Hi! As usual I wasn't getting my emails about any recent posts.

Amanda (Dzne ) : got the pillowcase! Krystina loves it. THANKS! One question, though.......will the autographs hold up through regular washings?

Amanda01: your babies are beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!! My "baby" is right here next to me (my cat, KC) while the other one sleeps peacefully in her room (Krystina). Glad to see I'm not the only one who's cat sleeps with her! My kitty always sleeps on my side of the bed or on our headboard (bookshelf type) BUT she is going to be SSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO UPSET on Monday when the new furniture comes and there is NO room on the headboard for her to sleep on (sleigh bed)!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess she'll just have to snuggle up on my pillow like she used to all those years ago when she was just a little kitten. Can't believe she's been with me now for over 7 years! Here's a picture I took using the sepia mode in my camera. It doesn't do her justice. She's a chocolate point siamese, but she must be mixed cause she's got the real long coat (like a himalayan).

I know this may sound crazy to some but we have 5 kitty's! It started out very harmless, but then we saw a homeless kitten and then another and so on. We are suckers for anyone in need of love.

Krystina'sMommy- They all have thier place on the bed with me if DH falls asleep on the couch. I have to roll over very carefullly!

I'm exhausted! The party went very well yesterday. The ham was a hit. I soaked it in water 24 hrs. before cooking and then 30 min. before serving I put a light baste of the sauce. The sauce consisted of cranberry sauce, a little yellow mustard (for tang), lime juice, and ground up cloves. The sauce made the ham very attractive and the ham dissapeared! I thought I'd have enough left overs for left overs...all well. Enough about me...

Leonor- HI! Glad your out there! Could you sepia mode us a photo of Krystina's pillow? KC face reminds me of the siameses from the original 101 Dalmantion movie.

Amanda01- how's your BF's husband doing?

hi all! That was me that added the 2004 to my OP! After I booked the same week this year, I just thought I had better clarify! LOL My thread going for that week only has 1 other poster besides myself! Maybe we will have the whole ship to ourselves!
Leonor, the pillowcase and the signatures do well with regular washings. I even use clorox on mine. I just keep a package of color sharpies, and if I notice one needs touching up, I do the job myself And my parents said my forgery skills would do me no good in life!
Taeja, no tentative agreement from DH on a another cruise yet?
Jennifer, hopefully that fireman statue will be just the trick to go ahead and get your DH to commit ot a sailing in 2006. As of now I have 05/27 and 09/16 booked. Mrs Amanda01 BETTER get on the ball and book the 09/16 sailing also, as that is the only reason I booked that week also.
Cyndi, I know you are probably super busy trying to get back in routine after your cruise, but I would love to see some photos!
Amanda, I 2nd the question about your BF husband. any word?

Just a quick note to see how everyone is doing/coping with the COLD weather spell. Who's gotten the most snow? TaeJa? I saw on the news that somewhere in Indiana they got 2ft of snow! I loved it living in Ft Wayne as a kid, but don't think I'd appreciate it now as an adult (having to drive around in it & stuff). Well, it was a WARM 75 degrees here today (as is the outlook for tomorrow), but don't worry we are supposed to have 40 degree highs by Thursday & Friday. That's REALLY cold for us down here!
I will try to get a pic of Krystina's pillowcase & post it soon.

BF DH is doing much better. He came home on Friday which really helped his spirits. They think it was a combination of medication that caused the heart attack. There are so many test being run it may be weeks before they get any answers.

Amanda- I will be booking our cruise after christmas. So there!

The weather here is borning, 35 degrees, some rain, no snow. I just wish it would snow for christmas. It seems that the city pretty much shuts down for the holiday so why not have some snow to look at while were all home! And that's my christmas wish!

taeja71-So happy to hear that the party was a success.

Wish me luck I have to go to the post office and the mall today! I know it's crazy but I just want to be like everyone else! Not really, I just got a gift certificate and want to blow it all on me!!! Hope everyone has a "Wonder"ful day!

Well, I didn't hear about the 2ft of snow in IN. If info is not reported on Nick Jr. or the other kids' channels, I won't hear about it. I'm lucky if I get the short news shorts on the radio in the van. Between driving and policing the kids in the back its almost impossible to hear a 15 sec. weather report. Any way, yesterday was about 17 degrees and today's supposed to be 45 degrees. We only got a dusting of snow early Sunday morning, but boy was it cold! Some day I'll live in a warmer climate again.

Good luck to every one getting into the end stretch of the holiday season! You can do it!

Hey gang!

Just a quick post... not a whole lot going on around here! Thank goodness right? LOL We got around an in of snow here in the mtns of NC, locally there were higher amounts in certain areas that get more than we do! I started my time off today from work! We were closed for snow (I work at a day care) yesterday, open today and closed the rest of the week LOL. I'm excited to have 3 days off plus the weekend.

I'm getting excited for the big Christmas reveal of the firefighter w/ Mickey stature (courtsey of Amanda's recent trip on the Magic!!) The boys are getting excited, and it is way too cute to hear Alex say "merwee cristhmaths" to everyone!

We will be booking our Sept cruise after the holidays! It will be the 19th as well!!! Wooo hooo a reunion! LOL and perhaps this time, I'll manage to make it to the meeting!

Welcome aboard mom2sean_n_alex! I think we should all go on the 9-16 cruise! That way we can just keep this thread going! Well yesterday I went to the mall and post office the second they opened and let me tell ya that is the way to go! There was no one in either place. The post office was growing a small line and the mall had a few people in it. But the sales staff at the mall were very nice and extreamly helpful. It was a great surprize! Hope everyone has a great day and remember just 3 more days till christmas!!!!!

All of DH's presents are for the computer, so needless to say I will be lucky if I get to use it on Christmas day. Either way I am so excited for him to open his presents. I have him thinking that some of the items on his list were to expensive and that I didn't get them. I ever went so far as to tell him this and that maybe when we get our tax returns he can get it then.

I have other evil plans as well for another gift. This is so much fun!

If only. DH had a very detailed computer parts christmas list. Our depo for the cruise will be made between Jan and March. Have to pay off christmas debt first and then we'll send you the comfirmation. But trust me we WILL be on that ship!!
