Sept 20,2011 Wonder Repositioning Cruise

Sept. 10th! Wow! That'll be here any day now. Funny how things can't happen soon enough and yet time seems to be flying!

It really is nice getting to put faces with names. I hope we all have an opportunity to make some lasting friendships.

Great Photo!!! so nice to see everyone before we meet!!!! Hope everyone will get their photos posted

Thanks. I didn't want to post a photo of the last day of the 14 day cruise, as I had gained a few pounds :rotfl2: My wife pointed out that she didn't gain any weight on the cruise :worship:

I will be spending more time on deck 4 - running track this cruise :rolleyes1

1/2 Marathon. Good for you! :thumbsup2 I'm trying to get back down to 199lbs before this cruise. I am very close. :cool1:As for the running, I am more of a jogger. My last 10K, a couple of race walkers passed me just before the finish. :confused3

At my jogging rate a 1/2 marathon would take me a little more than 2 hours.:scared1: I've done a couple 10K's and always wanted to do a 1/2 marathon. :)

I am so glad that this is a 5 night cruise. On the 14 day cruise I gained 11 pounds, almost a pound a day. I found it hard to get my weight back down after the cruise.

See you on Deck 4 :yay:

Tim

September 10th. 9-10-11. The #1 most popular date in 2011 to get married! And we thought we were being unique! :confused3 :rotfl2::laughing:

Only 2 1/2 weeks left. I'm an absolute nervous wreck trying to get everything done before then!!! :scared1:
That's so funny. We got married on 10/10/10, and our best friends are getting married on 11/11/11. (We briefly considered 7/8/09 when we planned it in '05 but knew we wanted Disneyland and hate DL in the summer.) We went to Vegas for our honeymoon and pretty much every person we talked to there had come to town for somebody's wedding since it was the biggest day of last year to get married. Yep, everybody likes to pick easy dates to remember so you're going to be sharing your anniversary with a lot of people.
Amazing how quickly things you anticipate can come up; just don't stress out because no matter what it'll be a great day.
The biggest thing right now is packing. I know I could get it all done if it weren't for having to pack up my entire house and figure out what's going in the back of the Toyota Camry (or whatever car we're driving, since we're looking at buying me a new one right before the wedding :yay:) and what stays in Missouri until January. Even that probably wouldn't take that long, except for the truth in my fiance's joke about packing...

What's the hardest thing to find when you're packing?

Motivation :lmao:
:rotfl:Love this joke, btw. I can't imagine planning a wedding/vacation/move all at once like that, much less throwing a new car into the mix as well. Have you considered just leaving your old car behind and buying a new car in your new state when you get there so you don't have to drive it? Plus then your dealer will be near your new home for warranty repairs, etc. (Having just gone through the ordeal of test driving so many models and negotiating with dealerships, we're putting off getting me a new car anytime soon.)
Getting a new car over there was our intention when we move in (hopefully) 5 months, to leave one car behind and purchase a new one near the new home until DH totaled his. While it was awesome to have the insurance pay for a portion of the new car, getting a new car before moving the way we did is not something I'd recommend.

LOL! If you don't manage to find motivation to pack between now and September 9th, you know I'll be happy to help you...right after lunch :)

Well, it was more work than just posting from FB. I had to actually save the photo and upload to photobucket. But, it was still easier than going to my parents' house, finding the CD Rom, taking the CD Rom back here, uploading from THAT to photobucket, and then posting.

I LOVE having a technology genius for a future husband! LOL! And thank you... that was the picture that went out on our save the dates. I'm not crazy about it - my hair is flying every which way, but I'm just anal about my hair looking perfect! LOL! :lmao:

You & my sister will get along fabulously!!! she has perfect hair & perfect makeup ALLLLLLLLL the flippin time!!!

Hello -- great pictures, everyone!

I just rec'd our confirmation for our group to dine in the private room at Palo on formal night! :yay: The email asked us to reconfirm on embarkation day at Wave Bands between 1 -3. Ack. That line is always so long and I've been spoiled by never having to stand in it. Has anyone confirmed their private dining room ressie by calling them on the first night? I'd hate for it to be canceled if I don't reconfirm between 1-3.

TIA

I was actually being somewhat sarcastic. ;) I do like having my hair look nice, especially for pictures. And I USED to HAVE to have it PERFECT ALL. THE. TIME. But now, I'm not so much that way, but in engagement pictures, yes. I also don't like the fact that it looks like my bolero is ripped a little bit on the shoulder. After we got these back, I inspected the bolero, and it's NOT ripped, but it sure does look like my left shoulder (right in the picture) is exposed a bit and that the bolero is ripped. That, and one of my teeth looks a little yellow in the picture. And my hair's going every which way.

I am quite certain that we did not have to wait in any line to confirm our private dining room ressie last Oct. i believe we went to Palo and confirmed it in person

Perfect! Thanks for the info. We'll be cutting it close arriving by train that morning, clearing customs, etc. that I don't want to worry about standing in a line.

It's our first time in the private dining room. Can't wait!

That is a great photo, but I do like the second one you posted.

As I moved every 3 or 4 years growing up (Dad was in the Navy), I have to agree with Nate - Motivation is a big part of moving.

Brenda, I like the photo of you and your husband.

Thanks Heather!!! Did you see the ones of sister Teresa & friend Dianne a few pages back??? Still don't know if Teresa will be on the train with us or not...so don't know if you'll be looking for 2 or 3 of us....:rotfl:
