In one week I will be on a plane to Barcelona.

I had my follow up appointment today and I am cleared to go. It also means I am cleared to go back to work. So I have 4 days of work and then on to my trip.

I probably have tons to do in those four days. Plus I still tire easily and have some pain. I am only human and can only do what I can do. If it doesn't get done it will have to wait until after the trip or someone else will have to do it. I feel really guilty about it but I know I can only do so much.

I have lots to do for the trip as well. As long as all 4 of us make it to the ship and the entire trip and we remain healthy and our luggage makes it the whole way that is all I really care about at this point.

If you do have room in your baggage for the tools and would be able to lend them to me for the workshops, this would be absolutely perfect. I would really appreciate this.

On dinning rooms I am easy going, I just pefer the dinning rooms with windows.

I will be in Buffalo adjusting my body clock, this time next week, before starting this amazing journey, I guess it is time to get the suitcase out, sigh.....

Becky, I know what you mean. You can only do what you can do. I didn't plan on being out this week, but oh well. If your sick, your sick.

I'm going in for a half day tomorrow and try to sort out and get the important stuff done. I am not working on my cruise. Not happening. So whatever doesn't get done, doesn't get done.

I would suggest you make a list of all that you would like to do before the cruise. And then put a star in front of what you can reasonabily expect to accomplish and then half that. That's what you will get done. And the rest will be your to-do list when you get back.

CONGRATS on getting the clearance to travel!!! Of course, getting that clearance still in no way means that you are back to 100% so please continue to take it easy. Sorry you have to head back to work but remember again to take it slow and know that you can only get so much done. what's that saying - every rose has it's thorn.

You have only one real priority which is to stay healthy and well for yourself and your family for this trip!! Whatever work you can accomplish within reason, should be your goal.

Personally, I think you have a healthy attitude about your goals for work and your trip. Just my thoughts....

What is the Fat Loss of Idiots diet? Thought I had heard and tried them all. I have been on a "sensible diet" (according to my stupid doctors) for 3 months and lost almost nothing. The last 7 days I have been on the cabbage soup diet and lost more then I did in 3 months - I know it is probably water loss but I'm not going to listen to reason. I would love to know about another diet - unless it has the word cabbage in it. val

Fat Loss for Idiots is a calorie tricking/calorie skipping diet. Basically, you pick foods from a column of proteins/fats and foods from a carb column. Then it creates a diet for you. It's 4 meals a day, and you do it for 11 days and then cheat for 3. And, I'll be honest with you: Day 2 and Day 8 of the diet suck, but I think that is what really helps jump start weight loss.

I can send you a PM on it if you want to pick your foods. Once you pick your foods, then I can generate a menu for you. Only problem is that the menu is too big for PM, so I'd have to email it to you.

And, I promise, there is no cabbage on this diet!

Me!!! My youngest son went back to school today and within minutes of the car leaving the drive, I had stripped his bed, dumped two cases in there and piled my cruise clothes on the mattress!!!

Sorry to hear you took it so badly when he left!!

Ok, I know you can all beat me with a stick when you see me, but I just have to say this:

I have worked in the hospitality industry before and EVERYTHING you do is subject to change. There is no cruise ship, hotel or even a football event that caters to a group like ours. We work around them, they (DCL) don't work around us. I just want to say that and no, I do not work for DCL, but to give them the benefit of the doubt, it may seem that they are trying to ruffle our feathers or mess with us, but trust me, in the long run, they are probably doing something that makes the trip better that we are not even aware of.

Okay, back to the regular disboards and I hope no one hates me!!

Disney Magic please take me away!!!! So, I was in the ER most of the night last night with my DD 4 yr old. She has croup and couldn't breathe! It was so scary!! They put her on breathing treatments and gave her steroids. Then we went to the pediatrician today and gave her more. They said she should be fine by next week. I'm just praying that our DS 1 yr old won't get this! They said it will be much more serious if he does. My DH flew out this morning. I'm so glad it was before he left for a few days. Well, I'm literally just dreaming of the Magic!!!

So sorry! Will keep you all in our prayers. Hugs for the little ones!

He went into the hospital today to have a stent placed in his heart to eliminate a blockage. Unfortunately, the procedure did not work and he has now been transferred to the Univ. of Penn Hospital and will undergo open heart surgery tomorrow. His name is Eric and his wife is Karen and they have two adorable little girls (Bonnie and Annabelle) who are 8 and 5.

Please send your prayers that everything turns out well.

Each restaurant has a menu/show that is unique to that restaurant. For instance the color show in AP. PC has a Caribbean theme meal and some fun. Each restaurant will have to do their theme show/menu 3 times so that each group gets to participate in each as we rotate thru. Not sure I explained that so that it is understandable.

6 days folks, and my list is not shrinking... And, on top of my vacation list I also have work!! sheesh!! I still have about 20 things to do!!! Seriously - how the heck did I get so far behind?

I was finally able to do a training session with my cover for vacation. He picked it up very well, I am the Adobe/Microsoft/Thomas Reuters software license co-ordinator for a university of 60,000 students plus staff and Faculty. My manager will be taking over all my Apple buying, but he used to do that job, so no training for him, lol.

If not, I'm sunk. AND I think I just might have to take mismatched luggage But I need two huge bags to check and then I need a pretty good sized one to carry on and then I need my laptop bag as my personal item.

My case is full and I don't have my gowns, dinner wear, shoes or jeans packed. Only one week of underwear, no pirate outfit, no hair dryer!, no makeup. However, I do have all my fish extender gifts and the stuff for our door!!! Priorities...

My Disney luggage is adorable and green but this is a job for Travelpro.

Thanks everyone for all the prayers. She's done better tonight than last night. So, praying through the night goes better. I can't take another 3 hr night of sleep! Thank God my DH comes home tomorrow night! She totally didn't want to take her medicine tonight and I told her this was the only way we were going to get to go on the cruise is if she took it so she got better. It worked! =) Then DS saw she was getting something and thought he was missing out. So, he was crying because he wanted the medicine. I was like I must be on a show where one is crying because they don't want the medicine. The other doesn't know what medicine is but is crying because he doesn't get any.
