I haven't even started on shoes yet ... I need to sort out the dresses / outfits first so I can try and get shoes which go with a lot of outfits.

One of my Ebay dresses has turned out a wee bit "see-through" so I will have to make an underskirt .... don't want to put anyone off their dinner:rotfl:

Sarah I think we may need to nickname you ebay queen as you seem to be getting your entire wardrobe from here!

I certainly don't want to add work for you; I was just trying to help. Sorry if it's not a good idea

Don't worry I don't mind emailing as its only 1 email. Just people will need to pm me email addys and I'll get it sorted. I'm happy either way or even both ways!

What killer? We haven't heard anything about that way down here?

Oh theres a guy who shot his ex-girlfriend, her boyfriend and a police officer (think I'm right) and then went on the run. He has threatened to kill police officers as he holds them responsible for it all!

I would be happy to have the designated whiteboard at our cabin. We are very unlikely to be upgraded or move. We already have whiteboards purchased, even! I saw on a previous post that this was something that needed a volunteer.

I think this all depends on whether we are just using 1 board for room changes or we need a board for other things but thanks for volunteering. Sue were you going to have the board for changes?

Hello all....we got our flight information today....but kind of in a strange way. A few weeks back we called Disney air to find out what airline they normally used out of JFK in NY...they told us that they generally use Delta. I mentioned to the young lady that they had a non-stop to Barcelona leaving at 5:40 in the evening. She led me to believe that they try to use non-stop flights when they can. Today, I called DCL reservations to find out if the flight had been assigned. I was told that they were waiting for confirmation from the airline and we should have it within 10 days.....so here is what I did....I called Delta and asked if by chance my DW and I were on Flight 94 leaving at 5:40 p.m. on that Friday evening. They confirmed we were on that flight and gave us the confirmation number so we could change our seat assignments if we wanted to. We are currently booked and our seats are 33 A & B. Very happy with the flight and the seats are fine. Also found out we are flying back home to JFK on a flight that leaves at 11:45 a.m. in the morning and is a non-stop back home. Great flights...and no rushing off the ship to get to the airport. We are VERY pleased with these flights!!! So....now we are just waiting for our stateroom assignment....we are booked as a 11 GTY.....hopefully we can get a little upgrade....maybe a small window to the outside world.....so we got half the loaf today......can you guys see the smile on my face.....its there!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Glad this is now sorted.

Thanks!!!! Just let me know how many I have to do for!!!

& I'll do tag... when I know more... I can put it out there and see who is interested...

& I think we're kinda like family on our WBPC thread... we've been through everything together... and everyone is always welcome to come back and visit!!! :grouphug:

Thanks I've added this to the first page list

Finally caught up.

Again glad that people are finding the Navigator useful, especially first timers. I know when we did our first cruise this would have been a great help which was what I was thinking when I made it. I think I've incorporated everyone's suggestions in now and got all the dates etc.

If anyone still wants things added just let me know. Cut off for changes wont be until 2 weeks before to ensure its as up to date as possible with the room list.

Also if someone doesn't mind carrying a few spare navigators for the B2B people please let me know so I can make a note in the navigator as well as telling those who have said they would like a copy once onboard. I am paranoid Ill forget them so think if there's at least 2 of us with spares it will be good.

Oh and once tasting dates are sorted Ill add them to the Navigator as well. Not going to release V2 until around then to save on constant changes.

And finally - anyone know the port address for Barcelona?

Just finished our budget for Euros. Will call tomorrow to order them,

Had to stop in and say 69 days and counting:banana::banana:

Good night!

Maz, you are looking at this all wrong. You only need one case. John needs three... as long as he has a couple things in each they are HIS!!!

I have to share my cases?????:lmao:

I have reserved the Hop On/Hop Off bus for Friday Sept 17. That much less cash we will have to carry. :thumbsup2

Do you have to book that, or are you saying you have noted it on your plans for the day?

As I was laying on the couch, reading all the pages tonight, laughing, smiling, and talking to myself, my husband is convinced that after this cruise I will need therarpy because I will not have my "dis" friends. Has anyone thought of the impact Oct. 3rd is going to have????:sad2: I think I might need an intervention or something!!!! I have missed you all!

I found it very hard after the '08 WBPC. We had chatted for so long, and some fellow cruisers were able to just move on and never go on the thread again, but some of us were almost depressed. I think a lot depends on our individual nature. It really took me a long long time not to well up when I thought about it all and it being all over. Many of us just wanted it to happen again, and be just the same(though better because we had had a practice run;)), but that will never happen.

Getting to know new cruise friends is a great though!!!:dance3:

we thought May 25th on the WBPc repo would be the end... but we're still talking and are very good friends...

Right everyone???? :grouphug:

Right Michelle!!:thumbsup2

Long skirt or pants I would go with. Capri's can be iffy. Its to do with showing off your knees so depending on the length some may take offense at some capri's. Shoes don't matter but I'd avoid flip flops as most churches will have loose stone floors as they are fairly old so may be an issue

Depending on the church you are better having your shoulders covered too. Either a sleeved tee, or a cardigan etc.

I like the idea of door tagging. It is so much fun to do crazy things late at night. I would not mind being included in this activity.

Too tired to post much tonight as been with kids and GK's today. Internet was down here for 4 hours so that put me behind. Will try to post more later today.

One thing I wanted to post before I went to sleep was update from 2010 Baltic thread:

First on Mickey Bars:
I ate the ice cream bar on the last night (sick of dessert by then) and I didn't think it was terrible although it melted pretty quickly (they will give you a bowl) and I think the coating is dark chocolate rather than milk (that's a plus for me but might not be for others)

Second on the Villains Night:
There were not a lot of people who did this, but it was encouraged. Later in the evening, after dinner times & shows, there was a Villian's Ball held in the Atrium. It will probably take a while to catch on more, but I thought it was a cool addition.

Is it London folk who are strange, or American folk who are strange........I know us Aussie folk are strange :rotfl:

hmmmm, maybe we're just all a strange lot then?! :thumbsup2

Your not rambling, your sharing, that's what we do here. It's nice that you've had some quality mother and daughter time before she goes to Bristol. Good Luck with the move, and packing the car! :goodvibes

Thanks! Having looked at the pile of luggage I'm coming to the conclusion it'll never fit and we should have hired a van! :rolleyes1

UKANGEL - thanks for updating us on your "little princess" - you are not rambling, just a happy mom.

Thank you :) I agree about after teh cruise...we'll just ahve to book another one!:rotfl2:

we thought May 25th on the WBPc repo would be the end... but we're still talking and are very good friends...

Right everyone???? :grouphug:

....even some of us who never got to go in the end! :rolleyes1:thumbsup2

Oh I still have friends from other cruises, but this board is unbelievable with the talks, etc. I do think lasting friendships will definitely transpire - between the pj's, the chip n dale's, spanx, FE's, cigars, books, etc. I know more about you guys than my own cousins!!! I love it!:cool1:

Yes! I think that too....my DIS-cousins :grouphug:

"Brain leaks," too funny. I call it my brain taking a little vacation. And it takes a lot more of them than the rest of me
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Oh theres a guy who shot his ex-girlfriend, her boyfriend and a police officer (think I'm right) and then went on the run. He has threatened to kill police officers as he holds them responsible for it all!
:scared1::scared1::scared1: Very scary, I think I may have heard something about it a week or so ago.

I think this all depends on whether we are just using 1 board for room changes or we need a board for other things but thanks for volunteering. Sue were you going to have the board for changes?

Yep, Sue AKA Momma Bear, is organising cabin changes :thumbsup2

It is more usefull than you could ever imagine!
I am happy to bring a few spares :thumbsup2
As for port address, I know it's the adossat terminal, boarding at terminal C, but not sure of port address, here is a great map though....

What a visual!! I was more envisioning you to be a beauty queen!!

in my dreams :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Is it London folk who are strange, or American folk who are strange........I know us Aussie folk are strange :rotfl:

Underskirt, it that like a petticoat or half slip.....oh no......we're back to undergarment conversations, :lmao:

and lets not even get started on the Welsh folk

an underskirt is the same as a petticoat ....but I will probably just mke a lining for it.

So you aren't doing a show'n'tell after all our discussions about underwear? :rotfl2:

Like I said ... not if people want to enjoy their food :rotfl2:

That's OK. I know several Texans who drool more than they drawl! :lmao:

I really love the Florida accent and the accent from the Southern states of the USA such as Louisiana.

Also... has anyone thought of doing door tag? You know... you make a few magnets, attach the list of those participating and you pass it from door to door until it gets back to the original person - you see how fast it can go around... I think we got about 5 or so done on the pc repo...

Door tag sounds fun ..... count me in !!!

Considered me advised. :)

Therefore, Attention SCRAPBOOKING EXCHANGE PARTICIPANTS:

Post #19 has been updated to reflect an additional participant.

Sorry for coming in late ... but I was convinced I had sent my pm earlier :sad2:

Sarah I think we may need to nickname you ebay queen as you seem to be getting your entire wardrobe from here!

Ebay Queen ... thats me ..... I am addicted. Won't be getting shoes from there though as I like to try them on and make sure they fit ...

Thank you :) I agree about after teh cruise...we'll just ahve to book another one!:rotfl2:

Definitely .... I am already thinking about 2011 :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: This is so true. And most of my cousins live within a half hour drive.

So what's this about door magnets being moved around?

Tweety0227 - how was the cruise - not on FB so I need some info :)

Hoagie..cruise was great (what cruise isn't?) The ship has some weird quirks, but we had a wonderful time. The evening entertainment was fabulous. They do not use the main theater as a show-every-night venue. It is rather small--only holds about 630 people. This ship has smaller venues for entertainment and reservations are necessary. People queue up for the shows about 1/2 before to insure good seating. Some of the more memorable acts are Blue Man Group, the Second City Troupe, Legends in Concert (although their show was down for a part of the trip), Cirque Dreams, which has a separate venue built for it. I posted my pictures on Webshots so that non-Facebook people can view them. http://community.webshots.com/user/Melanie0227
