I just wanted to let everyone know that I added these to the photobucket account. They have NO BACKGROUND. You can place these on top of something without having a white box in the background.

FYI, if you book via Disney, they will get you on the ship. Pam, AKA DisneySweetie missed her flight into Barcelona (she was supposed to get in 1 day early) due to an awful storm at JFK, but with the help of a wonderful friend (Dopeylovr54) thanks guys! I would never have known what to do - she ended up getting to Barcelona in First Class (Still jealous -- I haven't done First Class ever!!!) the morning of the ship's departure.

And yes, we boarded the ship on Saturday and left on Sunday. We were able to get off the ship (guys - remember the missed drill? ) and return later in the evening. Pam and several other Disney guests were picked up at the airport the following morning by a DCL rep. Seems that about 125 people missed their connections. Even though she (Pam) did not have DCL transfers, she lucked out due to Dopeylover getting in contact with the DCL reps and explaining the situation. They informed us, who we in turned texted her, to meet up with the DCL rep at the airport, she did and she was allowed on the bus due to them contacting and explaining the situation. So while this was extremely scary as this was her first International solo flight, she was very lucky that others missed it too and was still able to catch up with us.

Wow, scary, huh? Thanks for the info! I am going to try to book us a direct flight that gets in a day or 2 before the cruise. We've flown internationally to Canada and Mexico pre-9/11, but not since or to Europe so I feel like a complete and total noob.

Except when I was playing around with flights, a one-way direct flight from either EWR or JFK was $1600+, but a R/T direct flight was in the $800 range? Wow, do I feel inept.

I am tempted to have Disney book the airfare, but gulp. I don't trust them to not stick me in the back o'the plane, with a 12 hour layover, leaving my house at 3 am, etc. And I'd like to be able to upgrade at check-in, if it's available. Anyone price First/Business Class full fare tickets? Double Gulp!

Clearly, I have a LOT to learn!

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let you know that I will not be able to make roll call updates for up to 72 hours. Hopefully it will not take that long but that is the worst case. I switch our hosting from windows to linux so I have to wait for them to switch everything over before I can upload any updates.

Keep emailing them though. I will work on them as I get them. Then when the account is up and running again I will have the file ready to upload. Just don't worry if you do not see your stuff up there in the next day or so. I promise I will have it up there as soon as I can.

Looks great , but the graphic you did is blurry

resizing issues in photobucket. I need to find the exact right size and resize from the main file. I just keep resizing and resizing from the same file and photobucket is not good with that. Still trying to make it perfect!

Might resort to doing it all in photoshop and just uploading the file to photobucket.

Thats what I do , I resize in PS first then upload , by the way I am close to the cleaned up version of the cruise logo , making an 800dpi file for later (these work best for banners and tshirts for printers) and changing some wording around and redoing the skull and crossbones to be a mix of DMC =Dead Mans Chest and AWE = At Worlds End ....

I have checked out Air Transat prices for Montreal-Barcelona direct, for this month of October 2008, to get an idea of possible September pricing and the price is $272 CDN per person, all taxes in. Those who live in border states may consider this as an option. I imagine September pricing would be similar since everyone is back from holidays in Canada. I may book the air through Disney as a safety net, because it is under $1000 PP, which is not that bad, considering there is a Transatlantic flight involved, and we can cancel and pay for it only in 2010.

BTW, we were also on the EB Panama; unfortunately, I never bothered to check Disboards before our cruise and then saw all those great banners and magnets on stateroom doors. I will be ready in 2010, however.

When I read this I found it funny... We were also on the EB Panama and also didn't check Disboards before our cruise and also plan to be ready in 2010!!
