I've got WDW/ DL on the brain. Every where I looked and saw Disney stuff it just made me want to go. I'd be happy going to the Disney Store. Wwaaah!

Hello, all! I know I haven't posted in a while. I have really been trying to spend less time on this computer. I had to pay some bills online this morning, so I thought I'd jump in and say hi!!

If any of you have been keeping an eye on the tropical weather (namely EMILY!) and you see that most southern tip of TEXAS that she may be headed for, that's OUR little corner of the world!! The coastal city is Brownsville (and South Padre Island, of course), but we are about 45 miles inland. Even if it doesn't hit us directly (reports are still uncertain, but they are predicting it to hit about 50-80 miles south of Brownsville) we will definitely be seeing some BAD weather over the next few days, starting tomorrow. Guess I'll check in again later today or after the storms have passed. Take care everyone!!

How do you get the ticker on your signature?

How do you get the ticker on your signature?

Go to www.tickerfactory.com and you just click what bar you want and what marker you want. The site creates the ticker for you w/ all the computer language. Then when you are at the last step it will ask you which computer language you want. bb code is the one you want. Highlight it and copy it and then over in your DIS signature line (w/in the User CP section) paste the bb info in and voila! Your ticker should be showing graphics and what ever phrase you chose. Have fun picking a ticker. There are other ticker sites out there, but I've found tickerfactory to be the most user friendly.

Amanda01, is in TN possibly roasting right now. I'm home prepping for out of town family guests to arrive, and Dzneprincess is in Colorado. Krystina's mommy checks in from time to time making sure we're obeying as does Ladypoo.

O.k., I'm really avoiding my housework. As I stated, I have family coming and I'm trying to get this place a little more together. I know I'll be away from the computer once family arrives so those who are able, lurk little and post often!

To catch everyone up one me in case your curious as to where I have been.... My DH and I bought a new home and moved to Palm Coast, FL. Its just north of Daytona Beach. That was quite a big pain and very time consuming. Before that, My grandfather had a stroke and has been learning how to walk again. My father had a heart attack but is recovering well. My mother had anxiety issued brought on by the stress from my father and grandfather. I am getting ready for my son to start Kindergarten, My best friend is getting divorced and I am in the middle of it all!!!!! I am good now and everything is all settling down. The new house is great and has a pool so my DS is very happy. We are going on another cruise in June on the Mariner of the SEa to the western Caribbean. Ocho Rios, Labbadee, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman. We are planning a family reunion cruise for 2007. Unkown where or on what cruise line. I am trying to convince my DH to go back on Disney for a 7 day cruise on the magic. We'll see what happens there. He misses the casino. We have annual WDW passes and have been going almost every weekend up until our move last week. Its been very hot there but a lot of fun. It has been raining almost everyday here. That's the downside of the Florida hurricane season. It's all good though.

EEYOREFAN it's good to see you back! Congrats on the new house. Well I was looking at some online real estate with my mom for Katy, TX and I was amazed at how great the prices are there. I told DH that when he is finished with his degree that we are moving back to Tx. I can't believe how different the cost of living is there. Plus we would be within driving distance of WDW! He just laughed when I told him about WDW, but he sounded really excited about moving! So we may be in the south within the next 4 years!!!!!!

The house prices are great her e right now, Ericamanda. If you can stand the heat and the rain, come on down! Plus you get all those Florida residency discounts on the cruises and at WDW!!!!
