Sept 19th,2004 revisited.....

Just checking in to see what is going on. Boy have yall done a great job keeping this thread going. I agree about rebooking you just have to pick a date and do it! And that is exactly what I and fellow 9/19/04 cruiser lilpootr did. We will be aboard the Disney Magic Sept. 10, 2005. I am so excited and am driving my husband crazy talking about it. Well nothing else exciting here just beautiful weather. We will be heading to Georgia this weekend for my youngest brother's wedding, Man do I feel old. Hey can anyone tell me how to post the countdown clock and where to add Disney trips taken?
Thanks!

CRUISIN AGAIN SEPTEMBER 10, 2005

That's right you and your DISing family are going too. Boo Hooo hooo! I'm really turning on the water works now!

:guilty: am here. sneaking in for just a bit. We have a short Wonder cruise in less than a month now. We didnt think we were going to be able to get all the time off we need to go on the Aug Repo cruise when we booked this one. We are excited though. Dom has a blast on them.

We had lots and lots of germies this weekend. It is getting to be warmer now here and rotavirus is a kicker. That along with the asthmatics, keeps us on our toes.

You won't believe what's been happening today in our home. Remember I was awake at 4:00am? Well, I never went back to sleep. My DH and I were watching t.v. and talking while our oldest DD slept in between us after being scared of a dream (night terrors). Well, at about 5:am she just started shaking. I thought it was from another night terror and her right side of her body continued to shake. I quickly turned on the lights and saw that her eyes were open. She was breathing through the seizure thank God! She was non responsive so I just dialed 911, b/c I couldn't think of our pediatricians #. Well, we got some one to watch our other kids and DH rode w/ Robyn to the hosp. ER while I drove ahead of the ambulance to the hosp.. The seizure just happened w/ no warning signs. No fever, sickness before bed, etc. They did a cat scan on her and it appeared there was nothing noticeable. We'll find out the cat scan results tomorrow. So, we were at the ER for several hours for observations and test.

And then....Remember the furniture I told you about was coming? Well, it did. We had about a 45 min. break at home before the furniture truck arrived. I was policing the guys of where to put the stuff. Since I was so tired, I really didn't care where they put it, but I did my best to sort out what I was thinking during the wee hours of the a.m. before R's seizure.

And then....Shortly after that, a friend of ours and their kids came to play so that I could take DH to his knee dr. appt. Our ride to the dr. is about 35min. and I tell you w/ the warm sun on me and DH asleep in the passenger seat it was awfully temping to close my eyes for just a little bit (while driving about 70 mph of course).

This day has been crazy. My neighbor behind me said that we've experienced a lot of first w/in the last five days (counting Kimi getting lost from me) and she's right. There's definately some firsts I don't want to experience again.

Well, I really need to get to bed. Hopefully, we'll have a normal day tomorrow w/ no surprises. :wizard:

Good night. :wave2:

That is so scarry! Will the dr's know what brought on the seizure? So sorry to hear about all the ups and down. But without the ups we could appreciate the downs. I swear I am Confucius reincarnated! I really sound like a fortune cookie!

Well our oldest cat isn't doing to well and may be going over the rainbow bridge soon. He is actully 15 almost 16 years old and we have been prepared for his departure for some time now. He was getting special wet food because he lost some teeth but now he's not eating it and he's having trouble holding himeself up. I hate to be the one to break it to DH, as he was DH's cat since highschool. So everyone pray for a quick and painless passing for dear Skisty, Latvian for beautiful. And pray that it's not too hard for DH to handle. I hope everyone has a great day! And I will check in later.

  doing the happy happy banana man dance. WE have the thing paid now. so it is more of a reality now. Our room is in the middle of the ship. Same floor that we like. life cant get much better.

Thanks taeja. We did take him to the vet and we had to let him go. There were other options but they were just temporary. And he wasn't doing well. DH was really upset, he had Skisty since he was in high school. Silly as it sounds we feel better knowing he is in heaven with our other kittens and my grandmother. And he lived a very long and full life.

My sentiments exactly!

We got our documents for the May cruise today. Misti got them from the UPS man. Ya gotta love that cute little brown truck.

  Congrats!

Next, you have to go to the nearest photocopier and make five extra sets of tix for my family. Make sure you type in all our names correctly or else DCL will think we're part of your family. LOL!

Could any of you tell me about the Disney princess character breakfast for DISNEYLAND? I guess info for WDW would be o.k., too, but I just am clueless about the princess dining thing. My oldest DD would love it, but right now, just as I said, I'm clueless.

BTW, The Disney Princess meal will change from breakfast to luncheon June 10th.

Hey whoever is going on the next cruise after June will have to report back about the new dinning rotations. If you haven't hears they are starting early dinning at 5:45, 6 and 6:15 and late is 7:45, 8, 8:15. Dosen't sound too drastic. But it can make the servers night that much longer.

I like the idea of convenience, but not the idea of possible grouchy servers.
