TODAYS WEIGH IN:

199.5 POUNDS

FIRST TIME UNDER 200 POUNDS IN YEARS. I WEIGHED 236 POUNDS, TWO YEARS AGO, WHEN I RETIRED.

I AM DOWN FROM 215 POUNDS IN JANUARY, 2010 :dance3:

NOW I NEED TO KEEP IT OFF FOR THE NEXT THREE WEEKS. :)

Congrats!!!!!
I'd be more concerned about the two weeks after that!!! :lmao:

Well I'm just back from a very successful shop at Marks and Spencer sale!!!

2 Skirts, 1 pair of trousers, 4 T shirts(one purple for Villains night), 2 jumpers with necklaces(ready for our return to Autumn weather) and 2 pairs of very nice wedge shoes(one pair is a black smart pair).

Main problem is they all fit!!!:scared1::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Oh dear.

Trying to catch up after it going down for Maintanance during my catch up this morning

I am way behind in reading (like page 16) as life has been moving too fast for me this weekend/week

BUT I wanted to let everyone know that the wristbands are in! I will begin packaging them and mailing them to those who requested and sorting the rest to distribute on board!

Krisann

Thats great news!

Wow...we ordered new luggage today......This past weekend DW told me since we are only going to check 2 pieces of luggage to Spain we should consider buying new lightweight luggage. OK....I agree....so last night we go to Kohls and they have nice 29" lightweight Samsonite on salefor $239.00...normally $399....so we decide to think about it....so today I go on the Kohls website and the same luggage is on sale for $180.00....and in 3 colors--not the 1 color they had in the store. So....I get free shipping cause it is over $75.00....and we get an additional 15% off since DW has a coupon....so the $399.00 luggage costs me $153 each....yes....I bought 2.....one in blue for me and one in dark pink for DW...so with tax it came to $332.00 for both....but wait.....there is more....we got Kohls cash....for every $50.00 you spend you get a coupon for $10.00 for a future purchase....so we got $60.00 in Kohls cash.....so basically I got $800.00 of luggage for $270.00....may bring some of the money I saved and might just spend it on the ship....so if you need luggage...check out Kohls.com......I think we got an awesome deal!
Tom & Marilou

Thats fab!

No upgrades available....just got off the phone with DCL Castaway Club....just wanted to see if anything changed and an upgrade got a little more reasonable.....told that there are no upgrades available....nothing....nata......so we will be very comfortable in stateroom 2000....surrounded by fellow Disborders.....
Tom & Marilou

Oh and DCL website is now saying not available so i think we sold out people!

Had a bit of a sad day today, I had to take my elderly cat to the vet as he had gone off his food. He already was on medication for kidney failure and after discussing with the vet, we decided the kindest course of action was to put him to sleep. He was 15 years old and the sweetest boy. We will miss him. :sad1:

Oh I'm so sorry Paula! I think you made the best choice though I'm sure it was a hard one for you all! It had a good inings and he knew how much you loved him!

Don't known if it's just me, but I have the HARDEST time with not overpacking..the flight suitcase restrictions are killin' me! I am used to having one suitcase for shoes and one for accessories and toiletries!! And now they all have to be in ONE!!:scared1: well, one and a half as I am packig for my DBF and does he really neeeeeed a whole suitcase?:rotfl2:

I have GOT to work on this...I'm getting a migrane! :sad2:

LOL me too! I am definately getting stuck on this!

That is perhaps just as well as I`d always intended to upgrade at the port. However the meltdown DH would have just wouldn`t be a pretty sight LOL!
On our Baltic cruise I went off to check on an upgrade and DD (the rat!) phoned her Dad saying tell Mum not to do it.

Marilyn - great news on the M&S sale, I`d read on MSE it was starting today but seeing as I don`t need anything...

Paula - so sorry about the pitty - put. We`ve always had cats and they do break your heart.

ReAnSt - Great news that everything went well.

This afternoon I`m having a final go at getting all phone calls, printing off and booking things done. Heck - the organization this trip has taken. Are we there yet

Paula so sorry about your fur baby:hug:

I tried to find a list of the van we are in for Madiera can only point me in the right driection.

I never knew about magnets:scared1: Is it all magnets or a certain size.

Anyone know if our If Helen got all her needed docs for the cruise have not heard from the Captain so I am hoping so.

I am bring my tiara that I got married in. 13 years ago and one day. How sad is it that both of us got up for work. Hubby drove me to work and I did not remember it was was our anniversary until an hour later:scared1:

So I call hubby and we both laughed :lovestruc

Thats wonderful - way to go Danny!

Thats totally awful customer service IMO.

I work in an IT firm and that is a commonly used phrase in the office - love Little Britain!

Nice to hear you are settling in well and you have your belongings with you again - no doubt its starting to feel like home. I was thinking about you guys yesterday and wondering how you were getting on.

So we are going to really enjoy our cat 11 stateroom - heck, we are on the ship and we probably won't spend any time in it anyways except to sleep.

Glad to hear it went well and thanks for letting us know. I've kept you in my thoughts.

Paula, i really understand your sense of loss, I had to make the same hard decision in April. My beautiful Burmese, Misty, had been my constant companion for over 19 years. I still miss him but am now looking forward to bringing my new cat home after our trip.

So sorry for your loss, Paula :flower3:. They certainly do become part of the family. We had to put our 15 yo dog to sleep in 1994 and the memory of that day still bring tears to my eyes.

I have an appointment with my endocrinologist tomorrow. I'm planning on discussing many things with her about my thyroid problem as well as my PCOS. I'm hoping she'll be able to shed some light (or at least offer some advice) as to why I can't seem to lose weight even though I've been trying for over a year. I've been considering going on an injection that may help with weight loss because of the PCOS...I'm going to talk to her about that too. Cross your fingers it all works out well.

P&PD they figure things out for you.
