" Disney. Now I'm the one scrapping all the old Disney photos and the new ones DH & I take every visit.

Got some LGMH's at local Home Depot last week & now I'm working on what to do with them for the window at POP and on my Disney bag in case I run into DISers at the parks.

Thanks to all of you for getting me all geared up for our Disney trip. Just reading the thread is making me get motivated.

Cool -- more LGMHs at the World!! Thanks for all the kind words...I have never done so much creative things before but the DIS really inspired me, too!

SSSSSSSOOOOOOO Cute Marshay!

You are again...so talented! :teeth:

Love your latest addition to your craftiness collection.

It is too cute!!!

Now, show us the packing lists:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

soooooo cute!! What a great idea :thumbsup2 too bad I don't have time to do anything crafty like this for our trip this year. But there's always plenty of time to do cool stuff for my 2 trips next year :yay:

Hey Goofyluvr -- coming from YOU that is a GREAT compliment!!

Leger -- the accordian book took me 1.5 hours from start to finish...it was really simply to do (print, cut, ink the edges and front, sticker and glue) so if you really wanted to, it can be done before your trip!!!:goodvibes

sounds easy enough. I'll have to try and squeeze it into my schedule before I leave.

I'm here, too. I love your crafts, but I must admit, I'm just not that talented.:goodvibes

I see you're in Northern Va. I have family in Springfield and the Annapolis, MD area. I spend a lot of time down your way.:thumbsup2

Looks like we'll be in Epcot on the 17th, too. We're doing a dinner at Akershus. And MK on the 19th. We have a lunch at CRT. Maybe we'll run into each other...:cool1:

Do you have a link to that DVC book? DH and I want to own AKL points so much but really can't afford it. I wouldn't mind a book to drool over though. I could only find info on a DVD when I went there and I don't care to mess with getting up to put those in the PS2 and then having to use the controller to view something I could have just watched on-line. ;)

Of course, if we ever did have some extra money... DVC would be right up there with ways to spend it.

My favorite craft is the accordion schedule. I would love something like that on our trips. Did I mention that I'm not organized in any manner? :goodvibes

Very cool! I'm in Ashburn, which is just west of Dulles Airport. And I grew up in Reading/Mt. Penn, PA. What section of PA are you in? My parents and sister now live in Blandon/Fleetwood and my aunt is in Allentown.

Hey, can you post/send a pic of yourself? I'd love to look out for you on the 17th and 19th! Woo Hoo!! You are the first person who has the same days as me...

Call my DVC guide and tell him that you are interested in AKL and that I said the DVC "DREAM" book would help answer all your questions. That should get you hooked up! DVC Guide Jeff Jarosz: 800/827-1759

Yeah, I understand on the $$$ for DVC...we were lucky and got in when it was only $91/pt for SSR...I hear it's $104 now...but they usually offer deep discounts ($10+/pt off) in late Dec/early January if you have a current member refer you...

Up next is my packing list....at last count it had 132 items on it :rotfl: , so I guess I better whittle it down a bit. My parents left today to drive down to FL since they don't like to fly. Since they have a mini-van just for the two of them, I gave them a box of toys, my aerobed (I have problems with some beds ever since my back injury), DD's princess dress, our light weight stroller (we'll take our jogging stroller on the plane with us), and all the diapers/wipes/swim diapers and an extra pair of clothes for all of us.

Ok, time to put DD to bed and then I'll post the revised packing list.

Oooo, a packing list, count me in!

I got the DVC book and it's beautiful really. Hardback with great pictures but the AKL are sketches. It's neat but I am still trying to get DH to look at it.

I looked for the accordian folders and couldn't find any. I did buy our ponchos, hand sanitizer, and AA batteries today though. 2 bags packed and 3 to go. DH packs his own.
