I haven't done SM before but it sounds like fun.

Cabin Crawl sounds like fun. We are in a std cat 11. Our first cruise was in a Cat 3, 2nd in a Cat 6, 3rd & 4th in a Cat 11 . As they say, I'd rather be on the ship in a shoebox than not on the ship at all!

Its' only been 4 days since I posted someone and I can't believe that you're already on page 172. I'm sure I missed alot and won't even try to go back and read them.
I had mentioned before that I am not computer savvy and had never done this before...it just amazes me how much info everyone can share and I can see how easy it is to get to know everyone. I look forward to seeing what I can add and getting to know as many of you as possible.(although it will most likely be my sister, Marilyn, who will be able to offer the right info(she is the computer savvy one and been on so many cruise. I think she is averaging about 4 a year.)
I also mentioned our Halloween Party...It was fabulous(Pig Roast and all), so we have decided to make that a tradition now that we have the pit in our yard. So...again, anyone in the area that can make it next year....it will be on the 30th(We couldn't miss the 31st with our daughter...we have a ball with the kids)...and it will of course be a pirates theme, which will get us even more geared up for the cruise.

But if you see me type it , it usually means Sweet Melissa for my DW ... i dont know where that nick name started but it was somewhere on a Disney Cruise ... I just dont know which one ...

I think we'll need the 'normal' cat 7 also (I know I want to see one). Mine is the most forward of the cat 7's and has a different verandah than the regular navigators verandah. Are we neighbors...I'm 7620.

Well I voted last month. Our total time for elections is six weeks. Election called first week in September election day October 14th. Now that is what I call short and sweet.

Now what will CNN be able to talk about after the elections. I swear us Canuks no more about your US Elections than we do our own

Voting here is about waiting in long lines. The polls opened at 7 this morning and at 5:30 there were already about 200 people in front of me. Only took about 45 minutes once they opened. My son went at noon and waited 30 minutes. Interesting because we are in a suburb of Washington and it is not convenient for people to come home in the middle of the day to vote and then go back to work.

The more I read on these boards, the luckier I feel knowing you all and traveling with you. Nobody is perfect in this world and we all have little quirks. Hey I am the weirdo that already has the departure stickers made out! I am sure I can be labeled something. YOU ARE ALL GREAT AND DON'T LET ANYBODY TELL YOU DIFFERENTLY - QUIRKS AND ALL! I enjoy reading the boards more then sitting around the table with some family members. I have had a rough day - after that wonderful closing on Friday and my dog needs surgery next Monday, my tax bill came and was $5,000 more then budget AND Abby stabbed herself with a pencil! I cannot take all of this! Thank you for making me smile!

I have late seating - is that the crew?

I'd also like to participate in the SM this time around. I didn't participate in this on my DD (did the FE but not the SM). I do remember that the DIS'ers participating in the SM on our DD completed a questionnaire which was then passed on to their SM. Not sure what was on the questionnaire but I still post on our old thread (as to a couple of other's here) so if you are interested let us know.

Thank you - yes, today has been wonderful! From the time I parked my car to vote to when I left the parking lot was 4 minutes and 16 seconds. It was great! I live in a suburb and thought it would be more crowded, but they had tons of seats and tons of space to vote. Of course, it is Florida so maybe later we will hear that there was a problem.

I work nights so I was 2nd in line for voting this morning

We are considering doing the 7 night Western in early March or late January next year. Have any of you done this cruise? Thoughts on it? I would like to try the 7 day before I do a 14 day... I just can't decide if we want to WDW or Cruise for next year.

No, I don't know why they do that; perhaps one of the more experienced cruisers could tell us??

I waited over 2 hours in line to vote this am. But I did vote!
