Sept 2005 Roll Call...It’s Finally Sept! Are You Ready? Come Share Your Enthusiasm

Only 40 days to go We check into POFQ, dinner at California Grill, next day to Bomas, then Next day to Crystal Palace, then on the 28th La Cellar for my actual birthday, then Mama Melrose on Sept 29th, then on Friday, Sept 30, Liberty Tree Tavern and then MNSSHP and then the next day, Epcot for the food and wine festival. Thought we had everything all set and then we found the t-shirt thread and now Decisions, Decisions what to wear. We finally decided we need at least three different shirts to change into each day Thank goodness we found cheap shirts at walmart for $6 each. We almost have it down pat as to what shirts to wear for each day. There will be four of us wearing very bright shirts Hope to see some of you

Yay, 19 days left!!!! I had a scare today and almost had to cancel/postpone our trip, but everything looks to be back on track now! I can't wait, soon I will start packing and doing some vacation clothes shopping woo hoo!! I haven't gotten my confirmation mail yet, does anyone else have this problem? I used a TA so I guess it takes a little bit longer, but everyday I check the mail and no Mickey

24 days to go! We were driving but with gas so high and airfare so cheap we are now flying!!!!!!!!!!!!

DH and I will be at POP Sept 1-5!!

I added you and everyone else who has placed thier dates since this afternoon

I have 39 more days to go, but it might be 38 days if I decide to go down a day earlier

YEAH!! We are ready to go now. We have gotten our docs and ME tags. Now I need to concentrate on packing. I have started my DD (3) bag. I hope we get the building we want and that the hurricanes stay away!

I'm way past excited! We are leaving in what about 16 days now, we just got our tickets in the mail today!!! It's now seems more 'offical' some how!!! We are still driving and watching gas prices like mad!! I've started making our packing lists, all our road and resort snacks are hiden in the pantry, breakfast meal plan is done, shoping list for walmart is done, park days planed out.

I'm so excited under 20 days! Still haven't got my tickets and stuff but I booked it through a TA and they said they would arrive about 14 days ahead of trip!

Did anyone else kinda have a slump in their excitement after the initial glow from booking wore off?

Now I'm worried I'll forget something for the wedding or the trip...

Hi,
I thought I was the only one to feel let down a little after the initial booking - I did so much research to decide where to stay and when - then what itinerary to put together and get my ADRs, that then I felt a little down. but I think it is natural . Just wait until the night before you leave! And that first step into the airport in Orlando and the first step into the resort! boy that feels so good.

I'm kinda in that slump phase right now. For some reason I always get the feeling that my vacation is over before it even starts (does that make sense?). This time around I tried to stretch making ressies for things out really far so I wouldn't do it all at once. I'm still debating between the Magical Express and towncar though (leaning towards towncar for a grocery stop.)
