All of this chocolate talk is not boding well for my diet. I'm tempted to run out to World Cost Plus Market to see if they have some of the goodies people are posting about.

Just wanted to share a few photos from our visit today to the Happiest Place on Earth!

It looks like your girls had a fabulous time with all the character interaction!

Hi Lisa

I wasn't going to miss this trip even of traveling solo. I know I will have a great time with my fellow disers!

Karen

Me too!! LOL it didn't take me long to cave and change my dummy date!
I am yet anotehr who believes buck eyes are better than PB cups:love: I add a cup of rice krispies to the PB/butter/powdered sugar mixture we really like that extra crunch. Thinkin' pink Kimbery:rolleyes1

Did you debut that pink dress on the DD? LOL I kept looking for pink at the late dinner seating on formal night and semi formal night. The rice krispies sound like a good idea in the buckeyes as well.

I am trying it this way!!!
What a cutie!

Oh when I went to Wisconsin last summer, we went to the Jelly Belly factory. We brought home 4 big bags of Jelly Belly Flops. I think they are each 5 pounds in weight....that created some cause for creative luggage packing allocations! My co-workers LOVED me for months!

Ok dumb blonde moment what is a jelly belly flop?
Wow this thread moves!
Count us in for this cruise:thumbsup2 I still need to talk to my son's school about him missing 3 weeks of 2nd grade, but I think they will work with us for such an incredible experience. We'll be in cabin 6092.

Names: Dan, DW Cheryl, DS Daniel

Welcome aboard :thumbsup2 :cool1:

So, how many people are doing a one week Euro vacation in front of this cruise?

Hey Capt. Thanks for the Cuban on the 5 night:thumbsup2 It was the best cigar I ever had:worship:

Welcome! I don't know how many are doing a one week Euro vacation - but it seems there are a few of us doing the last 10night Med cruise right before this one.

They are the jelly belly "rejects" generally for having a funny shape. They still taste great. They are sold in big bags at the Jelly Belly jelly bean factory.

Basically if we did teams then you would share either the work load and or the cost of the item.

We can do individual gifts but then we can also do team gifts for those who want to do it together.

For instance, if a couple of people wanted to do something personalized for each person or cabin....then they can share the cost. One thing we had gotten on the EB TA was a personalized with pen with the sailing dates and stuff. It was adorable. It could be agreed upon and the cost shared.

Let me know if you want me to head this or if someone else wants it. I am happy to do but I did not go through each thread very carefully to see if anyone else wanted it.

I am happy to organize he FE lists. It might be easier if I am posting them on the website too. Just let me know what you all decide

I am pretty free this weekend. I can start adding all of that to the site today and tomorrow. I did my mom duty for hte weeking going ot the first showing of High School Musical 3 this am. It was adorable!

Also, can I get an updated list of DIS Names & First names to add to the site?

Let's take a vote on if we want to do "team gifts" or individual gifts.

I vote for individual gifts :thumbsup2 :)

On the WB 2008 repo we had one team per day and then others did individual FE treats. My team, a group of 11, designed a mouse-pad, one per family and gave those out.

I found it so much fun to check the FE every time I opened the door, so I'm more inclined to do individual ones.

Also, I was thinking about the candy exchange... how about a candy tasting? That way you're not bringing a whole bunch of candy, just enough to share with a group?

Thanks for the thought Sarah but I can only have prescription food, so I wont be able to participate but I may drop by just to see what kinds of unusual things people bring. I would like that.:goodvibes

Kathy

Good idea. That way you can laugh at us all being pigs

Oooh, do you know what is my FAVORITE treat by Kinder (actually Ferrero)?!

PENGUI! OMG, we used to be able to get these too, but now we can't. I could eat a whole pack before I could blink! :rotfl:

OK never seen these! ARG The Kinder Beuno and the Kind Happy Hippoes are so good though

I say we just do it both ways. I guess it really does not matter. When signing up then you can either be placed on a team or just say you are doing individual.

My vote is for individual for our family. :thumbsup2

I think a candy tasting is a great idea!

Actually that might be easier. Also DBF has said does it have to be candy or just some speciality from your area?

I am definitely in on the FE fun! I'm already looking around for a creative thing to make for you guys!

I also loved opening the door or coming back to surprises!!! We had about 56 families participating. At times, we would have something new show up every 15 minutes! :goodvibes

Personally, I would prefer not to have a designated day, either. IMO, there is no need to give anyone stress about a delivery requirement. I just dropped gifts off when I had 30 minutes here or there. Within 3 days, they were all distributed. Not only that, being I just recently had the experience of being sick with bronchitis while on board, that dragged me down, and I would have felt bad if I missed "my day" for delivering.

I agree. With 14 days I think everyone can figure out there own day. We assigned days on our last cruise. I was the one who organized it and I almost forgot on my day! :scared1: Plus there will be some many different things going on, some days busier then others so everyone can just do their own thing. IMO

I came make the roster on the website for the gift exchange. I am also thinking that I will put a little Mickey icon or something on those names on the roll call who are participating.

I agree with individual gifts. I'll have to start buying now.

Bev

It's sold nationwide, but I'm sure it is limited. In fact, it's sold on QVC. (You should all know...I'm a QVC Queen. I get so much stuff from them that ranges from vitamins to shampoo and from pillows to camcorders!)

Count me in as a QVC Queen. Matter of fact, just got done ordering some more Disney jewelry.
