I was in the commons. I had 2 americans sharing my apartment however as they ran out of room in Chatham and Vista. It was really nice in Vista. I do still keep in touch with a few of them, though should really email them more lol. My two best friends from the programme are both in London (around 3 hours away) so dont see them very often.

Its nice they were in your wedding!

One of my good friends from 'home' lived in the Commons during my first program. When I had problems with my roommates, I crashed on her sofa for a couple of days. I liked The Commons too!

We are really looking forward to it and are traveling with some friends who have never been on a cruise before... Who knows, maybe they will become addicted like us, and join us in 2010!

Thanks everyone who has posted about their past experiences in our ports of call, it really is nice to read all about where we are going. I know it will help us decide on what to do and where to go when the time comes.

ATTENTION ATTENTION

So far , we have 2 meets planned ....we have one for Dec 21st (Sunday) WDW most likely at MK there will be a few Pirates from the EBPC cruise there along with new recruits as well ....

Now , on the West Coast it has been a tradition for the last 2 years and this one coming up will be the third DIS meet in March ...It will be March 14th at Disneyland ....We still havent decided if this was going to be in the park or out of the park due to wether or not the majority wanted to meet in or out Last year we had , I think 30 some people and we all went to BB for dinner and was great , even went for a ride on POTC , Cause thats what Pirates do (and I will let someone else tell the story about that lol ) and we are a bunch of Pirates right .... So once again

Pirates DIS meet in WDW Dec 21st (Sunday)

Pirates DIS meet in DLR March 14th (Saturday)

Complete details will be available as we draw closer to these dates

I will be attending both ...

Hi all just wondering from all those who have done this cruise if they can remember how accessible places were. I will be using a scooter. A few steps is not a big issue for hubby as long as there are not lots of few steps. I find it so hard to figure out which excursions I can go on. So we never do. But on a positive side gives me more time to jewelry shop. Thanks

We had so much fun on the segeways, we'll ge doing it again. We learned more about the city on this tour than any of the other ones we took and once we got out of the narrow streets they took them off slow and let us go as fast as we wanted! We even got to go down a small flight of stairs. DH loved the part when we went to the beach (you know about their beaches, correct?) The company is Barcelona Glides

We are arriving on the 27th but going to Vero Beach. We will be in WDW staying at SSR Dec 4-7th than home where are you heading after the cruise maybe a meet on the 6th we are planning (subject to change) on going to Epcot on the 6th.

I wonder if there are any threads still available from the previous European repos. Going to have to check that out.

THere is a thread at the top of the main cruise forum that has links to all the trip reports, navigators, excursion info sheets and some blogs in it. One of the links for the reports was where everyone would share information on what they had researched for the med/TA cruises. HTH.

So my foot is healed. Can I redo the EB Panama canal cruise with a healed foot and my parents actually in attendance??

I just hope we all make it on this cruise and are healthy for it. Getting to the Panama canal cruise was enough to put me over the edge and we all did not make it. Plus I had a broken foot. I had a fantastic time, but getting to that point was ridiculous.

I see lots of familiar faces around here.

But then you wouldn't have gotten all the attention that you did in RBD by dancing everynight with your crutches!!!


Glad to hear the foot has healed. How's your dad???

We see you too I know what you mean about the foot , I broke me pinky toe in Aruba and it sucked ...its alot better today just looks a little deformed ....

I was wondering about your foot after I read Becky's post.
