Weird question are you back home in the UK? Do you have Virgin broadband? Trying to work out if its the website or virgin having issues

No problem with accessing the (very good) website from here. Yes we are in a very cold very wet Manchester England. Not using virgin though.

I think DW has emailed photo and details for the roll call, she does technical things like that, I am a technological dinosaur who can remember the first word processors and mobile phones bigger than your briefcase.

How daes jet lag work for you Americans coming to Europe, when we come To Florida we spend the first week waking up at 4.30 AM, guess this wont be a problem on the transatlantic as time to adjust. Do you find you dont wake up till lunchtime on the first few days?

For me, its Taco Bell and Reece's Peanut Buttercups - can't get either here so they are first stops when we are in the US. From the UK, its Mr Kipling's Cherry Bakewell Tarts - I love them, can't get them here either

Remind me closer to the cruise and I will bring bakewells, aren't they just a joy, about to eat one with my late morning coffee.

You can't get Reese's Peanut Buttercup or Taco Bell! OMG! I never thought about not being able to get those where you live!

Hmmmm...I've never been to the UK so I don't know what Mr Kipling's Cherry Bakewell Tarts are...but I do like cherries, so I would give them a try!

I am sooooo happy that everyone can access the site now!!!! I have called my guys everyday looking for some sort of answer.

Yes, can someone please send me the details to the DL meet. I will add that this am along with all of the emails I have gotten. I have been slower on updates bc I was so discouraged with so many who could not get on.

I want to get it all updated this am bc we are this afternoon for Mickey Halloween Treat at DCA tonight then at day at DL tomorrow.

Oh I would love to meet at DL this Spring. I do not know when it is planned but I have two weeks in MArch and we plan to go to the LAND!! I have the second two weeks off every March. Is that when it is?

As for my parents, my Mom was in a panic when she called from Atlanta. Her flight from AZ was Airtran and was scheduled to leave at 10PM (plenty of time to get to Orlando and be the first or second boarding number - which we like to be). Her flight was delayed until 12:30 ish at night because a junior high group was running late and it was the last flight out on Airtran. Well that obviously caused then to miss there connecting flight as well as some other cruisers that were with them. Then in Atlanta they were bribing people to get of the next flight to Orlando which would be cutting it close and they would get there by about 1PM. My mom called and was so upset but they had Disney book their air so I called the cruise and let them know several members were running late. Then she called me again at 1:00 and said they got all the other cruiser on the flight but could not fit them so now they were waiting for the next flight that would not land in MCO until shortly after 4PM. I called the cruise again and let them know the status and they said it would be OK they would be waiting for them and they did - it was my parents that got on the ship at about 5:30. If the ship had left with out them it would have been days before they got to a port that they could get on because they would not fly them into Castaway and then they ship had 6? sea days or something. I think I will always go in several days early or have Disney book the flight because that saved them!

OH post pictures and tell all when you get home! We were going to MNSSHP in WDW but it was raining right before it started so we opted out and decided to go to DL instead. Then I got home and found out they are only running then during the week and I can't get there until a weekend so no Halloween magic for us this year. I am so disappointed. I can now live the magic through you!!!

So my foot is healed. Can I redo the EB Panama canal cruise with a healed foot and my parents actually in attendance??

I just hope we all make it on this cruise and are healthy for it. Getting to the Panama canal cruise was enough to put me over the edge and we all did not make it. Plus I had a broken foot. I had a fantastic time, but getting to that point was ridiculous.

I see lots of familiar faces around here.

DH Mike and I have the first cruise to Tortola to look forward to between now and the TA.

We will be using the TA to celebrate our 30th anniversary which is actually the week before. I am still hoping to fly to London or Dublin the week before the cruise and spend some time there, but Mike is concerned with taking that much time away from work.

I rarely post. I too am trying to change my ways for this cruise! Is there a support program for us as well? Terminally shy DIS posters?

I can finally get on to the website! Is there a link for the forum on there? I think that the forum would be a very useful tool to keep all the "important" information together so that we don't lose it while we all visit. We could have threads for Barcelona and all the ports: excursions, shopping, eating, tips, etc.

I had a hard time on the Westbound PC thread finding things that I knew had been posted and I can already tell that 18 months from now I won't be able to find the wonderful information that has already been shared here.

ATTENTION ATTENTION

So far , we have 2 meets planned ....we have one for Dec 21st (Sunday) WDW most likely at MK there will be a few Pirates from the EBPC cruise there along with new recruits as well ....

Now , on the West Coast it has been a tradition for the last 2 years and this one coming up will be the third DIS meet in March ...It will be March 14th at Disneyland ....We still havent decided if this was going to be in the park or out of the park due to wether or not the majority wanted to meet in or out Last year we had , I think 30 some people and we all went to BB for dinner and was great , even went for a ride on POTC , Cause thats what Pirates do (and I will let someone else tell the story about that lol ) and we are a bunch of Pirates right .... So once again

Pirates DIS meet in WDW Dec 21st (Sunday)

Pirates DIS meet in DLR March 14th (Saturday)

Complete details will be available as we draw closer to these dates

I will be attending both ...

It might be your router if your using one , or the DNS severs in your area havent been reset ... I had been having some issues with my router , nothing big or anything but I went to apple today to replace it and so far everything has been running great , and now I can get to the website , I dont know if that had to do with the router or not cause I did call Cox and asked if they would reset the dns server in my area ..so who knows ...Im just happy its working now ...

WOHOW guessing the problem has sorted itself this side of the pond as its working today

Sarah, where did you work at WDW? I did two college programs - I was a character greeter in spring of 2002 and 2003. I loved it!

I worked in EPCOT at the Rose & Crown from Sept 03-04. I did the International Programme. It was fantastic!
