Perhaps we need a list of people with 'just in case' clothes we can go and raid. You know, like the medicine chest!!!
I believe they are already conversing Angie. They had the name some weeks ago. I believe it is, or at least was, on page 1.
Plenty of boozy days ahead it won't matter how rough the seas are!!!![]()
as for warm clothing on the cruise - here is what I ended up doing on the EBTA - I brought all kinds of warm clothes "just in case" and here was the thing - on the sea days we were inside most of the time and wore shorts/capris and short sleeve shirts as the ship inside is kept at a degree where having shorts on was very comfortable. So if you normally are cold inside the ship when you sail - do what you would normally do - the only night I wore some layers was Pirate Night on deck to watch the fireworks. so if you like to spend evenings out on the deck - bring some warmer clothes (or as others do - just use a blanket (DCL laid them out for use at quiet cove - even during the days when it was a little cooler - still I was in shorts, and then just got a blanket) I took way too many just in case clothes - this time we each will have a pair of jeans, long thin underwear (small and easy to pack) and a sweatshirt type jacket - we can then layer. Oh and we will have our winter jacket but thy are from lands end and are thin like a t-shirt and roll up to fit into a half gallon ziplock bag -- yet are rated down to 22f - but we are bringing those more for our Austria trip than the cruise. I will not be overpacking the "warm" clothes this time - what I will do is bring a little extra money incase we want a sweatshirt from the cruise.
Hope that makes sense - sorry for the rambling

No, my cousin's daughter and I believe that was right about the time she started doing Chip n Dale.
Too funny!! I am not bringing any just in case clothes. The guys will have long pants for dinner, Becca will have a couple pairs of long pants, and I will fly in a pair of jeans. We will have wind breakers/rain coats for Barcelona and if we need something warmer we can SHOP!!There has to be an upside of crummy weather, yes?
Champaign Girls - I don't have a pink Tiara - can I just wear my princess one? And I looked for a boa today at WalMart - nothing. Target - nothing. Michaels - $180.. so I think I have to pass on that as well... Any other ideas??

We have been on touch with the DCL person (Cant recall her name now) and she is on vacation. I think that everyone doing a tasting or that has volunteered to help pull it all together needs to chat so that we can get a game plan figured out.
As we have another week before Dorothy (I think) is back, I will try and get PM's out to everyone so we can get organized.

That wasn't rambling at all - that actually REALLY helped me decide on what to pack and what not to pack! I'm not going to worry about long pants, probably just capris and shorts - I'm always hot anyway. I'll wear a lightweight jacket on the plane (one less than to have to pack) and then I can take if off if I get hot. You really did help me - thank you!!!!
Hmmmm...I wonder if I know her! I believe this picture was taken when James Brown was in Toontown. If you talk to her, ask her if she was there that day...I'll never forget seeing him in his pink jumpsuit and in the ECV.
for shopping on board if it's too cold! I'll end up doing that if I need to.
As far as a pink boa, did you try like Claire's or Icing? I saw Claire's had some boas the other day, I didn't go into the store to see the colors though.
DH and I are having a lazy day. I'm going to start a packing list on the computer soon - I don't want to forget anything! We're going to his uncle's birthday party later and then home for dinner and to watch True Blood and The Next Food Network Star. I can't believe we're only 2 months away from the cruise!
Hi Connie...I just paid for 4 pins. I think I originally only ordered 3 pins, so I hope this is OK. Also, I was not sure of the Dismeet time and location on 9-18 to pick up our pins. We will be on a tour of Barcelona and will not arrive on the ship until around 3:00 p.m. Thanks!!!
Michelle
Windy city novelites has boas for 3.20 and tiaras for 4.20
Their web cam does not work so I could not see the ship in port. I will look forward to your photo on FB
I am so jealous. My original plan had been to visit the Magic in Dover at some point, but decided that I really could not do it. It would break my heart to see the Magic sail away without me. After our cruise on the Norwegian Jade, we happened to be in Southampton on a day when the Jade was there and decided to head to Mayflower Park to see her sail away. That was hard enough and I am nowhere near as attached to that ship as I am to the Magic.

Oh I haven't even began to think about 'just in case clothes'
I'm getting worried about my luggage allowance now and how I am going to pack all of my formal clothes and fish extender gifts
I think I will have to have most of Bob's suitcase too
