Sept. 10th! Wow! That'll be here any day now. Funny how things can't happen soon enough and yet time seems to be flying!
It really is nice getting to put faces with names. I hope we all have an opportunity to make some lasting friendships.

My wife pointed out that she didn't gain any weight on the cruise

As for the running, I am more of a jogger. My last 10K, a couple of race walkers passed me just before the finish.

I found it hard to get my weight back down after the cruise.

Love this joke, btw. I can't imagine planning a wedding/vacation/move all at once like that, much less throwing a new car into the mix as well. Have you considered just leaving your old car behind and buying a new car in your new state when you get there so you don't have to drive it? Plus then your dealer will be near your new home for warranty repairs, etc. (Having just gone through the ordeal of test driving so many models and negotiating with dealerships, we're putting off getting me a new car anytime soon.)

I do like having my hair look nice, especially for pictures. And I USED to HAVE to have it PERFECT ALL. THE. TIME. But now, I'm not so much that way, but in engagement pictures, yes. I also don't like the fact that it looks like my bolero is ripped a little bit on the shoulder. After we got these back, I inspected the bolero, and it's NOT ripped, but it sure does look like my left shoulder (right in the picture) is exposed a bit and that the bolero is ripped. That, and one of my teeth looks a little yellow in the picture. And my hair's going every which way.
